Baymont Inn And Suites Mason - Mason

We had to wait 20 minutes before someone even showed up to check us in. Then there was a problem with our reservation. They were not willing to help correct the problem. The only thing good about our trip was the free breakfast.

Hotel was fine except for the fact that the pool was under construction and was not posted on the website. I woukd have went to another hotel if I had known....my daughter was very upset about it.....that was one of the two things she wanted at the hotel...swimming and breakfast....

ithe romm was very big and the bed was very good, But it could be a littie cleaner. Am I allergic to dust, The location was very convienient as we were traveling to Texas.

Very satisfied with the Baymont Inn and Suites in Mason, Ohio.....We were visiting the Cincinatti Zoo and the Newport Aquarium and chose this hotel online...Very pleased and will stay again. This place was FILTHY!!!. I have stayed at several other Baymonts and thought they were a good place to stay for the money. Thats why I chose Baymont in Mason. There was mold everywhere, even in the ice bucket lid. Torn carpets, white stains on the blankets, the pool was freezing, no attempt was made to clear the parking lot or sidewalks of the ice […] that covered it, the staff was useless. I could go on for hours. My grandson want to go swimming, and against my better judgement, allowed him to go. I don't know how he tolerated the water. It was icy. Then 10 minutes into his swim, he developes a rash from naval to his knees! We had to go out for hydrocortisone cream and Benadryl. The rash persisted for 2 days and he was miserable. The breakfast was a joke. Mufins cut in half (cheapskates), plain bagels, cold cereal , waffles that stuck to the waffle iron (no no-stick spray was anywhere in sight, and when we asked, we were told there wasn't any) and cold, rubbery discs of what they called eggs. Price was reasonable and hotel was clean. Could use an up-date on furniture...

I was severly dissappointed with the fitness center. I wanted to run on the treadmill, but it was not well maintained, and was in need of a new belt. It was completely unusable, as the belt kept stalling, slipping as I attempted to run.

The room was very comfortable and a great deal but the fold out couch and other chair in the room had suspicious white stains on them. Other than that it was a great stay.

We took a mini Vacation to Kings Island and we never got to stay so close. This was a great hotel for the price. surround by restaurants and only around the corner from the park.

The spa was closed, the pool was cloudy and hairy, The beds hard, but manageable, the sheet had something, IDK what, Some walls needed painting. Breakfast was good and had variety. The place was being nicely maintain in most areas. Not too bad.

It was difficult to understand the desk staff. Older building, but room was very clean. Convenient to sites in area.

the dirtiest place I ever stayed at. It was disgusting. Splashes of unknown substances on the walls,greasy fingertips traces all over the glass doors. I hate even mentioning the feces smears on the toilet seat. Linens had stains.Hair on the pillow. It was one kind of nightmare.

Very nice hotel and easy to find. Right off the exit and very close to Kings Island (Less than 10 mins). Did not get a chance to check out the pool or breakfast, though. Would enjoy staying again when in the area.

We've stayed at this hotel 3 times now. It is close to our family and roadsways with lots of food choices nearby. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Rooms need updating (last year we were sure our microwave was going to explode) and many have peeling wallpaper border and mildew in the bathroom (unfortunately that is found in 95% of hotels I have […] stayed at including 4 star hotels). The hotel was OK. We were only there for one night. Clean linens and towels etc but the place was pretty dirty and needs a real makeover. There were stains on the walls and everything could use some fresh paint. It wasn't terrible but just OK. We would probably try somewhere else next time.

This hotels indoor pool and spa area were absolutely filthy and the pool water was so cold you couldn't use it. The hot tub had a ring of filth all around it. There was hair all around the pool area. It was obvious that it hadn't had any cleaning in weeks. I will pay double before staying there again.

The hotel was clean and the staff were helpful. The indoor pool is okay but the whirlpool is great very hot. We had a king room and loved it but the chair and office chair were very very aged. Great place to stay if your in the Cincinatti area.

When we checked in we had been booked thru hotel.com as smoking room (thru telephone reservation). The website is a little confusing as in one place it says smoking room but when you pull it up it is non-smoking. So I called. Anyway he promptly got things switched around for our two rooms. Check in was quick and we were given adjoining rooms as requested. Oops, one of those rooms were occupied still. We were promptly reassigned to different adjoining rooms and our stay was pleasant. The indoor pool was clean, but cold. Nice stay, and clean rooms for the cost, but a heated pool would have been nice.

everything was good. Bed was comfortable and room was neat and clean.

Very good overall; staff a bit unfriendly, but room very clean, nice facilities for the price.

I asked for a non smoking room....and was giving a preiously smoking room, which smelled horrible. The lady at the counter said she couldn't do anything so i told her i would just leave and eat the cost of the hotel. The room was not as clean as I would like, but the beds were comfortable. There was mildew around the ceiling in the bathroom. It was very close to Kings Island and The Beach so I'm sure it is a very busy hotel. We would stay there again, we had a good time at the indoor pool. The fitness room looked good as well. The Baymont Inn and Suites is very convenient to the Cincy tennis tournament in August.
