Rooms are a little dated. Shower worked well. Heavy fragrance smell in room, little musty. Overall good stay for the money.

Enjoyed the hotel, room was fine, surroundings fine, but someone in a room bordering mine must have been a chain smoker. My room became more and more filled with the stench of smoke the longer I was there.

This location was perfect. When I arrived the staff was very nice. They explained where everything on the property was. They also made sure that the room that I selected online was the correct room that they had ready for me. When I finished checking in I went directly to my room. It was immaculate. The security who greeted me for my midnight check-in and the service desk guy were both nice and friendly. Only down side? the pillow protectors are laugh out loud funny..they crinkle like newspaper and trash bags are inside..very uncomfortable because of the noise factor!!

The beds were pretty uncomfortable and the rooms were so-so. I had to jiggle the television cable in order to get a clear picture and the rooms weren't built well to shield the outside noise. Check-in seemed to take forever, but check-out was quick enough. All-in-all, a pretty mediocre place.

We had difficulty with our reservation. However, the staff went over and above to help settle the matter even to the point of allowing us to use their computer to print out our reservation information. We were very satisfied by the time we got our room.

Although the staff was very friendly, this hotel was misrepresented. There was no fitness room, as originally reported. The rooms are in desperate need of updating, and it smelled if bad air freshener. I wouldn't stay here again, though the staff was very accommodating.

To sum it up, we got a great price on the room & it was in a convenient location. It was close to the thru-way & there were plenty of resturants & places to hang out for a night. We felt safe walking around […] & generally the hotel is in what I consider a suberb area. The staff here was great! Extremely helpful & friendly. The only negative thing I can say is the room itself (which was clean enough) was just plain depressing looking. It was outdated looking, the furniture was run-down, & the paint colors just look as if they went to a home depot got whatever paint was returned & that was it. I realize that seems alittle nit picky but it really gave the hotel a kind of sleezy, by the hour feel. Overall, for the night it was great. The location, the price, & the staff were great. I usually read the reviews before selecting a hotel but this time I didn't. When I got home from work , hubby asked if I read the reviews, because he did and wasn't sure I had picked a good place to stay. We were very satisfied with the room, the service and the whole experience and plan to go back whenever we go to Charlotte/Concord.

This place could have been good but turned out to be a nightmare. Night #1, the alarm clock in the adjoining room went off at about 3.00am and kept on beeping for about 2- 3 hours. We complained to 2 staff members who assured us the problem would be fixed. Night #2, problem appears fixed, alarm did not go off. Can't beat the price for staying in Ballantyne area of Charlotte. Room was small and AC was loud however for the price paid it was well worth it. Area was centrally located, and in a good area. Room was clean and had all the amenities advertised.
