Really enjoyed the four days we were there. Hotel staff very pleasant and attentive, no complaints at all. We enjoy walking, exploring the locality wherever we visit so the situation of the Zenit was ideal for us.

Friendly and helpful reception staff - even with our 4.45am delayed arrival! The receptionist took time to show us where we needed to go on a map, including other places of interest. This was a very nice hotel. It had separate sections for the bathroom and bedroom. The only issue was that it was too far away from the center of Malaga (maybe a 20 minute walk). Can't complain for the price I paid.

Situated in a traditional Spanish community quite a way back uphill from the front so be aware if walking back. We stayed here only one night on our way to the airport and were sad we hadn't stayed longer. We are a 21 and 22 year old couple, and we stayed at Hotel Zenit in June 2012 for 6 nights. We were thoroughly impressed with all aspects of the hotel. On arrival, the staff were very friendly, helpful (including giving us a map), and accommodating, including of our poor Spanish! The front desk was staffed 24/7, which was useful for any queries etc. […] A taxi from the airport only cost us just over 20 euros, and the hotel arranged the taxi for our return trip. The check-out time was noon, but there is the option of staying until 8pm for another 20 euros if available. We checked out of our room, but there is a facility for leaving your luggage in the hotel. Location - The hotel is situated around a 15 minute walk from the town centre, and around a 25 minute walk from Malagueta, the nearest beach. However, there are lots of shops located on this walk, and there is a supermarket practically next door to the hotel. Transport - Although we did not use the bus, there is a regular service that goes to the town centre, and stops just on the main road near the hotel. A taxi from near the beach only cost us just over 5 euros. Accommodation - The hotel was very good value, and we had a large balcony, as well as air conditioning, a double bed, and a safe deposit box. The bathroom was spacious, and included two sinks. The room and hotel were very nice, as advertised. Initial reception was friendly, cordial, night and morning staff were not friendly, handled our request, but seemed to be a great burden to them. Would stay again for the quality of the hotel and the nice shopping mall next door.

Was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I would stay with this chain of properties again. Staff were helpful and pleasant. The lobby was spotless and the room was comfortable. We did not get an opportunity to try the dining room.

Finding your hotel via bus was ridiculously challenging. We were tired and we managed to get out using Bus A but could not find Bus 1 to your hotel. We must have called 4 times. I know, I was making the desk clerk exasperated. By the time we got there, we realized how far it was from the airport that I had return to the airport next morning to meet […] people for work. The morning desk clerk was cold, distant in behavior. He could have told us that perhaps the breakfast was not included in a nicer manner. I looked up the hotel itinerary and computer and pointed out that he was right, we do not have breakfast included and that was fine, we would pay for it. The hotel was a bit abandoned since we visited in off season. This said, it was perfectly clean, the rooms were a decent size, with a view onto a street the bathrooms were large and the WiFi was free and dast. Only problem was that the hotel is a bit out of the way, being about 25 mins walk down (and returning up) a hill to get the centre - about 7 […] EUR taxi cost. The hotel does not own a parking lot, but has an arrangement with a private park which is literally next door to give parking to hotel guests at a very reasonable rate. Very impressed with this slightly out of the way hotel. It was quite modern and clean but not luxurious. Just what we needed: clean, quiet and friendly. Since we were out exploring Malaga all the time and seldom in our room, we didn't need anything more. Not a large room but had separate hall way to the bathroom, with door inbetween. Within 3 minutes of meat market, grocery store, bakery, cafe, bank and bus stop. Inexpensive buses to anywhere. 20-30 minutes walk to downtown. Felt very safe at all times, everywhere! Only complaint: Stingy with soap. Only got 2 tiny bars in 6 days. Breakfast for 8 euros was very nice. about 10-15 min walk to the Picasso museum and the castle, but there where buses right outside the hotel if you rather not walk. We booked this hotel as we were going on a cruise departing from Malaga in October. The idea was to get somewhere cheap the night before however we were not disappointed with this hotel. We were greeted with a wonderful service at reception and the rooms and hotel was immacualte and really modern. The location is somewhat difficult from the air port […] and sea port however there are lots of important ammenities around the area and we walked to the beach in around 30 mins and the centre in about 15. The hotel did seem a very business like hotel and I obviously wouuld not reccommend this hotel for a week stay or with children as there is no pool and not a holiday hotel but is perfect for a city break or a quick 1 or 2 night stay. The hotel is situated in the Cappucino/Victoria area of Northern Malaga, it is clean and everthing you would expect of a 3* hotel. The staff are helpful and speak English (although receptionist could have smiled more!) I would definately use it again.

Malaga is a very busy place. Always full of people even during late hours. The hotel Zenit is in a little side street and this offers privacy and is a bit sheltered from noise. It is also quite convenient to the central areas, railway station, beach etc by bus. Fare €1.

Difficult to find (took me an hour first time) best route is from the Alcazbar up Calle Victoria. No tea/coffee facilities in room. Parking nearby in secure underground park discounted rate for hotel. Cracking little Cerveceria up the road that majors on fish, walk past the fast food outlets to find it.

Wij vonden dit een zeer prettig hotel. We hadden alleen een kamer geboekt en geen ontbijt. Voor een paar euro heb je een prima ontbijt in de stad. Het ontbijt in het hotel is ook goed overigens. De bussen stoppen om de haverklap om de hoek. Voor € 1,30 rijd je door heel Malaga met de bus. De weg naar de stad is prima te lopen, zo'n 15/20 minuten. Met […] de bus kan ook, 5 minuten. Vanuit het vliegveld kun je ook voor €3 naar het centrum met de Aeropuerto express. Wij hebben alles met het openbaar vervoer gedaan, ook naar de omliggende steden als Ronda, Nerja en Sevilla. Het is allemaal goed geregeld in Malaga en niet duur. Tip: ga naar de Tourist Information bij de haven daar zijn ze erg behulpzaam en spreken goed Engels. Pročitajte više

Trotz relativer zentraler Lage zur Stadtmitte ruhig gelegen ( 10 min Fußweg in die Stadt). Straßenlärm war kaum zu höheren. Zimmer waren sehr schön und sauber . Leider kein deutschsprachige Fernsehsender. Zimmer über dem Eingangsbereich etwas nervig da man die Eingangstüre ständig hörte. Hotel ist nicht unbedingt auf deutschsprachige Hotelgäste ausgerichtet.( […] spanisch oder englisch). Hotelangestellte waren aber sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Würde jederzeit dort wieder buchen. Mi aspettavo di più da Malaga!!! Infatti venendo da Madrid, Granada, Siviglia e poi Cadice, la Linea de la Concepcion e Gibilterra ed ancora Marbella, da Malaga, nome così esotico, mi sarei aspettato meno edifici tipo Tiburtino III di Roma e più edifici Storici. In ogni caso consiglio andare a vedere i Cavalli a Ritmo.
