The hotel is perfect for Sydney Airport. Lovely included breakfast but evening meals are expensive with not a great choice and very little on the plate. If looking for an evening meal best to go to Holiday Inn along the road. Better choice and better value for money.

The hotel was clean as was my room and bathroom. The room was small, but totally fine for an overnight between flights. The breakfast was substantial with a choice of continental or buffet. We could not fault the hotel, except the service at breakfast. When we came down for breakfast, my wife asked what breakfast was available for us and our 4 yr old daughter. Good location. Walking distance from train station. Airport shuttle available.although be aware that morning shuttles can be delayed due to traffic to and for airport. Room adequate for overnight stay.

Convenient to airport but expensive for what it is. We had a room that appeared to have been wheelchair accesible and remodeled to be for the able bodied. Seemed like a waste. The Hotel and our rooms were VERY CLEAN, the quality of the service by the front dest was top notch. The Hotel was located close to the airport so we chose it as we were at the end of a 12 day cruise and needed to rest before making the trip to the Central USA.

Compared to the hotels I have stayed at, my first time stay at the Ibis was very impressive, impeccable service and FREE internet wow, the Crowne Plazas and the Star city Hotel were too mean to offer that . Will definately stay at the Ibis the next time

Would prefer menus and other information in writing. very fiddly to have to navigate tv for information especially when very tired. Girls at front desk very friendly and helpful. More signage would be appreciated for use of downstairs food bar.

people at reception were very helpful. The room was very small-about same size as cabin on cruise ship, but adequate for 2 night stay. Did not eat at restaurant because it was very expensive. It is definitely an economy hotel.

Room was OK as we were staying over due to collecting family arriving at the airport early in the morning. Granted, we booked a budget room. Room was fairly compact (Double bed and a single) which could have been awkward if we had large suitcases and hand luggage with us for an international flight. Vending machine in the hallway had one of the cheapest bottles of soft drink (Coke, Fanta, Water) I've seen in Sydney at $2.60 for a 600ml bottle. You'd expect to get ripped off, but no. The Ibis was surprisingly good value for money. They could use a little more staff on the front desk and another elevator, but the room was immaculate and had all the necessities.

Enjoyed the stay. Had everything I wanted. Didn't like having to pay $6.00 for the shuttle. They're close enough to the airport they should have a free shuttle. Internet was pricey, but that seems to by typical for Australia.

Suited our needs very well. We had a flight into Sydney airport in the evening and an early flight out next day. We found the room clean, comfortable but a little small. It was a short walk to shops and short taxi ride to the airport the next morning. The shuttle bus does not provide transport for early plane departures. The staff at the desk were friendly and helpful with all our enquires.

hotel room was adequate for overnight stays (we had 2 separate stays). Restaurant was WAY overpriced! Would NOT recommend going to the restaurant - would be less expensive to get a taxi to a nearby suburban restaurant.

We stayed at the airport Ibis prior to flying out early the next morning. We were forced to eat in the area of the airport as we could not get a shuttle to the airport after 6.30.p.m. - we had planned to have the day in Sydney and then go to the hotel. The only meal offered by the hotel was an expensive buffet. There were no snack options or a la carte […] options. We were told this was an experiment which we felt was a money making ploy as the only other possible food available in the area was by walking to another hotel (Holiday Inn) along a busy road. This hotel did offer snacks and an a la carte menu at a reasonable price. Very few people would feel comfortable doing that walk. Despite being told that it was easy to walk between the airport and the hotel, this is not the case. There is also a charge for the hotel shuttle to the airport, an infrequent shuttle service that is slow (over 30 minutes) as it calls at other hotels and termini on the way and a very disconcerting system like a closed shop operating between shuttle operators so that each one's territory is closely guarded and customers have no choice and can be caught in the flak between the rival operators.
