My mom and I stayed here for two nights in March. We had a wedding to attend in Sebastopol, and this hotel was very close to the wedding venue. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom was clean, although shower pressure was weak. Breakfast was a nice step above continental, with a breakfast burrito bar, yoghurt, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, breads/pastries, […] cereal, and a waffle station. Coffee and juice were available as well. Service was average. I tried to call down to the front desk several times, and no one ever picked up. When I first booked this hotel, I had asked about a late check-out, which they told me would be no problem. Then when I checked with them again the night before we checked out (yes, I like to double-check the details), the person at the front desk told me I would have to wait until the morning of check-out and ask for the late check-out time. The front desk staff was very friendly and very helpful. They gave us a map of the area and recommended local restaurants (including which ones give you a discount for being a guest at the hotel)! The room was clean and modern with a very comfortable bed. Although we didn't get down to use the pool or hot tub, the area looked nice and inviting and all […] of the people using these facilities were reasonably quiet. The continental breakfast was great (loved the waffles) and it went until 10:30 a.m! The staff are inappropriate, impolite, don't listen, are aggressive, and wouldn't let us unpack handicap and medical supplies before ordering us to move our car, even though where we were parked was a grey curb and did not have any time limit on the parking. They did NOT ask 'do you need help'. They did NOT ask 'how soon will you be done'. No ... they […] just said 'Move your car now!' even though there was room for 8 more cars there and there was not even another car taking up any of those spaces. I complained about that front desk staff member, and the next day he confronted me in the hallway and said 'You made a complaint about me! Great!' but with poisonous tone in his voice. The general manager aggressively wanted me to talk to her about the problems when I didn't have time during my stay, but wanted to talk about the problems later while driving. I really enjoyed my stay here: loved the room, quiet, lots of extras, very helpful staff, easy location, lots of parking (free, of course), breakfast included (yummy), nice lobby with fireplace, great location for wineries and other activities, and not expensive.This hotel is extremely clean. I highly recommend staying here. I will return.

This hotel is a good value. It was quiet, clean, good location. Staff made an extra effort when cleaning to corral my toiletries onto a clean washcloth and nested my "special" pillow into bed-making. Shower nozzle needs to be decalcified. Everything else beyond reproach.

From check in to check out, everything was easy. The room was clean and comfortable. I liked the chair and ottoman for reading. The breakfast was quite adequate, with something for everyone. The staff at the hotel are friendly and helpful. I appreciated free wi fi in room.

We were here for two days as a midpoint between the Bodega Bay Area and the Wine country. Just the best people work here all very kind and concerned about our accommodations. Great breakfast in the morning and a good variety of food. Will be back again to stay next year.

Convenient location - close to Bodega Bay, the Russian River and the Wine Country. Very nice Fairfield Inn - clean and looks like a fairly new renovation. Breakfast was adequate, typical foods but fresh fruit was still available even later in the morning

Simple, no nonsense hotel stay. It had everything we needed. We stayed at a resort in Mendocino the night before and felt way more taken care of at the Fairfield inn than at the 4 star spa.

We stayed here for a quick weekend. The location is easy but it is on a main road (that's good and bad). The rooms are clean and smoke free. If you are a smoker there are ample places to smoke outside by the exit doors on the first floor. Parking for us was a snap. There is a store across the street, and although we didn't use it short of buying a soda, […] there is a store in the hotel as well. The breakfast is great in it's offerings: Scrambled eggs, sausages, toast, bagels, English muffins, muffin muffin's, juice, coffee, tea, et al. Also, all the staff were so friendly and polite too. We walked into the lobby at 9pm and were surprised to see 6 or 7 sheriffs walking towards us without anyone in custody. A strange sight to behold as you're checking in and and it rattled us a bit. We decided to come in to wine country and check it out. There are several wineries nearby. The hotel staff was very friendly. I was there before 10AM and obviously my room wasn't ready. They then gave me complimentry wine tasting coupons to 5 wineries nearby. By the time we finished the room was ready. Breakfast was very good.

The bed was ancient. There was no microwave in the room, and the one in the dining area continues to run if you open the door, which is a major safety concern. We could hear everyone who went up or down the stairs. Room was clean and had a good shower. We have stayed there before but will not again.
