National Hotel - Frankfurt na Majni

We stayed in 8 places while on a 13 day trip through Germany and 2-days in Austria. Of those 8 places we would rank this one number 6. A very large and spacious room (easily the largest we saw in Europe), with classic/antique furnishings and décor. A decently comfortable bed, and a useful refrigerator. The Hotel National is located almost in front of the main train station in Frankfurt. Which is very convinient because you can find everything at that station: Banks, car rental agencies, food etc. Even though it is at 10 min. walk from Downtown, you need to pass through a bad part of the city. This is a very run down, poorly managed hotel. Why was this hotel even given stars? The only good thing about this hotel is the proximity to the train station.

No A/C, and poorly ventilated room led to an awful nights sleep. look for another hotel.

Free internet, a veritable smorgasbord for breakfast, and an incredibly convenient location make this hotel hard NOT to recommend--but our room was on the street side, and was incredibly loud. Without earplugs, it would have been unsuitable. Beds a bit soft. Hotel staff was efficient and courteous.

We loved this hotel - the room was huge and beautiful, but it was at least a 15 minute walk to downtown Frankfurt. Totally worth the walk! Take the route around the river!

Room was ok, but not happy at all by the lack of AC, I could not be in the room durnig the day as it was very hot and humid inside, and had to open the winows at night to be able to sleep. The supplied fan did not help.

We came to this hotel in July 2010 during an unusual heat wave. None of the rooms or other areas are air conditioned and even with the windows open and fans, it was uncomfortable at night. When we searched for rooms we looked for 4 or 5 star rated properties only. I don't think this would ever be a 4 star rated property. If the weather would have been cooler and there was not construction going on right outside my window, it would have been an adequate place to stay for a no frills, inexpensive hotel. The hotel is next to the train station, making it easy to catch the ubahn our Sbahn. It is about a twenty minute walk to the City Centre. Arrived on Saturday, and even though it was world cup soccer, the restaurant and bar were closed. The rooms are nice, but as usual no AC. For the price we paid I would stay there again on my next trip.

After staying at a few different hotels near the Frankfurt Hbf I expected more luxuary from a hotel with this high of price. I found the room basic and small. It was clean, safe, and the staff excellent I just think it was a bit over priced.

This was agood room for the money and the staff was very nice. They had a good breakfast buffet and they were very close to the main train station and really everything in Frankfurt. I felt really safe at this hotel and everything ran very smooth. He even let us drop our luggage off until our room was ready.

The hotel is VERY near the train station and a 15 minute walk to the heart of Frankfurt. I only booked one night at the hotel, but ended up staying 3. We usually stay at Hiltons, Marriots, Four Seasons, etc. This was the only place which had rooms and which was near the train station. I was VERY impressed. Extremely clean and nice hotel. The staff was very polite and helpful. And the price cannot beat.

The hotel is located very near the main Train Station and is very easy to get to from the Airport. A good range and variety of Resturants are nearby and the River walks are only 2 blocks away. The hotel has been recently refurbished and is very clean and comfortable.

Bra läge nära Centralstationen och två tågstationer från mässan. Hotellet börjar dock bli väldigt slitet samt att det märks att storhetsdagarna är förbi. Ingen service i baren eller restaurangen förutom under frukosten. Rekommenderas att man bokar garanterat rök-fritt om man problem med allergi.

チェックイン後気が付いた。 １）トイレットペーパーが残りわずか、予備がない。 ２）衣文掛けがない。 ３）セフティボックスの操作説明書がない。 フロントに要求したら、１）以外はマネージャがいないから翌日まで対応できない。って、翌朝はチェックアウトですよ！！ １）は持っていくと言っておきながら放置。仕方ないからロビーのトイレから自分で持ってきました。 という感じのホテルです。 場所は駅から数分でかなり便利だし、フロントで教えてくれたレストランも結構リーズナブルで好評だった。 やはりハウスキーピングが残念です。

La camera (124) è molto ampia, dal soffitto alto, molto luminosa, pulitissima, con bagno con vasca. Arredi eleganti anche se un po' datati. Le finestre isolano perfettamente dal grande traffico sottostante. La hall si presenta invece un po' vecchiotta. La posizione, a 50 mt dalla stazione centrale, vicinissima alla strada dove parte/arriva il pullman […] per/da aeroporto di Hahn della linea Bohr, è veramente ottima. Nel prezzo non era inclusa la colazione ma a Francoforte non mancano posti dove farla..! Service ist gut, Mitarbeiter freundlich, Fruehstueck reichlich (wenn auch nicht im Preis enthalten), Das Hotel an sich koennte eine Renovierung vertragen - alles funktioniert und ist sauber, man sieht das Alter des Mobiliars, der Teppiche, Lampen etc aber trotzdem. 駅前周辺は移民街のような雰囲気で、浮浪者もいて、女性１人で歩くのは少し怖い気がしましたが、週末でも人通りは多かったです。地下鉄Uバーンや近郊電車Sバーンが乗り入れている中央駅のすぐ近くなので、どこへ行くのも便利でした。ただ、WIFIは有料（12時間5ユーロ）と言われましたが、接続の機械が壊れていて結局使えませんでした。インターネットが無料で使えるPCが２台フロントに置いてあり、自由に使うことができましたが、残念ながら日本語は文字化けしてみることができませんでした。

Personalen behöver lära sig vett och etikett. Tex när "bartendern" står och röker i baren (fast det inte är tillåtet) upptagen att snacka med kompisar mer än att ge god service. Mycket skumt hotel, bra på ytan men väldigt opersonlig under.

Das Hotel National in Frankfurt liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Bahnhofs - sehr bequem für Reisende mit der Bahn. Es ist sauber und ruhig.

酒店位置好，离火车站很近，购物、吃饭都很方便。房间的环境和设施都很不错，在欧洲以这样的价格入住这么好的酒店，是很难得的。

Hotel mit guter Lage. Zimmer sauber, jedoch Schimmel in der Badewanne. Von der ganzen Ausstattung her ist das für mich ein 3-Sterne und kein 4-Sterne Hotel. Service war nett.

Hotel located very close to Frankfurt central station. It's only couple of minutes walk. The area feels a little rough, but is convenient. o hotel fica quase em frente a estaçao central de trem, e proximo ao rio, que é um lugar legal pra passear. mas a vizinhança nao é boa, um pouco perigosa (para os padroes alemaes), carece de bons restaurantes, mas é so pegar o metro e ir pra um lugar melhor.
