Athena Hotel - Rim

This is good value and a good standard for a budget hotel.. Entry is down a side street and you have to press a button to gain entry. Then up a small lift to reception on the first floor. Breakfast is fine and I will stay here next time unless I am richer.

This hotel is an ideal base for visiting the sites of Rome. The staff were very friendly and helpful even helped us book tickets on the internet for the Vatican. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Overall for the price, this hotel was good. Close to a train station that is two stops from the central station. The internet worked from my room (though I might've been tapped in to another wifi network). Breakfast was better than any other I've seen in Italy. when i arrived in my room the floor was still dirty from the previous occupants and it looked like mouse droppings and they werent cleaned up the entire time i was there. The top sheet on the bed was covered in cigarette burns and it smelt like someone had been smoking in there everytime i went in. There's diffinitely ups and downs in this hotel. The location is great. It's very close to metro station, the policlinico metro and bologna station. The bus 310 also stop at this hotel that will take you to Termini station. Termini is the main station of Rome. There's a lot of stores and restaurants around the hotels. There's lots of pizzeria, gelati, […] and wine stores around this hotel. This stores are a minute walk to this hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a family own hotel, and provide breakfast everyday from 7-10AM. The bad part of the hotel is the room is very small. The bathroom is very small and hard to move. The air condition does not work. The TV does not work. The room's temperature is very dry. The room has a weird smell and the sheets are dirty. They clean the room everyday, they just don't change the sheets. The hot water always run out. The wall is very thin, you can hear everyone in the other room. You can hear them taking a shower or just using the toilet. In the morning when the guest wake up it gets so loud. The neighborhood is very loud too.. Their no noise insulation in this hotel. The room is rather small, and most disappointingly, the washing basin is in the room! The toilet is making huge noises after flushing. The free network can only available for some rooms. My room is far away from the counter and cannot access in my room. Also, the room has a big awful smell.

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. We were given a triple instead of a double, but the rooms were clean and of decent size. Perfektes Hotel für ein verlängertes Wochenende in Rom, gute Lage in Tiburtina, sehr gute Anbindung, Termini und Tiburtina fußläufig 10 Minuten entfernt, sehr nettes Personal, werde im Frühjahr nochmal hingehen.

Es un hotel barato pero al menos pueden limpiar el cuarto y un aire acondicionado no caeria mal. Esta en un area relativamente centrica pero no habia señal de Wi-Fi y encima la cama es dura como si fuera una prisión, entiendo que por el precio uno no puede pedir mucho pero al menos una habitacion limpia por favor.

In generale, il soggiorno è stato positivo. Buon prezzo per un servizio di media qualità. Il personale è molto gentile e la colazione ottima. L'unico problema è che la stanza era un po' rumosa. Si sentono molto i rumori dalle altre stanze e dal corridoio.

I stayed four nights at Athena Hotel with my co-habitant and four year old son. The hotel was not great. But it was one of the cheapest which fit our requirements. And there were no bad surprises. So for us, it was a good choice: an OK place to sleep, and good value for money.

Till priset vi betalade så är hotellet helt okej. Men jag tycker det ligger för långt bort från centrum. Försök hitta ett hotell på andra sidan Termini.

Qua prijs kwaliteit verhouding niks mis mee. Netjes onderhouden, goed bed douche en toilet op de kamer, ontbijt goed en personeel erg vriendelijk en doen er alles aan er een aangenaam verblijf voor iedereen van te maken

El hotel es un Hotel que no tiene nada cerca, forzosamente se necesita transporte público para llegar y sin duda el hotel en sí es viejo y esta muy descuidado. El personal suele ser amable, excepto alguna persona, pero por el precio, sin duda se puede encontrar algo mucho mejor y más céntrico.
