The motel was fine and the quality and convenience was fine. I selected the motel because it was close to where I needed to be for the week-end, but also because it advertised that there was shuttle service to and from John Wayne Airport. When I made the reservation I told the person that I would be arriving late, but would need the shuttle service […] as I was not going to rent a car. They told me "no problem". When I arrived at the airport at 10:00 pm and called to have the shuttle pick me up, they told me that they did not run the shuttle after 9:00 pm. That meant I had to pay for a $30 cab ride that I did not expect. I was disappointed as I had specifically asked that question when I made my reservation and was led to believe that I would have shuttle service. I would have shopped around for a different motel that offered shuttle service when I needed it if I had not been told that there was "no problem". Pročitajte više

The lobby of this hotel looks very nice. The rooms look like you stepped back into the 70's. The TV was old, the furniture was dated and the bed was hard. The positive for me was the free shuttle service. It was very nice. It goes back and forth to John Wayne Airport as well as to the beach. The staff was excellent.

Great location, needs to be updated. Overall clean and comfortable.

It was close to many sight seeing place, like Disney, knotts, the beach.

Beautifully appointed hotel common areas. Super nice room w/very comfy bed in large suite. Would have liked several more coffee packets for morning wake up. Expensive for my small budget and not centrally located to the Pier att Huntington Beach./

Have not seen or been in this hotel for a number of years. Very clean, comfortable, and reasonable rates for the location. close to everything in HB.

The hotel is literally across the street from a huge mall, and is a short 5-10 minute drive from Huntington Beach. The rooms are about average, older TV, and the maid service was okay. Parking is somewhat limited as well. The staff that we checked in with was personable and friendly.

It was a last minute booking for an hotel in Huntington Beach. The hotel is located across a mall and just a few miles from the beaches. Staff was great. Room clean. Only good things to say!

The staff was very good - the rooms were clean / bright and the location was great! Lots of great choices for food, and a gym just next door. Very functional for the business traveler.

This place is very misleading. We flew in from Miami expecting a hip, modern hotel but what we got was a 1983 hotel room with a 2012 lobby. The rooms must be the ORIGINAL rooms from when the hotel was built. We also found a weird beatle attached to our ice bucket which we gave back to the front desk. We have stayed here often and been pleased, but this time the bed was too hard and very uncomfortable, and the sink and tub drains did not work well. Standing in water while taking a shower was not pleasant. Their Buffet breakfast could be improved..better bread and less greasy bacon and sausage.

I travel quite a bit for work and usually I spend as little time in the hotel room as possible. The one thing this hotel has going for it is its location to the 405. Pros: - location - very nice staff - priced right for what it is - nice parking arrangement - walking distance to local mall Cons: - beds were not comfortable (3rd time I have stayed […] here, seems to be a trend) - internet was spotty, I needed to use my droid as a hot spot most of the time - TV's are out dated In my case, for a place to lay my head while on business, it's fit for purpose. The lobby has been renovated and looks nice, but the rooms need some work still. The bathroom had rust on the shower hardware. The furniture is old and beat up. I would call and ask if there are an renovated rooms available before booking.

This hotel is very close to the Huntington Beach Sports Complex. Convenient because my son was playing there for President's Day. Great service, nice room. Only downside, TV didn't work. Everything else was great.

The room and service was fine.

There was a very loud band in the lobby bar on Saturday night. We put the fan on in our room to drown out the noise and it was fine. Staff was very friendly.

The pool and jacuzzi have been under construction for far too long, and not all the rooms have been upgraded. But the location, price and friendliness of the staff make up for it. I've stayed here five times and will be back.

This was my first stay at this hotel. In short, it was an OK place to stay. The plumbing was plugged when I got my room (toilet, sink, and tub) but the staff took car of it immediately. It seems like a safe area and you can't beat the location. I could hear noise from the adjoining rooms each night, but it was not loud enough to make a difference. Facility clearly aging. Hot water availability iffy, sometimes OK sometimes none. Hard to keep room comfortable, temperature wise. Also, parking is difficult, didn't disclose underground parking structure until lot full. Won't stay again.

Could not communicate with desk clerk when checking in due to the extremely loud music coming from club that is attached to the hotel. Rooms were average nothing special but the bathrooms were old and outdated. Paint peeling off walls and shower grout was covered in mold stains.

The TV did not work, the rooms were too tiny, we could not sleep the whole night because next door to ours had some junkies (I would say 12 people were doing hard party). I requested the hotel man to control the noise. He did but in a few minutes the same thing kept on going the whole night.

Hotel remodeling is great. Love the new lobby, However, it has been 2 years of upgrading or just repairin pool and spa. BIG DISAPOINTMENT!!

We enjoyed our stay, the bar was great, bartender was very nice, he brought our food from the restaurant to the bar side for my husband and I, he gave excellent service. Checking in was very quick. We stayed here while attending a concert at the Huntington Library which was six minutes away. The mall is across the street, plenty of free parking.

When we first entered the hotel, everything was looking good. The lobby looked recently renovated and was clean and modern. Then everything went downhill from there. The front desk help put the minimal effort in helping us check in. They weren't unprofessional, but they were not friendly either. The furniture was in poor condition, the finish wearing off the tables, and everything looked like it belonged in a motel. The tv was ancient and the picture quality atrocious. The bathroom wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. When I booked the hotel we were really looking forward to spending some time in the pool. This is a nice hotel, with a great location. Restaurants across the street at Terra Bella. The staff is very nice, and helpful. The contintal breakfast is less than I expected. But, their buffet is reasonable.

after checking in we got into the center elevator and instead of going up like we asked it too it went down a couple feet then stopped. i tried hitting a couple buttons to invoke some movement from it but it would not respond i hit the alarm but no one came to help. :( i had to open the door with my hands then we were able to hop out as it was only […] a couple feet below the ground floor. either way it needs to be fixed and we avoided this elevator for the rest of our stay. When i checked in there was a sign about breakfast being served from 6-930. I made the assumption that this was a complimentary breakfast as it appeared that way on the sign. when we got there they asked for a voucher that we never got when we checked in so i went to the front desk to ask for my vouchers and they said oh my room rate was too low to qualify for a voucher. this i thought was ridiculous because they wanted to charge $10 a piece for a breakfast that denny's could not charge you $3 for. Needless to say after some stern talking to the front desk lady she handed over two vouchers. the breakfast was very low quality i could not see anyone paying $10 for it and being happy it should seriously be free for guests. Motel 6 has a better breakfast (waffles) and its free. i was really erked by the way they handled the breakfast because it was as if they thought someone should pay for that horrid meal. other than these two complaints with my stay the room was clean and housekeeping provided an extra pillow. no other issues were experienced Pročitajte više

This review is fairly redundant to the others. Hotel Lobby was very kitch, funky & modern but the rooms didnt convey the same. Our room was overlooking The Old Town where Octoberfest was so it was really loud till about 2, but I was coming home from a wedding so it really only bothered me until I passed out. Very close to the Octoberfest at Old World Village. Had a great time at the Old World Village Octoberfest, then walked about 150 feet to the nice hotel room.

Great location between airport and town center. Excellent self-parking. Very efficient and courteous staff. Quiet and clean. Spacious rooms. Iron. No food service or amenities, old tv and the ice machines don't always work, but the low rates make all that irrelevant. The free Wi-Fi wasn't fast, but fine for email.

This hotel is nice and in a good location for this area. The lobby was really nice but the rooms were average and aged. When they renovated the lobby they forgot about the guest rooms. Best value for your money. Good location - close to shopping centre and restaurants. Many restaurants on Beach Blvd. Also, not far away from Water Front, about 6 miles.

Business traveler. Hotel seems to be in the middle of much needed renovations. Lobby is nicely done, but elevators and up is quite worn - and I didn't see signs they are doing more than the lobby. I really like the location and staff was fine, but I think I'll wait until renovations are complete before returning.
