While it's clean enough and beds confortable, if one has more than one electronic device...there is just two plug-ins available...one of which is adjacent to the sink. The continental breakfast was from 20 years ago. I could not get water from the vending machines. The parking lot was full of semis, leaving little parking space. The lobby was outdated also. Since I only paid $68 a night, I got my money's worth.

I will definetly stay at the Baymont again when I return for next year's conference. My conference sight was maybe 1/8 of a mile away. My car did not even have time to warm up! This was a nice place to stay. I am a bed size snob and chose the Baymont because it had 2 queen beds. The accommodations were good. Breakfast was good. Actually, I just booked to stay again in the near future!!!

We stayed for just one night and it was....okay. First of all the hotel is very clean and has up-to-date deco. Checking in went smooth. Upon ariving at our room we discovered that the thermostat was set at 85 degrees and yes it was 85 degrees in the room. The room had a "funny" smell but that seem to subside once we got the temp down in the room (had […] to turn the air conditioning on and leave the door open to the hallway). The pool was clean and in great condition. Not sure if the hotel has thin walls but we were woken up 2 times by a couple arguing or talking loudly; had to call front desk. The alarm clock was set to go off at midnight, which woke us all up. We felt as it the room was "booby trapped!" Bed were comfortable and the breakfast was okay, nothing to brag about. Nice place and the front desk lady was very nice. She did give me a room that had someone already in it. She quickly replaced my room with another one that was empty. It was a handicap room, so the shower head was positioned at about 3.5", I'm 6'1" so it made for a very awkward shower. The rest of the room was clean.

Rude, sloppy, unprofessional staff! The kid who checked me in couldn't even be bothered to tuck in his shirt or stand up. The room was fine, even though they switched us from one with a fridge and microwave to one with only a fridge once I arrived with my dog (which they charged an extra $10 a night for). The pool was fine, except that the hot tub did […] not work. The corridors/stairwell smelled of bug killer and the key cards only worked 1/4 of the time. Since we stayed over the New Year, we were privileged to receive a sophomoric and rudely worded letter detailing all the activities we were not to engage in or "the cops will be called". That unsigned letter will be forwarded to head office. Ironically, the only disturbance we had that night came from the pool area, directly under our room, which they left open until 2am! Oh, and I was rudely scolded by the night clerk the one night I tried to enter the front door late (with child and dog in tow) and didn't realize I was expected to use my key card.......which seldom worked anyway. Even though she had just buzzed in a new guest, she was happy to sit and watch me try to juggle child and dog while trying to open the (unbeknownst to me) locked door. Overall, BOO, and never again! We enjoyed our overnight stay with our small dog and 7 month old baby. We ordered Chinese food from a local restaurant that was delivered right to our room with reasonable $2.50 delivery charge, enjoyed a swim before bed, room had 2 comfortable queen beds, free Wifi and ate a big breakfast downstairs. This hotel had an interesting mix of positives and negatives. On the one hand, it seemed very clean and we frequently saw housekeeping staff mopping, scrubbing walls, counters, etc. in the common areas. The room was clean also. There was plaster falling […] off the wall above the shower and the fan in the bathroom was broken and functioned poorly. The heating system was loud and turned on/off with a loud "clunk". The hot tub did not produce bubbles although it was hot and essentially just functioned as a large warm pool. The bed was very soft and uncomfortable and the pillows were lumpy. The front desk clerk was unfriendly upon check-in and didn't bother telling us that there was a dog-walking area out back that was equipped with supplies for dog owners; instead we pottied our dogs in the tiny front lawn area of the hotel. The breakfast food was OK; no complaints there. I would stay at this hotel again if I had to travel with my dogs, since dog-friendly hotels are limited, but otherwise woul prefer to stay elsewhere. When you stay in inexpensive hotels, you tend to have low expectations. Baymont exceeded my expectations for the value of the hotel. It wasn't about 5-star accommodations, it was about really great 3 star accommodations. The hotel is grungy but my room was clean. The front desk staff could have been more presentable but they were friendly. For the quality the rate in my opinion should be $10-$15 lower. If I were traveling with my family I would want something better, since it was just me and an overnight sleep then it was acceptable.
