"Ugodan boravak u blizini velikih znamenitosti"
Recenziju je napisao Hotels.com gost sij 15, 2013Velika prednost hotela je da se nalazi u neposrednoj blizini velikih znamenitosti: Plava džamija, Aja Sofija, Cisterna, i ostalo. Hotel nije neki glamurozan u pogledu vanjskog izgleda, ali je boravak u njemu jako ugodan jer stvara ozračje obiteljske kuće. Noću je mirno, u okolici nema buke. Osoblje je jako srdačno i na visokoj razini profesionalnosti. Posebice su ljudi na recepciji jako ljubazni i izlaze odmah u susret kad tražite neku informaciju o gradu. Sobe su čiste; hrana u restoranu dobra. Budući da smo supruga i ja proveli samo četiri dana nisam dospio koristiti sve hotelske sadržaje. Ja bih svakako rado ponovo boravi u hotelu "Arena".

"Unforgettable"
I will never forget my stay at the Ritz Carlton Istanbul. The service and hospitality were beyond outstanding. From the moment I entered the hotel, I felt like I was the only one they had to service. They anticipated and met my every need. For example, I was concerned about getting money from the ATM and the young lady who greeted me at checkout, said, […] "I will go with you and make sure you don't have any problem." Everyone was pleasant all the time, and always greeted you with a smile. Every experience had a touch of class. Music in the Bleu Lounge was outstanding. I went there three nights. Service there was impeccable. I used the Fitness Center. It was great. They had apples and water for you. Concierge assisted in planning your day. The view from the lounge of the Bosphorus Strait was majestic. Breakfast was lavish. I needed the internet access daily. It is included with the room. Room service is excellent. Bottled water is provided each day.The boutiques are wonderful. No pressure to buy, but, I did. Amenities are a bit expensive. But, worth it. After all, it is the Ritz. It has a unique personality. "The Ritz Carlton - Simply the best."
I was fortunate to have a club room, it overlooked the Beşiktaş football ground, further beyond that view I could see the nearby town area, a few illuminated mosques, and best of all a beautiful view of the Bosphorus sea and the illuminated suspension bridges that stretch across it. Having said that the room was marvelous, clean, tidy, beautifully lit […] and practical. I also had the pleasure of a concierge on this floor (12th) as well as a club lounge, with complimentary drinks and snacks. Wifi was FREE!!!!! I could also have breakfast on this floor. I was only there for one night, so this was absolutely ideal for me, I am sometimes so tired coming in from the client after a hard days work I do not have time to go and work out in the gym or enjoy the pool or the shopping, but this was ideal. "Same quality and service as the Ritz in NYC."
This was the best hotel I've ever experienced. Staying on one of the "Club Floors" is what made the experience memorable. The top floors of the hotel have their own concierge staff devoted to the guests of those floors. They all speak English quite well, they knew me by name after the first day, they'll make dinner reservations off-site for guests (helpful […] if you do not speak Turkish), suggest sites to visit, and they will do anything to make your stay comfortable. The entire staff was helpful, but I'd be remiss not to thank Gohken, Baras, and Surken specifically. If you seek them out, I'm sure they provide all guests with the same exemplary quality of service I received. The rooms are spacious, including the bathrooms. They are modern, well constructed, and comfortable. The partial view of the Bosphorous may be seen in the posted picture. I stayed on the 12th floor and took the picture from my room. There is an outdoor pool with 3 whirlpools and a service bar. It is a great place to take in some sun and an afternoon nap. At night, the hotel's Bleu Bar is a great place to take in live, mellow, acoustic music. Finally, I liked that the hotel had taxis on site. The taxis are not owned by the hotel, but they allow a few cabs to park on site. The bell hops will communicate your destination to the driver for you before you depart. The drivers will also provide you with trustworthy service since they do not want to lose their privilege to park at the hotel and transport guests. As usual the Ritz delivered. The entire property is immaculate. I had the standard park view room. It was perfect. Short and manageable walk to all the sights and action of Taksim in one direction . The staff was extraordinary. A tip of the hat to the HR department there. They are hiring employees who exhibit exemplary customer service skills and wonderful […] attitudes. Special thanks to Ugur, quite simply the most helpful and courteous hotel employee I have ever encountered. This young man is a real pro! He exceeded my expectations in every way. "A wonderful hotel with perfect service and one CD"
The Ritz Carlton is, from the outside, probably the most ugly hotel in town. A massive block with absolutely no charm. But once you step inside, it is a transformed world: a beautiful hotel, grand public spaces, nice rooms, a great spa. The staff are so friendly, most helpful, and knowledgeable. Service is perfect. Breakfast is varied and delicious. […] So what are the drawbacks? A few things give it a 4.5 rather than a 5 rating: No outside space (or at least nothing open in April, which is disappointing as it was warm); everything is a bit dated; the hotel is not easy to reach by taxi, but the end of the T1 tramline is a plus. The one thing that was awful was the music played in the breakfast / dining room. The speakersystem was designed for a provincial antalyan railwaystation and the hotel management ought to consider investing in a second CD. Otherwise everything was wonderful. "excellent hotel but expensive"

"5 Sternehaus mit tollem Blick"
Ein sehr gepflegtes, gutes 5 Sterne-Haus mit allem zu erwartendem Komfort. Die Lage am Bosporus ist fantastisch bei Zimmern mit vollem oder teilweisem Bosporusblick - dafür muss man zum Sightseeing mit dem Taxi fahren (bei den Preisen in Istanbul aber kein Problem). Schönes ruhiges Zimmer mit neuem ansprechend gestaltetem Bad (Dusche und Wanne) - Toilette […] durch Türe vom Bad getrennt. Das Personal war ausnahmslos sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich und gastorientiert! Insgesamt ein tolles Haus, das wir auch bei unserem nächsten Istanbulbesuch wieder nutzen werden! Passar bra om du vill att hotellet ska hjälpa dig med allt, väldigt god service vilket man också bör förvänta sig på denna klass av hotell. Spa som hade det mesta ingick. Sehr gutes Luxushotel mit herausragend freundlichem Personal Zimmer mit Blick auf den Bosporus überteuert, lieber Zimmer mit Blick auf die Innenstadt wählen und dann 5 Minuten den Hügel hinabgehen und den Mokka direkt am Bosporus genießen Frühstück fantastisch inklusive Blick in die aufgehende Sonne über dem Bosporus Das Zimmer waren gegen 13.00 […] zu Mittagszeit noch nicht gemacht Die Lage hat sich im Nachhinein als ideal herausgestellt. 5 Minuten vom Hotel liegt die Tram-End-Haltestelle Kabatash. Einen Jeton zu 2 Lira am Automaten besorgen und mit der erstklassig sauberen Tram direkt zu allen wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten fahren. Ist einem Ritz Carlton nicht angemessen. Sauberes Hotel und freundlicher, leicht chaotischer Service. Grosser Indoor Pool. Spa in Ordnung. Lage in Ordnung. Das saubere aber phantasielose Essen auf der Club Etage und im Restaurant ist leider nur auf dem Niveau eines 2-3 Sterne Hotels. Für diese Hotelkategorie unverständlich einfach. Insbesondere das […] Frühstück ist nicht akzeptabel, sowohl auf Club Level als auch im Frühstücksrestaurant. Gebuchter Transfer durch das Hotel war inakzeptabel. Eine grosse und teure S-Klasse wurde gerne berechnet und bestätigt, da wir viel Gepäck hatten. Am Abreisetag stand zuerst nur ein Taxi zur Verfügung und nach meiner Reklamation wurde zumindest eine kleine Limousine geholt. All dieser Stress wegen mangelnder Koordination des Concierge im Club. Unglaublich für ein Ritz Carlton, von denen ich schon viele besucht habe. Keine Rückvergütung des zuviel bezahlten Geldes. Keine Verabschiedung wie sonst üblich. "In Istanbul braucht man ein Hochhaushotel und genießt einen extrem Rundumblick"
Wir haben eine Hochhaushotel gewählt um einen Rundblick über die Stadt, bzw. den Bosperus zu haben und es hat sich extrem ausgezahlt. Nicht nur die Zimmer waren sehr komfortabel, sehr gut ausgestattet und in jedem Bereich hygienisch sauber. Auch der Spa Bereich war selten gut und sauber. Der Pool(morgens um 9 Uhr leer) war für einen Hotelpool sehr groß […] und uneingeschränkt sauber und komfortabel.Die Massagen herrlich und sher zu empfehlen auch noch um 21 Uhr!! Das Frühstück im Clubbereich ließ allerdings etwas zu wünschen übrig. Das Personal schien überfordert und das Angebot dem übrigen Stil des Hauses nicht angemessen.Vielleicht muss man auch als deutscher Gast gelassener sein. Sämtliches Personal des Hauses ansonsten sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich, diskret und professionell.Wir würden uneingeschränkt wieder buchen. Bei der Abreise standen 3 Angestellte am Taxi und winkten uns nach!!Gute Wünsche begleiteten uns und wir fühlten uns willkommen und gern gesehen-was nichts mit der Höhe des Trinkgeldes zu tun hatte. Wir haben die Stadt nach 4 Tagen mit dem Gefühl verlassen ein rundes Wochenende verbracht zu haben. Da Taxen sehr günstig sind (nicht jeder Taxifahrer versteht Englisch bzw. kennt das Hotel!!) spielten Entfernungen für uns keine Rolle.Während der Fahrt gibts durchaus was zu sehen!!Immer wieder Istanbul!
