Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville / Ponte Vedra - Ponte Vedra Beach

Wonderful staff and hotel. Terrific sports bar , Mulligan's, right next door. Food was excellent, as was the beer and drinks. Waitresses were all great.

Bed was like a rock, couch was very stiff and uncomfortable Room layout was great Would only give the room a 3 ½ maybe 4 stars Overall hotel was a 4 star

Very nice neighborhood surrounded by a lot of green ,liked very much the location and definetely would return. Found very convenient the space we had with the living room ,the desk , TV etc..,separate from the main room with a queen bed and excellent pillows by the way

We were in Florida for a family reunion. This hotel worked perfectly. We were close to the reunion location and also close to St Augustine for site seeing. There are some excellent restaurants close by. The hotel staff was very,very good.

I was very impressed with the room itself. the bed was very comfortable & the bed linen didn't have that weird "hotel smell". I also liked that there were plenty of towels provided. the down comforter was very nice and the down pillows were a plus. the in-room coffee was a nice touch although 2 packs of sugar & 2 creamers seemed a little stingy and […] i had to call twice for more creamer and sugar. the only downside was parking~half the parking lot was blocked off due to some construction & parking was very scarce. would definitely stay again (& hopefully the parking situation will be remedied by then!). Great location. Close to everything. We went to Ponte vedra concert hall and beach and st. Augustine. The restaurant Mulligans was great. Outstanding food and service. I reccomend getting the breakfast with the room. Way worth it. It would cost you 12$/person if you didn't do the breakfast deal when reserving. This was a great place, staff was so friendly and helpful. HUGE problems was that my husband needed an outlet somewhat close to the bed for his medical CPAP machine; and there wasn't an outlet within 20 ft, so he had to go without the CPAP for the night, which is a real problem.

A pleasant well maintained no frills hotel. Very well positioned for golfers playing the TPC at Sawgrass and other area courses. Easy access to restaurants etc in Ponte Vedra and Jacksonville Beach.

The hotel was very quaint, and in a great location! We had a king suite, so it had a seperate living/sitting area. The room was clean, well stocked with toiletries and towels, and very roomy. The bed slept wonderfully! One of the best hotel beds my husband and I have ever slept on! The bathroom was spacious and had plenty of countertop space. The bedroom had a door to close it off from the rest of the suite - which was nice so I could sleep in while my hubby watched TV in the sitting room. The hotel was OK. A little older than other HI Expresses I've stayed in. Cookies were superb but they were often out of them:( Maids were hard working and did a good job. Breakfast buffet let you order from the cook too so one could get omeletes etc.

I enjoyed my four-day stay at the Ponte Vedra Beach Hilton Garden Inn. That said, it wasn't as good an experience as in the past. My complaints: continual freezing and pixelation of the TV image (apparently a power drop two weeks before was still causing problems), an unexpected and expensive charge for breakfast (free breakfast for Thanksgiving, that […] didn't carry over to the weekend--and didn't distinguish between continental and American-style items), selling out of Saturday NY Times, and annoying TV choices in the breakfast room (that couldn't be changed by the staff). Got in late, past midnight. At check-in upgraded from 2 Queen to King Bedroom suite. Huge sitting area with wet bar and very large bedroom. Had to get up early the next am, breakfast was not open yet, so Manager gave me coupon for 2 free drinks at Mulligan's pub. Matresses are very uncomfortable. They are some strange adjustable memory foam type mattress. I woke up both nights with a horrible back ache and the matresses are very hot. I did not sleep well at all either night that I stayed at this Hilton Garden. I am very pleased with all other aspects of this hotel.

Hotel was clean. Breakfast was not included, but at $8.95 each was very reasonable. Food was decent. Situated on the south end of the beaches the location was quiet yet just a short drive into the action. There's a Publix supermarket next to the hotel which seemed to be located in a nice area of the town. Also a cafe next to the hotel if you're not […] up in time for the 11am breakfast deadline. Minor criticisms - walls are paper thin - to the point I had to knock on the room next door at 2am and ask them to be quiet cos we could hear every word they said. Secondly, the curtains don't close, which is just bizarre. Thirdly, offer advertised in elevator for two free cinema tickets to Brave if you stayed a weekend night. I asked twice about this in reception and got fobbed off both times. Still waiting on someone contacting me about it, as they promised. Hotel was clean and well maintained. I sat at the pool for a few minutes and maintainence came and tested the water. Very busy week since the TCP Championship was going on but it did not impact the service at the hotel.
