Overall not a bad place to stay. I stayed overnight on a Friday and expected noise. Not a peep, quite surprisingly! Room was clean and motel was located close to I-75 with many restaurants & gas stations very close. Motel personnel were friendly & aware of what was going on around the premises. I would stay there again...

I sometimes travel with pets and have stayed here before. It didn't smell as good as it did the first time, but it wasn't too bad. I think someone had smoked in our non-smoking room previously. I will definitely stay here again if I'm traveling with pets.

The hotel is located close to the interstate but hidden back some so pretty quiet. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but they did have a waffle maker. The rooms were older but had some remodeling in the bathrooms and the one we had was pretty large. Overall, pretty good especially for the money.

The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was amazing! We were welcomed by a woman with a wonderful attitude, despite it being almost midnight, and the women at the desk the next two days were very helpful and thoughtful, as well. After a visit to the ER our last night, the front desk and cleaning staff were more than happy to extend our check out time and wait patiently to clean the room. Our stay was just an overnight while traveling to our destination but I was not pleased with the room. The bed slept ok, sheets and bathroom fixtures were clean but old and the floor corners were dirty. The furniture was really beat up and the whole facility needs redone.

Rooms where good. Stayed two nights. Close to good restaurants. Good beds and pillows & upgraded flat screen TV. Very friendly staff. Good stay for the money. Only issue would be to clean carpet better not just a vaccuum needs a shampooing.

We use Hotels.com quite a bit and usually the reviews are right on. This one received a 4. How, I don't know. The only thing I can say for this hotel is it seemed safe. When we checked in we wondered if it is also an hourly motel. There was a fridge and microwave in the room from the 1980's. The floor was so dirty we threw our socks away when we left. […] We didn't even shower while staying here because the room was so unclean. We had hairs on our towels. Both the night desk clerk and morning desk clerk were so nice and friendly and helpful. My 2 kids and I stayed overnight at the Super 8 on our way to Knoxville for a ball tourney!! We got a comfortable night sleep, and a free breakfast with waffles we made ourselves!! I would stay again. Thanks!

We paid for four days but kept having to go back to the office to redo our key cards. They were only setting them for a day at a time. Extremely inconvenient!!

Plesant stay for the price, room was clean and service was very good. Nice breakfest bar setup. Plenty of local resturants and fast food location nearby. Easy access to the interstate.

I had to go to Athens for work and stayed here one night. It is a great little place to stay. The staff is extremely nice and the breakfast was decent. I wish we would have stayed here the second night as well because we stayed at a hotel just down the road from this one and it was terrible. The Motel 6 is one to stay away from.

their was construction going on in the front of the hotel from another hotel and was difficute to get to cause of traffic. the beds were stiff and hard and one keep poping when you moved or sat on it. i maked reservations thru hotels.com was excellent service there. Our visit to the Super 8 motel in Athens, TN was an excellent experience. The only recommendation that I would make is that the breakfast that is provided would contain better food selections as donuts, bagels and waffles are very fattening for all of us including the children. Perhaps there would be a way that scrambled eggs could be made and provided […] and do away with the donuts or waffles. I picked this hotel because it offered all that I needed for my trip without an additional fee. I needed the internet, refrigerator and a microwave. Since we did not need for the staff to make up the beds it would have been nice to have had new towels and washcloths offered instead of our looking for the service staff but all in all that was just a very small issue. We needed extra pillows and the staff graciously provided those when requested. The heat needs to be looked into because we couldn't get the temperature to maintain at 67 degrees and we were very 'hot' at night when we slept. All together our visit there was excellent and I will recommend that others visit there and we will also come back on our next visit possibly. It would have been nicer had we had a Super 9 in Etowah to book our reservation because we had to drive 18 miles one way to get to our relatives. Perhaps that could be considered. Since this hotel is very reasonably priced there would be no competition in Etowah as all of their hotels are expensive. Pročitajte više

Convenient, Efficient, Clean, Friendly, Reasonable Rates! Can't ask for anything more. We stayed at three different Super 8 motels within a week. This was the best of them all. Even has waffles at breakfast.

It was just a stop over enroute to Florida. There were several eating places within a short distance. We basically just ate & went to bed. The continental breakfast was very good (had a self do it waffle maker).

Super 8 in Athens is about what you would expect for the price. The room was clean and the bed wasn't bad, but the furniture in the room was very old and dated. But considering the price it was about what we expected. The breakfast area was very clean and the food good, fresh donuts and you could make your own waffles.
