Marriott can still keeping the brand of its service and comfortable and tidy bedding. However, the mattress in the room of this particular hotel in Melbourne is too soft. Overall this hotel seems below the grade.But overall it is still acceptable.

The hotel worked really well for a family. Staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable. The indoor pool was fantastic for the kids.

Top staff, helpful, efficient & knowledgeable. Room was absolutely wonderful - beautifully designed & well set out with work area, plenty of seating & loads of space - luxury! Walk to the theatres, main shopping precinct, Royal Exhibition Centre & Museum. Great coffee spots in surrounding lanes & well patronised restaurants next door. the only problem we had was when we arrived we were told that the two children that we had booked for had not been included in the booking. We had to return 2 hours later when a room was made available.

Good location and very large comfortable rooms - plus free champagne on arrival!

All the hotel staff we came into contact with were friendly, helpful, prompt in providing service and focused on making our short stay enjoyable. The room was comfortable, well appointed and with quiet air conditioning. We would recommend the hotel to someone staying in Melbourne. The Marriott's staff were very firendly and helpful. Great location, easy walk to CBD, resturants, tennis etc. Only disappointment request twin beds and one was a fold out divan very uncomfortable. would stay again.

We overnighted in Melbourne before departure for the US from the Airport. My wife and daughter were travelling with me. There was a question as to why a second credit card was needed at check in since the room had been prepaid on Amex. We were told it was for additional charges, if any. We had a 2 double bed room and unfortunately the matress on the […] bed my wife and I slept on was substandard i.e., not firm at all. My daughter didn't have any comment on her matress. Breakfast was included with the room and was excellent as I have come to expect with the Marriott. Overall this was a nice hotel; we arrived early in the morning after travelling over 23 hours; unfortunately we could not check in until after 2pm; however the hotel was obliging and offered us an available room which was in fact an upgrade which we paid for of course! the most friendliest service, the rooms are exactly what they are posted on the site (none of this downgraded stuff some hotels do). The location is so central to everywhere and easy to get to main roads and shopping areas.

This Marriott had a top notch staff and great location near the Greek district and Chinatown as well as a variety of shopping and other eating options. Only a short walk to Federation Square too, a must-see. Hotel had opulent dining facilities onsite along with a staff that welcomed my tired wife and I with Champagne, a very nice touch. Nice hotel, perfect location, good restaurant, but one room is definetely too small for couples with older children.

We chose the Marriott for its proximity to Her Majesty's Theatre and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The recently refurbished rooms were spacious, comfortable and quiet. The restaurant service impressed and the lounge bar was open late for an after-theatre nightcap. Highly recommended.

My wife and I rented the hotel room to celebrate our wedding anniversary, taking advantage of the sky-high Aussie dollar. The hotel is close to all the great restaurants and shops yet not too close (10 minutes walk) to Swanston Street which is becoming more problematic at night. Room was nice and clean, location good, overall the stay was good however: the three adjacent rooms were used for a corporate function one night, a little noise but not too late, what was unpleasant was that in the courtyard the tables of half eaten food were left overnight and most of the next day. Marriott Melbourne welcomed us with Champagne and chocolates. Have a delicious breakfast in the hotel restaurant and when you are ready take a short stroll to the boutique shops of Melbourne. After shopping relax in the Melbourne Tea gardens. Return to the Marriott where the Concierge will hail a taxi for travel to Lygon Street; an amazing food experience. A little disappointment on the reception staffs attitude (didn't expect it form a 5-stars hotel). Two reception staffs were very rude (no smile , irritating eye contact and unwilling to help), like that I was begging for services ( I requested slippers and was told to call "Housekeeping", I requested late check out due to the flight time was at the […] late evening but got rejected, in a hateful manner. Until the floor manager came, one room was extended up to 3pm. When I to reactivate the room card for check out, a gentleman asked me a lot of questions before helping, I felt uneasy that he was making it difficult for me). The hotel conditions are generally good but much older than the photos. Location is convenient. Beds are comfortable but the TV is the old model and provides no DVD player. 小学生の子供二人を連れて行きましたが、フロントのスタッフが塗り絵やシール、色鉛筆、パズルなどが入ったセットをプレゼントしてくれました。 私が泊まった部屋には子供と二人で十分寝れるダブルベッドが２台ありました。 すぐ近くのチャイナタウンがお世辞にも綺麗と言えないので部屋の清潔さがより際立って感じます。 スタッフは皆フレンドリーでした。 Hotel stuff are very friendly. They gave our children littel presents. The room is nice and clean.

Ci siamo trovati bene in quanto l`albergo e` situato al centro della citta` . La pulizia della stanza lascia molto a desiderare. Attenzione alle lenzuola, consiglio di controllarli. Lo staff dell`albergo e` stato sollecito a risolvere i vari problemi che si sono presentati.
