Having stayed in Heliopolis, Cairo before I found this hotel to be very quite and peaceful. It's away from the main road so traffic can't be heard. Up to the usual high Marriot standards and staff polite and helpful. Will be using again.

Very, very poor customer service. Made us book an extra night as our flight arrived early morning and if we wanted airport pick-up, we had to book an extra night! The hotel is quite old and need attention. Room was not clean, food quality poor. Having stayed at many JW's before this is certainly not up to their standards.

Excellent overall. If you like to stay downtown Cairo this hotel is out of town. However you will not regret your stay.

It took them two hours to pick me up from the airport (Free Shuttle Service), at 2 am - I left the airport at 4 am. That costed me $$ of roaming. I booked a room with breakfast but they made it hard to get that too. Kept on getting confusing information about if I can or can not have the breakfast. Very clean and nice looking hotel, but out in no where […] on a major free way so no access to cabs or transportation. No walking to anything (literally on the free way, not an exit). My stay JW Marriott was great except that at check in ... they asked for cash deposit in case I don't want to add extras on my CC which I didn't prefer. I had only Canadian currency and bank at hotel was closed in a weekend... They wouldn't take Canadian dollars and they wouldn't offer you any other solution... Front Desk manager was not at all helpful […] or courteous, he basically said it's the only option they got either deposit 1200 Egy pounds or 200 US dollars and no other currency is accepted ... I told him you already have the CC number... at check out u suppose to give the option to charge it on CC or pay cash... he wouldn't listen and was almost mocking what I had to say...2 days passed I receive a phone call from front desk informing me that the 1200 le deposit were up and they required another deposit... P.S the reason is not good to put extras on CC is because there is international charge on CC every time they run it... Pročitajte više

Fantastic hotel for families. Very friendly staff. Good selection of restaurants. Children under 11 eat free in the buffet for breakfast and lunch so good value if travelling with young kids. 3 outdoor swimming pools - 1 with waves and 1 with slides and fountains so the children were happy all day long. We were in Cairo visiting family so didn't do […] the sightseeing thing so can't really comment on ease of access to city centre and tourist attractions. The hotel was nice, the pool and fake beach is also nice. There is a gold course which we did not go to but its view was very nice. The staff was good overall. I was intially disappointed at the lack of upkeep of the out door shrubbery and the indoor carpets. However once inside the service and the luxurious spa facilities made up for it. I had a great time and hardly left the hotel as it was great. My only complaint is the hotel's limosine service is way over priced.

The hotel is fantastic and staff members are very professional in their approach. Location wise, its very convenient and my meetings were at the airport so its only 20 minutes’ drive from there. There is a shuttle bus to the airport every hour on the hour and they will also arrange airport pickup (free of charge like the shuttle bus) if you send them […] an e-mail in advance. the only disappointment i got was from the rent a car place, which i know has got nothing to do with the hotel but they are using hotel premises to do their business, and that’s the only reason i am mentioning this, they will try to rip you off by any means i.e hiding the smaller cars and promoting higher and more expensive once, when you are just about to sign the agreement, finding any excuse when you return the car to make you pay i.e. a scratch, tyre thread, wipers, so its best to do a thorough check if you are going to hire from there. i have nothing against the hotel as its a pleasant place to stay and reasonable price too. Hotel very nice, and service generaly good but spoiled by the annoying habit of the staff chaseing you to sign bills almost immediately. Half way through dinner or breakfast for example. Even when you have meals included in your reservation. They must spend a fortune on paper !! Most places just add extras if any, to your final invoice, which you then […] settle at the end of your stay. The Hotel is very perfact hotel and really 5 star. Golf field is very wonderful and nice view. The crew and receiption are very kind and restrantants are very good to take lunch and dinner. But only one thing is uncomportable that is very far from the cairo city.

Other than British Airways screwing everything up because their pilot got sick and it took them 4 hours to get another one so I ended up booking alternative flights on KLM, the holiday was very enjoyable.

This hotel was amazing! I am very familiar with the Marriott brand in the US, but this hotel blew my expectations out of the water. It was on the verge of oppulent! カイロから車で３０～４０分離れているので、街中への利便性は悪いですが、ホテル内は広くて清潔で、ここだけはとってもアメリカンなホテルですね。食事も美味しく、接客も良いのですが、値段までアメリカ価格なのでちょっと残念です。プールやジャグジーもあるので、是非水着持参で泊まってくださいね。ゆっくり過ごすには最適なホテルです。

Der dreitägige Aufenthalt im JW Marriott Cairo war ausgezeichnet. Die Ausstattung und der Service war top. Wenn man aus dem etwas ärmlichen Cairo kommt, kann man erstmal einen kleinen Schock bekommen ;) Das Essen ist halbwegs preiswert (für deutsche Verhältnisse), ist aber "nur" gut.
