Standard no-frills motel experience. No moldy odor which is all too common in this type of inexpensive motel. Room was clean.
"Good for the price"
Very clean, hospitable staff, great for an overnight. Not crazy about the breakfast options, but again, for the price it was more than reasonable. Would definitely stay again.

Convenient and clean. Nice simple breakfast. Muffins, bagels, hot and cold cereal, oranges, assortment of drinks. I always love the make your own waffles. Small bathroom with great Water Pik shower head! Microwave and refrigerator in room, and coffee pot. Comfortable.

The hotel was quiet and clean. It certainly was up to date. I had a restful night. For the price, it is a good place to stay. However, I wanted to be closer to the NY border. Lennox, MA is over 23 miles away and driving to the hotel, after a concert at 11 PM at night is a bit too much.
"Convenient for Tanglewood Events"
Just a few miles from Tanglewood. Nice pool. Very helpful counter clerk. On a busy roadway so coming and going can be challenge.

This is a basic hotel close to Pittsfield which is what I wanted and not far from Stockbridge and the many attractions in this area. My only complaint was that the carpet wasn't cleaned very well each day. If you have heavy bags make sure you ring before you arrive to get a ground floor room. okay inexpensive hotel about 10 mi from Tanglewood. Easy to get to from end of concert. Ask for room on backside. Front is about 200 yards from major road although light on traffic at night. Good outdoor pool.
Just ok - worked for one nite when we needed to be in the area for summer camp drop-off early in the morning. we checked in late and left early - wouldn't have wanted to spend much more time at the hotel. Felt a little low-budget, tho the price wasn't as low as it should have been.

The room was large and comfortable. Decor a bit dated but everything seemed clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. A very reasonable continental breakfast was included n the price.

My flight was late so I called Hotel to make sure about my reservation that ...I am coming after midnight. When I checked In Front Desk Manager was with full of freshness & joy welcome to Hotel there was no sign that he is tired....first he asked about my trip .....that was nice gesture...than I realized that I booked Smoking Two Beds Room so He changed […] my room to Non Smoking King Bed and....I request for late Check Out and he said....What time I would like to Check Out, He was so help full & polite....one of best staff I seen. When I entered the room ...Room was warm. Room was Spacious Clean,Comfortable Bed with all amenities. One more thing they have Wi-fi Internet which was working as HIGH SPEED..... The comforter had stains and cigarette burns on it. The queen sized mattress was sitting on two separate wooden boxes that almost seemed like pallets, one of which was broken down near the foot of the bed. It almost felt like I was going to fall off of the end of the bed when I laid down. The shower was not meant for average-sized adults! I'm only […] 5'8" tall and my head still hit the shower head. I reserved here because it was near Lenox, where we planned to spend our anniversary weekend. If this motel were in any other metropolitan area, say Springfield, the room rate would be one-third what they charge. This is a run-down dump. The room was tiny and superficially clean. Paper cups. The light bulbs were covered in dust. The table rocked and […] swayed on its base. There wasn't enough room to sit in the chairs. Thank god we were on the back side, as the front faces Rt. 7 and the traffic races by at high speed all day and night. The breakfast was an insult - pitiable pastries and terrible, thin coffee. I assume they feel they can provide a modicum of amenities and pre-1960s room quality at a usurious rate because people perceive it as economical when attending Tanglewood - but I would bet they get few repeat customers. "very poor"
they checked us into the wrong room. after using shower and unpacking to get ready for a wedding, they came to dr and told us we "...had to move". we were on our way to the wedding and this was very, very inconvenient. they offered to take our stuff to new rm because we had to leave for wedding. when we came back late that night, they did it again!!! […] they told us to go to the wrong rm. I asked for paperwork and found they were sending us to wrong room, again. they mixed us up with someone else, again! in addition, wallpaper was peeling and rug was dirty and soiled. terrible experience. "Not Bad at all"
The best thing about this hotel is the location. It is close or easily accessible to Tanglewood and many of the areas you may be interested in visiting. The room was not palatial but it was clean and comfortable. It had a refrigerator, microwave and free wireless internet. "Don't expect too much, and you'll be happy"
Is this hotel plain? Yes. Is it clean? Yes. Can you have a good night's sleep? Sure. Was the staff helpful and cheery? Absolutely. For the money (at least in summer), you might expect more, but what you're paying for is location, right? There are plenty of resorts down the road if you want luxury.
"Just convenient"
The only reason to stay here is if all other hotels in the area are sold out and you will be there for a short duration. The room was shabby, musty and fixtures and furniture were old. Stayed one night after a Tanglewood concert, because other places were sold out. Would avoid staying there again unless in the same situation.
If you have a choice ask for a room away from the road. Older hotel but for the price it offers excellent value.
"Short and sweet - great for quick stop over"
My son and I spent one night (winter time). Staff was friendly, the parking lot was clear, our room was close to the office, breakfast was fresh and plentiful. I would stay again if back in town.

We were staying in the Berkshires and decided we wanted to stay an extra day so we decided to book an inexpensive room in Lenox, a cute little town. We booked from hotels.com and the hotel was in a great location. We based our decision on location and what was inexpensive. This location was bad and should be avoided. There was NO LIGHTING at all in […] the parking lot. It was pitch black and secluded. When we tried to leave this morning, there was no attendant on staff in the office and it was dark and locked--- so we could not even return our key. We had to head out at about 6am. "Stayed for one night..."
Good hotel for one night stay. Very simple room, not many ammenities but was fine for a night. There are restaurants/shops 5-10 mins north and south on Rt 7 so location is pretty good.
"Great for the money"
The only complaint I have with the hotel is that the room had a mild smell to it. Nothing overwhelming, but still noticeable. Everything else was great, the bed was comfortable, the carpet was clean, the bathroom was clean. A very enjoyable hotel experience.
"Old and Outdated"
While adequate and clean, this hotel (really a Motel) was outdated and lacking any charm. Coffee maker in room, as well as a fridge and micro were bonuses. Plenty of hot water, although the bathroom made me claustrophobic.

Kind of a dingy place but close to Tanglewood. Bathrooms are very small. Dirty mini fridge in the room. Overpriced for what you get...

Not a too bad of a place, although the room was dingy and there small flies flying around in the room. The door feels like its made of cardboard and could easily be torn down. Granted it was in a beautiful area, and there was a nice big TV.

i stayed in a king sized bedroom to the rear of the hotel and it was quiet, although i switched off the fridge as it was humming a bit. The room was good value for money and was fine for a night. It was close to Lenox with some good eating places.
