We were told this hotel is hard to find. It is no exaggeration. It literally took us 30 min to find the hotel after we gt off the subway. It is in a huge business complex. We had a lovely stay where the staff was fabulous in trying to accommodate non-Japanese speaking tourists. A lovely hotel located on the 25th floor of the Shiodome Media Tower, able to boast easy access for travellers to the Yurikamome Line from the 3rd floor skywalk and the Oedo line from the basement thru the underground passages, its very well located and tourist friendly. The area around the hotel is quite business like and the artistic 'Big Clock' is right next door where on certain times of the day it putsmon a show for the passerbys. Pros: Shimbashi and Ginza is definitely walkable but reading previous posts saying its only a 5 minute walk isn't correct. The hotel goes out of their way to entertain customer requests. Cons: There does not seem to be a concierge service. Upon my arrival, my wife and i had a number of bags and none of the staff actually came to help but they just stood and smiled but didn;t move to help. Improvements needed: A simple area map of streets and buildings in english, the locations of the nearest family mart, access to the subway on the 3rd floor and to the Oedo line in the basement could be placed in individual rooms. It took us a couple of days, and many trial and errors to actually familiiarize ourselves with the area. Non-speaking guests could be provided with small business cards which they can carry around and show to people or taxis in order to get directions in case they get lost like we did late one night. Due to the great rate we got from Expedia we booked the Park Hotel already several times. It is in short walking distance to Ginza shopping district and conveniently located next to a large Park. There is also a 24 hours convenience store in the basement. The subway station is also in close proximity easily reachable via elevator from the hotel. The […] rooms are good size for Tokyo standards and are very clean. We got a baby bed for our 4 month old daughter which was of great quality build and confort. Quite a lovely hotel, it fills only a few levels of a large new office building. The rooms are large for Japan and have very comfortable beds with soft, western pillows. It's a short walk or 1 stop via the monorail to some very cool nightlife full of salaryman bars and restaurants. The foyer and some rooms have great views of Mt Fuji. Great place to explore the many shops of Ginza and the famous fish market is about a 15 min walk. A lot of places to go to eat/drink if you look hard. A lot of raid works going down the main intersection at the moment but other than when walking this isn't really a problem. Hotel was top-notch, great value and very attentive and friendly staff.

The service was wonderful. Our reservation was processed incorrectly by the hotel and when we arrived, they did not have the correct size room for our family (we asked for a triple, but they had a double). As soon as they confirmed that we had reserved a triple, they offered us an upgraded double room plus an additional single room for our teenager, […] all for the same price! I've never had a hotel do that to correct an error on their part. The rooms are small by US standards, but we expected that and were thrilled by the view from our upgraded corner room. Location is good--more of a business district, but easily accessible from the metro. If you get off at Shimbashi , take exit 7 from the station and it will take you to the hotel. I was hoping to have a nice view of the Tokyo Tower from our corner room like in the pictures but we had a room facing 90 degrees off from those views, so instead we had a view of another skyscraper, the train tracks, and then the city off to the right. We spent 6 nights at the Park Hotel and it is a very nice place to stay in Tokyo. The location, next to Shimbashi station, makes it easy to get everywhere. It is also a short walk or one subway stop to Ginza and the Tsukiji fish market. The lobby on the 25th floor has a 10 story atrium and perfect views of the Tokyo Tower and Mt Fuji. Since the rooms […] are at least 26 floors above the street, it is very quiet. The lobby is served from the ground by 3 express elevators and there is no waiting. There are 3 more elevators to the guest rooms that are also fast and quiet. The total time from ground to the 34th floor is just a few minutes. The rooms are small by western standards, but certainly inviting. The bedding is very comfortable and the pillows were great. Our room faced east and the rising sun was completely squelched by the black out curtains. You will not want to keep the blinds closed for long because the view is awesome. The bathroom is small but completely serviceable. The shower head is very high and no hunching over is required. The best part might be the free wifi, which is truly free and fast. No login pages or acceptance of terms of conditions to join the wifi. Just connect once and you are done for the stay. The staff is very polite and helpful. They were able to arrange a package delivery within Tokyo for me. They also provided train transfer information that I requested. I would definitely stay at the Park Hotel again. Pročitajte više

The staff, in my opinion, makes this a 4-star hotel, instead of a 3-star hotel. The staff is as good as any staff at Four Seasons or at similar top-notch luxury brand hotels would be. They are extremely courteous yet professional, and as accommodating! Perfect in my opinion! This hotel is one of the best kept secrets in entire Tokyo in terms of location […] for business travelers or for leisure seekers. Only a 10min walking distance from the famous Ginza district. In my opinion, the location is superbly convenient (Shiodome station for Yamanote Line and JR Trains is right under neath the hotel), shopping, restaurants, and post office all within easy walking/stroll distance. So - why a 4-star not a 5 star? The room is very functional, clean, with a full queen bed and a closet, a desk space, a lounger, and a wet bar completes the room. By Tokyo standards, the room is larger than most 4 or 3 star hotels. But the room still felt like utilitarian to me. I would rate the room a 4-star. The 3 star comes from my room's vantage point (Room 3117), I heard every train, metro subway, the bullet train, loud speakers, and other city noises until very late into the night. For some, the noise level might bother them quite a bit. I had ear plugs, which let me sleep soundly, but I still heard the street and subway/train noise. Concierge and front desk staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Only downside was a double charge for the room as we had paid for the first night through Expedia but it was quickly rectified when pointed out.

gets a 5 star for the view alone. I payed extra for a corner room and had an awesome view of the Tokyo Tower and when the cloud lifted, Mount Fuji!..it was a pleasure to sit and do work with such a great aspect.
