The friendly staff were exceptional! Hotel was very clean and well maintained for an older building. Even though this hotel is right on the highway, inside the room was quiet. The only negatives, walking from the room to the breakfast area, you must at some point in time go outside, in the pouring rain that was not so pleasant. Hotel staff was friendly, professional, and efficient. A continental breakfast was included in stay. Room was comfortable. If you are driving, this is a good alternative to a Manhattan hotel because of free parking. Easy access from George Washington Bridge.

Overall ok. 3 star quality hotel. But not good for those traveling with public transportation. The buses leave you about a 20 minute walk away from the hotel..however there is no clear path to walk through. So, it could end up being about an hour walk going through other streets.

Everything about the Hotel was great except we had two full size bed and the room was very small. The staff was wonderful, very clean. We plan on staying there again in the very near future.

I had a good one-night stay at this place. Staff was friendly, food was good, room was nice and clean. The one downside I have is that the main corridor that all of the rooms were based on smelled like a bad, nasty combination of smoke and alcohol. It didn't spread to the rooms, but I had to hold my breath each time I needed to be in this corridor.

My only complaint is that the parking is a large one way street and my room was very far from the check in and out service office up front. I missed it on my first drive in. I visited NYC with my family and stayed in this hotel for 2 nights. I could not have not water from the shower bath for 3 days. A little hot water came first and then nothing hot came after that. My son tried to shower, but he eventually got cold after trying to shower with the cold water. I called the front desk many time, but they just said everything's […] OK. My room was at the front door, so I could not sleep at night by many people coming in and out. The air conditioner/heater made so noisy sound, so I turned it off all three days. I liked the Hotel in general but I had to get taxi every time I want to go to nearest bus station ! and there was almost 2 night noise from above neighbor sound like they were dancing all the night and the windows was not open to the fresh air.

The room is Ok, but so small. It is clean and quality of service is good, have continental breakfast every morning. Good coffee at the lobby plus a variety of selection for light breakfast. Hotel is close to New York City for sightseeing and some shopping. We had a good time.

It was a pleasantly surprising hotel. First off it was way moreto affordable than any Manhatten hotel. I was 10minutes away from where I had to be in Manhattan. First of all, it's very easy to miss the entry to this hotel, because it's right off the highway and right around a turn at highway speeds. We were looking for an affordable, safe, clean, quiet hotel convenient to the Bronx Zoo and that is exactly what we found. The free breakfast was a nice touch too. I did not try the fitness center, as that did not fit our schedule, but I plan to do so next time. The parking was free, easy, and close to the room. We hope to return to this hotel.

Although the hotel is dated the cleanliness is very good. The convenience of staying right off the highway, outside NYC, is great. The sound proofing however is lousy so the party next door made for a short night.

This motel is right on Rt 4 without much of an on ramp. So that means you're hitting the driveway at least at 50 mph! Very dangerous! You can't slow down cause you will get rammed in the rear end!
