"Enjoyable stay at Belsfield"
We had a lovely stay at the belsfield and it gave us a good base for the lake district. The hotel is quite old and therefore not too many ultra modern facilities but beautiful and full of character. Very clean and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Thank you

"Wonderful hotel in a superb location"
Having visited the area i chose the Belsfield Hotel for its superb views over Lake Windermere and I wasn't disappointed. The Hotel is wonderful, it had everything i needed for my 2 day stay and the view from the hotel is simply breathtaking. The staff were very friendly and polite and the room was spotless. The bathroom was very modern with shower and […] bath. I cannot comment on the food as i did not eat there, but overall i would go back to this hotel time and time again. Only slight reservation was a fusty smell but only to be expected in a hotel of its age and history but it would in no way deter me from visiting this hotel again. It was a pleasure to stay there. "Classic hotel with character"
The Belsfield is a lovely older hotel with lots of character and charm. The staff were very accomodating and went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable. This hotel is NOT handicap friendly. It has multiple levels and stairs. The lift is old and small, barely enough room for a push chair, one adult and a toddler.
