I enjoyed my stay here. The staff were always willing to help. I had to call several times to get directions because I got lost going from one place to another. "FRESH, CLEAN, AND A WELCOME SURPRISE!"
Wow! What can I say? Our weekend long stay was amazing! Check in was quick and upon entering our room the fresh clean smell and condition of the room was so pleasant. My husband even commented on the scent. I expected to find something wrong with the room or the continental breakfast. What a surprise to find both more than met my expectations! "Perfect location for the area"
The service was good and the staff was friendly. The building could use some upgrades. The office closes at night and there was a leak in the bathroom which couldn't be addressed so we had to put a towel on the floor so our feet would get wet. Overall a nice place for the money. "The room"
The staff was very nice and friendly. The room was very clean, but small. The bathroom was clean and it was almost as big as the room. I did have trouble with the shower and I report it and it was taken care of. I stay in a lot of hotel all over the world and for a small town it was very nice. "HORRIBLE!"
You are better off sleeping in your car! We unfortunately spent Christmas at the Jameson Hotel, because my husbands family lives in Laurinburg, NC. When we arrived on Christmas Eve, the person who checked us in was Rude. Then we went on to our room, where I found that the toilet was stopped up and there was "stuff" floating around in it. So for the […] entire duration of our stay, we had to go to the restaurant next store to use the restroom, since the person at the front desk told us there were no other rooms available ( We were 1 of only 2 cars parked at the hotel ). The only positive thing about the hotel was the bed. It was super comfy and I got a really good night's sleep. But I will never stay there again. "Avoid this one"
Stayed here one night on our way to Myrtle Beach. Upon entering room it had an over-bearing smell of floral air freshener. Smell never went away. So strong it made me sick during the night. I was not impressed. My key had to be reset each day I was there. I had to request soap for my room. My room was supposed to be smoke-free, but the furniture reeked of cigarettes. There were burn-holes on the blankets. The housekeeping staff didn't clean my room at all while I was there. The toilet was dirty. And there were people yelling and playing […] loud music until around 1:30 a.m. each night. They did have free wireless internet.
