Very close to the night clubs shopping and beaches motel was old but clean no maid service on Sundays but liked my stay nice pools right around the corner was ft lauderdale beach enjoyed my two day stay and good for the money walking distance to nightclubs and restaurants and shopping

The motel is absolutely nothing to brag about but if you are a beach bunny and want to spend a lot of time on the beach, you can't beat it for the money. It compared well to the looks of other properties of its kind in the area. Paradise is a great hotel. The room was ready ahead if time and both check in and checkout where easier than 1st grade spelling bee. No boisterous young people, just older ones looking to relax. Love,love,love !!

Service horrible rooms amazing if you stay here don't expect the owner to help at all or be blown away by customer service. Me and my buddy waited for a half hour before we could even check in. However the room was amazing. Definitely a more family oriented hotel.

I had no fear of locking myself out... The lock on room door appeared to be accessible with the use of a common a pocket comb or other simple picking device... or the window that would not close in the bathroom was also an alternate entry option if preferred. Upon first entry into my room my eyes met with a pet gecko but his feet had individually been […] crushed to the floor so he remained upright and apparently starved to death.. the futon could be set upright when put against a wall. The TV worked but the remote was just for there for looks. Clock radio did not receive stations but was sure to wake you up with it's loud hum. Walls were thin... but air-conditioner helped cover neighbor noise... Room had a nice "NON SMOKING" sign on the door, however the smoking area on the other side of my air-conditioner pumped plenty of second-hand fumes into my indoor atmosphere throughout my stay . Maid Service was not overwhelming... sheets were changed once or twice in 8-day period. "Provided Toiletries" means "a bar of soap". The grill allowed me to cook a Steak by the pool in 1.5 hours. (Only takes 45 mins if you like them rare) Pool was probably heated to something below the current air temperature. Parking was available and still provided room for a small person to gain access to the vehicle while parked. Otherwise... my stay was quite lovely. Super cheap but in decent shape and really near the center of a resort area, Lauderdale-by-the-Sea. We always walked when we went there. A little shabby on the outside but everything inside was clean and several items were new, like the refrigerator, bedspreads, TV, lots of outlets. Door lock was pathetic so we brought our valuables with us.

The hotel was very run down...the rooms haven't been updated since the 1960,s....no coffee provided in the room, although there were coffee makers...i as only there for 2 days...and the electricity was out twice!!! also, there are people that LIVE there...they sit out by the pool most nights & drink & carry on very loudly.. i would def NOT stay there […] again...only 2 towels in the room...no cleaning was done... Our stay was perfect, well equipped kitchen satisfied our needs with children, sea was round the corner and the pool in the hotel was kept clean even if the weather was not for long swimming. The clammy and unwashed floor was the only problem of the room, but once cleaned it was OK. The price is excellent regarding the room.

The place looks alright from the outside but inside it is a different story. Besides the tiled floor everything else is old and outdated - a kitchen with old cupboards a few times painted over and a pink bathroom with chipped porcelane and faucets one is afraid to touch. The rooms were clean, the availability of a full kitchen and dining (must be requested) OR available fridge and microwave were tremendous assets. If you are looking for outstanding quality, then this is NOT the place, but it is comfortable, clean and convenient to the beach. The pools are nice also.

The sink in my room didn't drain which I only discovered after I started brushing my teeth so that was kinda gnarly. Then, the toilet seat was broken so when I put it down it fell onto the floor. The chair for the desk also had some suspect stains on it. At least the WiFi worked well! Will not be staying there again though.

It is what you pay for. Some of the reviews scared me, but I got to say, I was pleased with what I paid for, and the cleanliness of our room (for a motel). We brought our own sheets because of the reviews we saw about the dirty sheets/comforter. Those reviews were true, but with our own clean sheets, our stay was made more pleasing. The room overall […] was clean and spacious with a great AC unit that made it comfortable sleeping. The polish lady who cleans the rooms was by far the sweetest house keeper ever! She called us "beautiful girls" everyday and always asked if we needed anything. Her service was by far the best ive ever experienced on a vacation. The hotel in general looks rather "dumpy," but it's homey and relaxing. You can mingle with all the people staying there by cooking out and hanging out by the pool. Everyone was so friendly...it almost seemed like I was in a college dormatory MINUS the craziness of college kids. I would recommend this motel to anyone looking for a place to crash/sleep...not for someone who is looking to spend all day in the room. The location was great. We walked everyday to Lauderdale by the sea for lunch/dinner, and Burger-Fi #THE BEST BURGERS EVER!# was so close to walk to. For a cheap place you can't beat this place! ENJOY! Pročitajte više

We stayed at Paradise by the Sea for three nights in July. There is a sign immediately upon entering the office that states "No refunds." This should be a clue. First, a few positives: the location is within walking distance to the beach, there are two pools, both rooms had ample hangers, there was liquid dish soap in both kitchenettes, both refrigerators […] appeared new and kept items cold, and the iron worked well. Negatives: the first room we stayed in had a large gap above the door where the door did not meet the frame and did not seal properly. We heard a great deal of road noise as well as music coming from the pool area in the morning. The bathroom had hair in the sink, toilet, and shower. The toilet was dreadfully loud when flushed. Water damage was visible in the bathroom. There was purple something spilled on the stove top that had not been cleaned up. Numerous cables were exposed and would have been hazardous to a toddler if we had been traveling with children. The AC unit was very noisy and woke us up throughout the night with a clicking noise. The next morning, we asked to switch rooms, hoping for a more positive experience. The owners accommodated our request to switch rooms. The second room was a little cleaner, and the AC unit was newer and quieter. There was still a lot of road noise, and the showerhead was nearly non-existent. Please see accompanying pictures. Hotel desk personal was very rude. Asked for extra towels (only 2 in the room for 4 of us) and was berated about not taking them in near the postage stamp pool or ocean. Didn't plan to do that and the gentleman who was next to me asking for more towels freely admitted that they had taken their towels to the beach. We were there on a weekend and were […] told that there was no cleaning service available on the weekend, therefore no new towels or cleaning of the floor. We were on the 2nd floor and the room had ceramic tiles on the floor, very dangerous for toddlers. We realized we put for 1 occupant instead of 2. So my husband went to check in and the lady at the desk told him that he would have to pay extra for me to stay there since we only put one person occupancy. My husband was very confused and she kept saying there are no visitors allowed. We explained to her that we made a mistake on the reservation by […] putting one person instead of two but she insisted we pay extra. So my husband said we would like to just cancel it. She said we would have to go through hotels.com and cancel through them. So we called hotels.com customer service and explained what happened. Hotels.com rep then called the hotel to ask them why they were trying to charge us extra. Hotels.com said there is a two person minimum at no extra charge and that the lady at the front desk should not of tried to charge us extra. The lady at the front desk told hotels.com rep that we showed up with 6 people drunk and didn't want to pay extra for those people. She then proceeded to get irate with the hotels.com rep and ended up hanging up on her. Well, the lovely hotels.com rep ended up giving us a full refund! Be very careful with this place. Our friends found a roach in their room. That blew it for me. First time throigh the week before it was cute but that was ruined with the roach. also thought it was much closer to the airport, spent $250 on cabs altogether for our layover stay to st maarten, one night on the way there and one on the way back.
