We just needed a place to stay overnight between one venue and another. The Super 8 was the cheapest in Mountain View. That said we were surprised after reading the reviews here. Comfort was fine, but when i asked for them to clean the black mold on the tub grout, that's all they cleaned. The soap dish, 6 inches away kept its black mold.

Comfortable, clean and good location. Staff is helpful. Room is clean. Walking distance to Castro St. Fridge and microwave is a good plus.

Didn't ask for much and was happy with what I got. A clean room, adequate services, hot water, TV, A/C. Starbucks, Chipotle, drugstore, bagel store and more next door. I'd hope for a better breakfast, but that seems to be the standard.

Have stayed a few times and found it consistent. Rooms are clean and large and the beds are comfortable. However WiFi is the downer; it is bad and seems to have gotten worse since I first stayed...just OK for the odd email. That alone will make me think twice about staying there again; they really need to fix it.

I stayed for 4 nights for a business trip. This hotel is relatively inexpensive so I didn't expect luxury. For the price, the hotel was very good. I was greeted by a friendly person when I checked in. The hotel is not new, but clean. There were many current magazines on the lobby table and fresh coffee and fruit in the lobby each morning, though I typically […] went down the block to the Starbuck's. The room was plain but clean and had everything I needed. The blow dryer was wall mounted and not very powerful, so you might need to bring your own. When I returned each day, the room was vacuumed, bed well made, bathroom cleaned, new towels, etc. Outside at the stairwell, there was a mattress and some other items the entire time I was there, as if those items needed to be thrown out or put into storage, but they were leaning on a cement wall barely noticeable, but I noticed them. About what you would expect for a budget motel. Room was spacious and clean but pretty basic. Fairly quiet, considering location right next to El Camino Real. This would have been a decent stay at a bottom of the pile, cheapest hotel you can find. The shower had mold. The smoke detector was dangling from the ceiling. The "continental breakfast" contained two types of cereal, english muffins, and small apples. No hard boiled eggs, no yogurt, no cereal variety, nothing I would expect from even a cheap hotel. The […] hotel staff showed no interest in being friendly or helping their customers. When asked about "discounts at nearby fitness centers" advertised on their website both the owner and his son said they didn't know anything about what their own website says and couldn't help. They didn't even pretend they would look into it, they just said "sorry." The rooms were completely bare and devoid of any decoration or character. A clean quiet hotel, I had an upstairs room, absolutely peaceful. Microwave, mini fridge, new carpet, clean towels, fresh bedding, everything I need from a hotel. another hotel chain just down the road is double the cost, but not double the service! I'd stay again!

Its not the worth paying that money , and the staff is not polite , there are some Motel just nearby which have rates 30 % less than this ....I was not completely happy with this hotel...

I am providing a second review as I stayed here again and this time my battery died. This happened at 6:30am and there was no one around to give me a jump start. The manager went above and beyond and helped me by providing me a jump start with his own car. I don't think any other manager would have done this especially so early in the morning. As a contractor I stayed here while working in the area the hotel was fine but the breakfast was lacking, Cold cereal, danish or English muffin and that's about it.

I only stay here because I smoke. I would look elsewhere if you don't. The rooms smell musty, front desk staff not friendly, bed uncomfortable...almost makes me want to stop smoking. :) Good things: it's in a good location to highways and restaurants and the price is cheap (you get what you pay for).
