"Couldn't even see..."
Well, for starters there was no dang lights in the room that worked, except for the outside light of the entrance to the hotel, which was loud and blinding. It was about one-,,eig*ht-!five smackers. The hotel is located in a not nice part of town, with not much going on. They have no parking on site so you have to park 2 blocks away for !tw*enty(fi?ve doll hairs. for 24hs. If you overstay parking by 30mins it is twice that. Make sure to get your parking ticket validated at the hotel. To enter the hotel […] you actually have to go down some stairs and there is no lobby to speak of so it is somewhat cramped. Breakfast consisted of the standard self service machine juices, powdered donuts, toast, eggs and sausages (which did not taste great), waffles etc. Not bad but not great. The room itself was clean and pretty decent. If you can afford it go to a nicer neighborhood unless you are in town to visit the jacob javitts convention center in which the location is ok. Let me start by saying I never write reviews but this hotel room was so dirty I was disgusted, hair in the tub, all over the bed, trash under the desk, dust everywhere...do not stay here. "Adequate place to crash but not for extended stay"
Used the hotel as a place to crash between two very long days. For that purpose it was adequate but obviously nothing special. The room was very cramped but as it was only one night it did not bother me. The problem came in the morning when I had no hot water for the shower. The front desk tried to make it right but was surprised to have it happen at […] all. Great location. Walking distance to transit, times square, grand central station and a host of other touristy spots. My room had no hot water and you had to be extra cautious on shutting your room door otherwise the door would remain open. Only 1 elevator for 15 floors. I think this is a OK hotel because it's good to have nice place near downtown New York, located 5 minutes walking time from Madison Square Garden. Very clean, no bad odors, good service! It was not good at all. The rooms were noisy both from traffic and guests. The lobby was petite. The continental breakfast was good but a bit late. Our room was not available until after 3:30 PM. WiFi was not working. The room was extremely small, difficult walking around the bed. Hot at night. Closet was petite. Bathroom was okay. No room to hang coats. I was only in town for the night and this was a great option-close to the Javits Center and Penn Station and a great deal for mid-town Manhattan. "Comfortable but not too clean"
Good mattress for a good night's sleep, but the room was not clean. Our first room had feces in the toilet and the door was open when we got to the room. The girl at the desk was very nice and accommodating about moving us. When we got to the new room, the trash was still in the baskets, and the toilet did not work at all my husband ended up fixing […] the toilet so we could use it! There was a breakfast included in the price, and it was pretty good; it included sausage, small omelettes, and waffles, along with the usual breakfast foods. All things considered, I would return- parking was free if you arrive late at night. We parked on the street right in front of the hotel. "Very Clean and Comfortable"
I chose the location because it is relatively close to where the BOLT bus drops off. The person at the front desk was helpful, but the only one there, so he was taking calls as well as checking in guests. Our room was on the top (15th) floor, which was fairly quiet, because there were only 4 room on that floor. Weekend breakfast is available until 10:30, […] which is nice. The only drawback was that the hotel only has one elevator, so you can wait for a while. The room was very clean and I found the bed comfortable, though the pillows were small.
