The staff was wonderful we I called the desk at 2 am for a comforter and it was delivered in less than 5 minutes. The room was clean and very nice my children loved it. Our room was located on the first floor which made it convenient for me. I was pleased and will stay there when ever i visit Shreveport, La.

I just wish it was closer to the attractions downtown, but it was a very pleasant, comfortable stay.

Great location and nice staff. rooms were spacious and well maintained. only complaint was no shuttle to casinos as advertised on NYE.

It was pleasant and very conveniently located for our needs, however they state that there is a charge for pets but don't tell you until you check out. Our dog caused NO problems during the stay and yet we were charged $100 for him. That was almost the cost of our room. That was ridiculous and I wouldn't stay here again because of that.

The room was very spacious and clean. However the bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable for me. There were 2 people in my room and not enough wash cloths. When I called for towels I had to go to the front desk to get them myself. When I called to get a razor, you guessed it, I had to go to the front desk to get it myself. The hotel seems to be right […] in/at the Hood. Wasn't close to anything we were there for. The breakfast was Awesome though! Loved that there was a stove, fridge, and microwave even though I didn't get to use them. The first night there, it was impossible to get any sleep. The neighbors above and beside us were in a contest to see who could stomp the loudest, talk the loudest, yell the loudest and make the most noise. The front desk clerk TJ was very hospitable and accomadating. I was there for a funeral and he allowed us to check early so that we could attend the funeral on time. I would definitely recommend and revisit the Residence Inn in Shreveport, LA

We were looking for a nice hotel close to the Shreveport airport that would serve a substantial breakfast/brunch and shuttle us to the airport for our return trip home. We found all that and more in the Residence Inn Shreveport Airport! Our check-in was smooth and we mentioned we needed the shuttle the next morning, and a place to print our boarding […] passes that evening. The clerk mentioned their guest computer"s printer was out of ink, so let us print them out behind the desk at his printer. How kind! The suite was beautiful and immaculate! The kitchen was a full kitchen, equipped with dishes, nice tableware, small and large . The flat screens in both the living room and bedroom were new, and the decor was attractive and inviting. The bedroom, bathroom and vanity areas were spacious and comfortable. We would have liked firmer pillows on the bed, but I realize that is a personal choice. The room temperature was just right once we set the wall thermostat. Finally, the breakfast the next morning was even more than we expected. Far more than a continental fare, it consisted of fresh fruit, yogurt and yogurt parraits, eggs, biscuits, and sausage (which my husband complimented, and he seldom cares for hotel breakfast sausage). Also, waffles with various toppings, pastries, real cooked oatmeal and grits, and lots more. It more than satisfied us for the day of travel including two flights. The shuttle ride took less than 5 minutes in early morning traffic.. The area near the airport, of course was mostly a commercial area with a few other hotels, but honestly, we heard very little noise and rested very well. I booked this for my wife and teenage children who were traveling. My wife was awakened at 4:30 a.m. with bugs biting her feet and ankles. She has sores all over her feet from the bite and is having to use prescription meds to cure them. Don't know if this is what bed bugs do, but they definitely have a problem. We checked in at hotel then went to park. We drove all around the tiny parking lot but it was full. I went back inside to ask if I was missing the rest of the lot and was told that the security gaurd would show me where to park.He walked out and pointed at the fenceline, behind where other cars where parked in actual parking spots. I asked what happens […] if the other cars back out and dont see me parked there, since it wasnt really a parking spot. It was the driving lane for the lot. the guard just said thats a chance you have to take. Then he just walked off. I said to him thats not a chance I should "have to take" but he just ignored me. He was the only unfriendly person in the whole hotel. the rest of the staff was great, superfriendly. the room was great and clean. the breakfast was also great. Hotel is immaculate. Staff is so courteous. Breakfast in really good as is the light evening meal. Hotel is very quiet even when quite full. I would not look anywhere to stay when we return to Shreveport.

This hotel is exceptional, everything about it was nice. Rooms were very spacious and clean, buffet breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel. I booked my reservation online and all I had to do was show my ID when I arrived which was very convienient. The laundry facility was nice and clean, and they even have a basketball court that the kids […] loved. Very close to the airport for those that fly in and out of town. Great restaurants close by. Great Breakfast, comfy room. Didn't use the kitchenette but nice to know we had it should we have needed to use it. One TV in the room didn't work but after disconnecting and reconnecting some wires it worked once again. Will stay here again.

Great hotel...very clean, well maintained, courteous staff, very good breakfast! My only point of contention is that the rooms are not very sound proof. We've stayed here twice and on both occassions the majority of people in rooms around us (left, right, across the hallway, above us) seemed to forget that not not all of the hotels other guest wanted […] to take part in the following activities: stay up all night partying, persistant trips back and forth down the hallways(going out to smoke), repeated travel from room to room (door slamming), putting 10 people in one room drinking and then talk at a level that could be best described as constant yell, or stand in the hallway/doorway and eat out styrofoam containers while discussing what perverse acts you would like to perform . Note: In defense of the hotel these issues are/were not the fault of the hotel or their staff but more a reflection of their clientele. The neighborhood around the hotel is not what I would call "upscale"....in other words lock your car and take valuables with you. Pročitajte više

My wife and I stayed here last weekend and decided to cook our phone in the room using the appliances & stove provided to us by Res. Inn. This room was large for the price as well. Great place to stay for what it costs.
