The only drawback was a couple small stains on the rug (looked to be dried rug shampoo or likewise) and a burn hole in the comforter, which I reported as soon as we noticed. It was $50 but in this area of CT there's many cheap places to stay. The bed was very hard, the heater was loud and the temp went from hot to cold all night. The bath fan was so loud you'd wake your partner up if sleeping and the blanket under the conforter had cigarette burn holes. It wasn't terrible but needs some improvement. "Affordable Hotel With Some Flaws"
I am not a picky person when it comes to staying at hotels at all but this one just rubbed me the wrong way a little. Other then the hotel updates like most hotel in this price range my main issue was with how they run the hotel. It is very noticeable that they use there rooms for transitional housing or section 8. When we first got to our hotel room […] I first questioned why every door but mine had a kitchen trash bag outside the door (trash day apparently, and man did it smell). Then you notice and hear all the families out and about in the hallways and lobby all the time. We also had someone playing extremely loud music next to us. If you can deal with all that this hotel is fine and cheap. On a positive note the room really wasn't to bad. The bed was a nice king size and the bathroom was clean for hotels in this price range, but the recliner was really dirty. Just stayed one night (thankfully). It may only be disturbing to me but this hotel also offers hourly rates and I'm not surprised. The rooms were gross and smelled horrific. The hotel is older and in need of some minor repairs in the rooms, but it is perfect for the price and only about 1/2 hour from the casino (at least the direction I went).
