We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. For $37 for a weeknight, we were a bit leery but the room was nice and the decor was pretty cool. I found the Super 8 not easy to get to. You can see it from the road but the drive way to the motel is not easy to find. "Good for the price"

"Started great ended bad."
We arrived on a Saturday and the hotel staff at the front desk was very helpful suggesting restaurants and accommodating our request for extra pillows. She was very pleasant. The next day however we were rudely awakened by hammering and drilling coming from the next room. It was barely 9am! When I mentioned it to the front desk she merely laughed and […] said" Oh, they woke you up?" No apologies for the noise! It was a different person at the front desk than the day before. Her customer service skills are seriously lacking. I suggested that perhaps all the maintenance should be done between 11am and 4 pm since we have to check out by 11am and can not check in until 4pm. This is a Super 8 and is very inexpensive. There is nothing to impress anyone. It is clean and well maintained and in a great location. The desk personnel are helpful and courteous. Upon check-in, our assigned room smelled of smoke. The front desk clerk switched us to another room promptly.The room was very clean as was the bathroom. "Lost My GPS from the Parking Lot"
I would not recommend this place as I lost my Garmin Nuvi 3590 LMT GPS navigation device from the parking lot. I opened the car for one lot of suitcases to put inside the car and went to the room to get the next lot of the suitcases without locking the car because there were 4-5 room cleaning personals outside. Then, when I went to my car to put the […] second lot of suitcases and drive the car, the GPS was gone. WOOOW! I called the san antonio police and reported this incidence but, haven't heard from any one about the updates on the lost gps in the event of leaving the car door open for some seconds!
