The hotel was clean, comfortable, and quiet other than being somewhat close to a railroad. Trains went by several times and although not all that loud they were noticeable. We chose this hotel because we could get a king size bed. We were given 2 doubles. It was our 35th wedding anniversary........The heat was not turned on so was freezing in the room. We did not get the heat regulated until 1 AM and adjusting it 4 different times. When checking in the 2 employee's spent more time talking to each other than to us. Every […] where you smell smoke. When I looked for a hotel in Le Mars, the highest number of stars offered was 2 1/2. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the Baymont Inn was very comfortable and clean, and the staff are some of the nicest, most helpful I've encountered.
