We had a wonderful experience at this hotel and will stay again when we go back. Hotel staff was very helpful especially Lizbetta (not sure how she spells it) and room was small but cozy.

My husband and I were traveling with our 16 year old daughter. We had a junior suite which was perfect! Room very clean. Bathroom had full bathtub and shower. Very Clean! The suite also had small kitchenette. We did not cook but it was nice to have the microwave and refrigerator. The pictures of our Junior Suite on Web Site were accurate.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends! The location was wonderful, the interiors charming and comfortable, the hotel staff the nicest we have met in our several visits to Paris. They (the staff) were friendly and helpful whenever we needed assistance, in-person or on the phone. The Residence des Art is across the street from the Villa […] des Estrees where the concierge and hotel staff are. Still, we felt very secure in the Residence, the cozy lobby of which was in the sightlines of the Villa front desk. We loved our room: very romantic, with comfortable beds and nice bathroom. About the average size for a Paris room, a little short on drawer space, but it had a refrigerator which was an unexpected asset! Note: the Irish Bar is noisy, but primarily so on Friday and Saturday nights. We recommend you bring earplugs: we did, and slept just fine. Elevator is small but does the job! Hotel is an annex across a narrow street from main hotel, the Villa d'Estrees but carefully watched by reception. All staff we dealt with was warm and very helpful with questions, calls and advice but must single out Johanna, who was simply superb. Hotel location is wonderful - a block from the Seine and two blocks from Notre Dame, restaurants galore, […] a Starbucks and terrific falafel take-out within two blocks. In addition, it is a real neighborhood and there is a boulangerie, small market and charcuterie nearby with wonderful take-out. If you want to economize, or just relax in your room and skip a night of restaurant meals and have salads and wonderful rotisserie chicken, it is all within a short walk. WE LOVED OUR STAY HERE. Some previous reviews cited noise from the British pub on the corner. We had no problem with noise, the hotel windows blocked it. We felt the activity in the pub at night affords a measure of safety because you can stay out in the evening, go to a concert and return to a street with lights and people. Location is fabulous. Room was adequate - we had a junior suite on fourth floor with twin beds and a sofa bed (which was softer than the twins!). Good block out curtains, decent shower, wifi and tv all good. Little kitchenette a bit minimal but we decided to eat out so no problem for us. Lift was minuscule but they took our luggage up for us as room […] wasn't ready at our early arrival hour and we spent the day sight seeing. Shower door was sticking open but was fixed as soon as we mentioned it. Stairways steep and narrow and carpet a bit tired. Street noise didn't bother us due to our own late nights but I thought windows were pretty good at soundproofing. Overall we were happy with this hotel and delighted with the location. Very charming hotel. Great rooms (we had a junior suite) and location. Some other reviewers mentioned the pub noise but with the windows closed, it's very quiet. The pull out and king bed worked great for our family (4 and 8 year old kids) and having the kitchenette was wonderful but everything we needed was nearby.

Except from the stairs, there is nothing i would complain about. The location and the comfort of our room was realy satisfying. İ would prefer to stay in this hotel at my future travels to Paris.

We had a suite with a bed and pull out couch -- plenty of space with a small kitchenette and large bathroom. As with many hotels in France, the elevator was very small. We also had to go up and down steps to get to the tiny elevator. While this was not a big deal for us, if you'd find this a challenge, you might need to ask the very helpful staff for […] assistance. The one-person front desk was always staffed by someone helpful who spoke excellent English. The neighborhood and location was excellent near Notre Dame, the Metro, and many Cafes. The hotel itself was very good. However, it is located above two bars on a narrow street, and with crowd noise late at night, and trash pickup early in the morning, it was noisy. We would have rated it higher if it weren't for the noise. This hotel is conveniently located and served our party of three well. The main draw back is a tiny elevator. We were on the 4th fl and used the steps half the time. Some people may have an issue with Bar below open and noisy until about 5 am. We were so tired it didn't bother off enough not to consider returning.

Stayed here for 3 nights for business. Fantastic location, room was very nice, staff extremely friendly and helpful. My wife and I stayed here with our two children. (This is one of the few hotels we could find that allowed four people per room.) Our room was clean and nice and the service was friendly and helpful. The room was on the third floor. We only used the elevator once. The location was exceptionally good. We would go back!

This hotel really is a hidden gem in a great location. Surrounded by outdoor cafes and close to the Sienne, it is a perfect home-base for walking tours, dining and shopping. On the minus side, it was very hard to find, parking is a ways away and driving in the area is not for the feint of heart. You're likely to arrive frustrated, but once you get settled […] you'll be happy you made the effort. Our room was large and well appointed with a huge bathroom and surprise kitchenette. The lights in the hallways are on timers so you'll have to look for the switches and the elevator is the size of an Ikea bookcase - seriously. As with most places we have stayed in Europe, location is key. The Residence Des Arts is no exception. The location can't be beat - right in the heart of the Latin Quarter and a short walk to the wonderful shopping in Saint Germain. Right across the river from Ile de Cite and Notre Dame Cathedral. I have always stayed in the Latin Quarter because of the amount of people and nightlife. Area is safe at night because of all the lights and people. Room was clean and well serviced every day. Bathrooms are typically small for Paris but clean with all necessities. Wireless Internat access was free with log-on details/password available from the reception. We did not try the hotel breakfast as there were so many outside options. Location is fantastic. Easy walking distance to major atractions and 1 minute from metro station. St Michael is a great area, very popular with many restaurants and small shops. The rooms can be affected by noise, especially on Friday and Saturday nights, but if you are looking for peace amd quite, don't stay in the St Michael area. Super Lage, direkt im Leben! Leider kein Parkplatz vor der Tür, aber öffentliches Parkhaus (teuer) in direkter Nähe zum Hotel. Zimmer stylisch wie man sich Pariser Hotels vorstellt. Lebendige Straße, freundlicher Concierge Service. Alles in allem für uns (Familie mit 2 Kindern) ein gelingenes Erlebnis.

Geschmackvoll, sauber und in bester Lage. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt zu dritt in der geräumigen Suite sehr genossen. Gerade für Eltern mit Teanie hervorragendes Hotel. Das Restaurant direkt daneben ist ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen.
