Although the room was small, it was very well laid out with everything you need. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Beds were comfortable. My bedside light did not work and there was no weekend staff who could repair it. The wifi service is very cumbersome. You get a different username and password every 24 hours. Also, you have to log on every time. […] Even with automatic log on selected, I still had to go to settings on my iPad to tell it to go to the hotels wifi. The hotel is well located, easy 5 min. walk to most everything. Metro line close. The staff was very nice and helpful, all speaking excellent English. The rooms are quite small (think cruise ship state room) but adequate. Bath was also quite small, but adequate. The bed was ok, but my back bothered me after 3 days. Location of hotel is very convenient near to the central station and main shopping area of the town.The room was very clean suitable for a couple but with a small washroom, quality of service was extraordinanry.A wide variety of dishes including hot items were served in the breakfast.

Everything about it was great. The location was convientent. We walked from the train station on arrival and departure.It seems a long way when you first arrive but that is because it is uphill. Departing is downhill so thats the bonus. As with every other tourist in Stockholm walking is the easiest form of transport through the city ( all dragging […] their suitcases along). Don't think about taxis unless you are happy to pay a lot. The old town is a great visit again on foot. The hotel offered everything you needed and did not charge you everytime you asked forn extras. Breakfast buffett was great with a good choice. Their staff cannot do enough for you and nothing is too diffucult for them. The hotel is close to supermarkets restaurants pubs and shopping. I would highly reccommend this hotel. The only downside is the rooms are a little small but still big enough to get by. A big thank you to Mathew on the front desk for all his help. We visited Stockholm 07.12.12 for a long weekend. The hotel was situated just outside the city centre in an ideal location for all the main sites. The room was smaller than anticipated but had all that we could've needed. The staff were always pleasant and helpfull and all could speak fluent English. The Christmas markets were wonderful, especially the food, but they all closed very early so be sure to visit before late afternoon to not be disappointed. This is described as a boutique hotel, and correctly so. It is so pleasant aesthetically and the staff is fantastic. To accommodate our request for early check in, the hotel upgraded us from a superior to an executive room. Not necessary but they did it. Breakfast buffet is incredible, as is lounge and lobby. We booked a Superior room because of other reviews referring to small rooms, our room had a standard size bed with less than 1 meter to the wall on 2 sides, the bathroom was also very small. The meal voucher with the Superior room was poor value, for a coffee & 'special' (i.e. low cost) desert in the restaurant, which had a very limited evening menu […] - we only ate there once, though breakfast was good. We had to go looking for milks, etc after the room cleaner forgot to leave any. Centrally located, although the construction across the street begins at 8 am. Food is good, dining room average. Cleanliness average. Wifi checks out after 30 minutes of use, you need to request a new code to get back on. Concierge ok. Recommendations to restaurants were to places closed on Sunday or very pricey. Overall, ok.

This hotel was let down solely by the fact that their kitchens were understaffed. We had an excellent stay in this hotel in every other respect. The staff were friendly and helpful but had to be constantly apologising for the long waits and poor organisation of the kitchen. On the next night one of our group was not served their main course until the others were long finished their meals. This occured again on our last night there. On another occasion one portion of the salmon and potato pie had no salmon in it and had to be replaced.They also forgot to put the bacon in the Caesar Salad. ( we were only there 4 nights). Every time the serving staff were lovely ans obliging but helpless in the face of an incompetent kitchen. I need an hotel with good service, clean, silent, and near the center: this hotel fit perfectly my requirements and it's much cheaper than other hotels of the same category. Enjoyable stay for 4 nights, very comfortable bed and good breakfast. Expedia offer on Executive room which included dinner was very cost-effective considering price of eating out in Stockholm. We thought the Mornington was a great place to stay. My family thought the daily breakfast was awesome, the rooms are clean and well designed, the gym is probably the best I have ever seen and the location is great for sightseeing. The bar/restaurant across the street is really good too !

We had a wonderful time at this hotel in early August. We had stayed at the Marriot for a few nights when we first landed in Stockholm and it was nice, but for a significantly lower price we received a very comparable experience. It was a very short walk to the subway that will take you anywhere, close to a number of neat museums, 2 blocks from Ostermalmshallen […] and a grocery store for nights when you just want something less expensive or fast, while still being quiet. For American guests the room is a bit small, the shower is the European style where you have to be aware of the water spilling on to the floor, and the breakfast buffet wasn't as enormous as more expensive hotels, but all in all we thought this was a great place to stay and we'll be back in a few years for our next visit. The Mornington lacks the warmth of a boutique hotel but was clean with all the facilities you could need. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast area is a bit cramped and difficult to negotaite when busy. Otherwise 8/10.

This hotel was conveniently located close to transit, and was just a short walk to a lot of amenities such as Saluhall. The breakfast was very good as they offered a good selection. If you are literate in Swedish, there are lots of books to choose from!

Charming, stylish hotel. Rooms were small but functional. Rooms ideal for 2, fitting in a child would be a real squeeze. The breakfast is great, but don't try the restaurant for dinner - it was awfully slow with a limited menu.

Comfortable and a very convenient location. We really enjoyed breakfast. Room was OK but not generous, with few shelves. There was free mineral water in the fridge but the room did not have its own safety deposit box. Dinner menu was fairly limited

Very pleased with this facility. The included breakfast was excellent and our room was vey comfortable. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We'd stay again in a heartbeat. Also, it was less than a block away from the subway that takes you to Central Station, and an easy walk to a Hop On Hop Off stop.

Two of us enjoyed this hotel very much with one exception. Although the staff were friendly, competent and helpful and our room was beautiful it was too small for two people and two suitcases. Even one flight-sized suitcase overhung the edge of the small luggage shelf. Definitely form over function in the bathroom where I could not wash my face without […] bumping the overhanging shelf. The small size of the bathroom left no place to hang towels and the shelf on which clean ones were folded flooded if the shower was used without careful attention to where the spray nozzle was pointed. The room was always cleaned thoroughly. A minor re-design could overcome the downside of this room. The included breakfasts here were excellent and portions were unlimited. Dining room staff were charming, friendly, quick to whisk empty dishes away and always happy to answer questions. Bed was wonderful. Bar service prompt and courteous.
