Great hotel with fantastic facilities. Great poolside bar. Superb service. Only downside was slow internet connection in room.

The hotel is well located overlooking the touristic bay area with many restaurants and caffees and close to down town and shopping centers ( Beirut Souks). It is close to take nice walk along the sea side.The front desk staff was helpful and courteous.

I have no regrets in choosing this hotel for my stay in Beirut. Firstly, if you are unsure of whether to go to Beirut, then do not hesitate. You will be surprised. It is an amazing cosmopolitan Mediterranean city. The people, food and places are some of the best. The hotel itself is one of the best in Beirut. You will not regret staying here.

The hotel and staff were great! The only thing that we didn't like was the location of the outdoor pool. It's surrounded by buildings on 3 sides so it only sees the sun for about 2 hours all day which made the water ice cold. Other than that, we were very pleased with our stay and would definitely return for a second stay!

My husband and I loved the Phoencia Hotel. It is truly the Grand Dame of Beirut. The staff was so lovely and very friendly to us. The consigre was extremely helpful with scheduling our time. The service in this hotel is most disappointing. Our room had not been properly prepared so the mini bar had not been restocked, all the information on the hotel was hidden in a drawer, there were no slippers and only one of everything (as if only one person had checked in). In spite of constantly informing front desk the inconsistencies continued for […] the entire week .... no fruit on occasion, on others fruit but no cutlery with which to eat it (except on the final evening), no breakfast menu to hang on the door so that we might have breakfast in the room in the morning, no pen, the complimentary refreshment tray was not replenished and when I asked for two tea bags was told that the hotel did not allow the maids to distribute them, the lavaotry paper holder broke and was just left on the floor, likewise the rubber padding in the door lintel became unattached and was left like that for the entire week etc. In addition, I returned from a tour absolutely drenched and very cold and wanted to have a pot of tea in the casual dining restaurant, the Mosaic. I was accosted by the restaurant's manager from behind and asked what I wanted. Frankly, I have had better service in a 3 star hotel and would not wish to return in a hurry. Pročitajte više

excellent hotel,the only thing which I dont like they dont give the suitable room to expedia travellers,even there was an availabilty. But after negotiating with supervisor cauze of the noise from construction they accept to change the room.

The location and service at this hotel is excellent. It's hard to find a decent hotel in Beirut, especially near downtown or the American University. The only downside? The price. While not exorbitant (nor out of line with the competition) it is steep. The problem is that most of the other "five star" hotels in Beirut are quite dumpy.

Excellent hôtel, très bon service, très belle chambre. Un bémol uniquement, j'ai demandé que l'on m'installe une chaise à l'extérieur alors que la piscine extérieure était fermée, cela n'a jamais été possible...

Très bon hotel pour professionnel. Partie spa/piscine de grande classe avec de bon équipements, a conseiller pour une détente après une longue journée de travail. Le petit moins: l'accès au bord de mer est mal-aisé avec une sorte de semi-autoroute a traverser et pas vraiment de passage "safe".

I spent 4 days in InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut and it was simply a dream !!! The location, service, SPA, restaurants and BREAKFAST were the top of the top!!!! I cannot think about something could be improve it. I will come back for sure.
