The resort is well fitted out for kids and adults. The kids downstairs is basic but the kids loved it. Still have to pay for Wi-fi which is a joke considering what you pay. The staff are beautiful and cant help enough. If you get good weather the views from the lobby/ foyer and restaurant are amazing.

Clean, comfortable and spacious bedrooms, friendly staff, a lovely smelling reception :-) The only improvement I would suggest would be to have more greenery up/around the pool area, it seemed stark and all "wall". Otherwise great stay. Segways were fun. We had breakfast in Leura (lovely little place) so can't comment on the dining.

I really enjoyed our room. Incredibly comfortable and a very clean and renovated bathroom. My husband and I came out on an impromptu romantic getaway and got just that. In the middle of the golf course and the beautiful trees, it was perfectly quiet and wonderful. Good place to stay with little children. 2 pools, indoor and outdoor, playroom, pond, close to attractions. I took my parents with my 3yrs old - we had a great time! Just a little thing, but I really missed it there with a little one - microwave! And food from the hotel for a little one wasn't great... But she had it all...! Excellent. The staff in the restaurant were incredibly friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. They managed to deliver a unique service which felt as though you were at home, but treated like a star guest. This is the most genuine and best 'service' experience that we have had - and we travel fairly extensively.

We were disappointed with our first room, the carpet was dirty, the toilet didn't work and the view was terrible. But after speaking to the wonderful staff we had moved into a much better room within 10 minutes. They were very accommodating. The hotel had so many activities and amenities and it was close to the centre of Katoomba. We were really happy with the location and facilities offered by the hotel. The grounds are great and the room was awesome. The breakfast and New Year's buffet were good, though the buffet was questionable value for money. The level of service provided by the staff varied wildly. Most of the waiters were particularly bad. Used the resort for a three day break whilst visiting family in Australia. Found the facilities very good and the service friendly and helpful. Lovely place to stay and do take a trip to nearby Sublime Point.

We only stayed at this hotel for one night. We found the room to be clean but did smell like cigarettes. The bed was extremely comfortable and the breakfast was expensive. Would book this hotel again.

Nice stay in Leura. Good facilities for the kids with the heated indoor swimming pool and different attractions within the hotel. Good for relaxing and enjoying the nice athosphere. Extremely enjoyable, the staff are so friendly and very helpful. The resort had lots to do and our kids loved it. The resort was also very peaceful which allowed you to get a nice quite sleep.

I couldn't rate this resort any higher. Facilities are amazing for adults and kids. Staff were all looking for a reason to help us and we felt very welcome. I would strongly recommend this resort!

A drive away from restaurants in Leura, but well placed for driving to Blue Mountain sights. Hotel has 4 restaurants, we were there for 3 nights, and for 2 of those only the bar restaurant was open, the additional option being the buffet restaurant on the other night. Hotel is going through a refurbishment, but was unable to tell if our room had been […] refurbished - sadly, think it had been. Desk in room unable to sit against wall, as power points were behind it, so was left sitting at an angle into the room. Room not hoovered on one of the days, even though clearly needed it. Very good food. Upgrades are doing the building justice. Staff seemed a little over stretched resulting in longish wait times for requests, orders etc. Over-all a pleasant stay.

We stayed for 3 nights and arrived late on the first night and only found out later in the night there was a massive gap in the middle of the bed- the zip joining the beds together to make it a 'king' size bed was broken and the mattress cover did nothing to make it feel like one mattress! Had an uncomfortable sleep but after speaking to reception about […] that and the bath tub plug that was broken, we were moved to another room which was comfortable and the rest of our stay was fine. Friendly staff at the reception, helped us sort out the problem straight away but was still disappointing that this even occurred at such a place. Breakfast was superb (though if you arrive later in the morning during the weekdays, the food gets a bit too cooked), friendly service staff at breakfast, management of tables seemed a challenge on the weekend, facilities were great, close to bush walks- definately recommend the empress falls walk. It was always difficult to find parking in the hotel car park no matter what time of day it was, and when the cinema that is currently being added isopen it will no doubt be even harder! It was also difficult to get a table in the small restaurant and we were told that room service was available as an alternative - not a great idea when 2 kids are also […] involved. The room was fine - tho they could do with vacuuming under the beds and the tap in the bathroom was a poor design making it impossible to turn it on without getting soaked by the splashback. We love going to this hotel. Refurb is great. Pity the amount of conferences that closed down the main restaurant for dinner. The bar was open for meals, but with limited tables it was crowded for a small space. Facilities are great. Love the pool for the kids.

We enjoyed our stay. Check in took a long while as it was school holidays. The safe in our room is broken room number 424 which we didnt report at the time. I think check out time should be earlier so as incoming guests can check in earlier. Most people want to leave early anyway on their departure date.

The air conditioner in the room didn't work. Housekeeping did try and fix it but it only worked for a little while. We asked for a portable room heater.

Check in was a bit painful - had to register twice because the front office lost my paperwork and had to make three visits to reception to get the breakfast that was included in the booking to be loaded on the system. There was no parking available and the room service food was disgusting! We even got charged an extra $4 for the tray & $1 for a donation (without being asked). The prices didn't reflect the quality of the food. The water pressure in the shower was terrible.

Not enough variety and snack items with a minimal price range on the menu. Main restaurant overpriced for the quality of food (fancy words in menu without the taste) my lamb was chewy and other guests were unsatisfied as well but we didn't want to cause a scene as one of our guests was a little loud. The service was very good.

The hotel is set in a beautiful location and the Reception/Foyer area looks out over amazing views of the Blue Mountains and Valleys. There was a bit of an issue getting parking as there was a function on and the golf course was full, so we had to park down the hill quite a bit and wheel our luggage up from there. Although we didn't really need much […] help or attention from staff, on the 2 occasions that we required someone (on check-in and later booking a taxi), there was no one to be found behind the Reception Desk or concierge desk. Other than this, the hotel is great for a weekend getaway due to its proximity to the lovely town of Leura and a further 5 minutes drive to Katoomba.
