We had 7 rooms booked as we were all going to a wedding at the Botanical Gardens. My daughter requested an early check in as she has a baby and the receptionist said that wasn't a problem. A good all round hotel and we will be very happy to stay again next time we come up to our sons.

I would recommend the Holiday Inn Oldbury with no hesitation. We had a comfortable and lovely stay and must say the breakfast took me by surprise. The staff are friendly and courteous.

We have stayed at other Holiday Inn Express hotels because we know what we are likely to get and we were not disappointed. Clean, comfortable room with a good cooked breakfast next morning. I was worried about noise because of previous reviews but this stay on a Friday night was silent, even though there were lots of guests. Pile em high and sell em cheap hotel near the Motorway; Birmingham Centre is about 25 mins drive away. Rooms compact with en suite shower & loo, but warm and very clean. Feather pillows and extra bedding available on request and free. ODD number rooms are at the front and noisier than EVENS. Breakfast buffet very good - all you can eat - with EXCELLENT […] coffee. Staff attentive and friendly. Fire alarm went off at 4 am Sunday morning and blasted away for about 30 seconds. No fire and no apology. Pročitajte više

Good rooms, quiet, clean and tidy and a good breakfast toboot.... Would use again. In fact already booked for December.

good clean hotel and service was good, i had booked a double but was given a twin but the staff were quick and happy to amend , great stuff

Conveniently located, though car entrance not obvious first time. Very clean, spacious room, good bathroom, welcoming and responsive staff, excellent for short stay with easy access to local area. Breakfast OK, though need to go early to get full range. Several people commented on lack of bacon for hot breakfast (this is England but only scrambled egg […] & sausage provided!), but otherwise reasonable (orange juice rather synthetic). Was easy to get to from motorway, friendly helpful staff, good clean and spacious room and stand in shower room, breakfast consisted of sausage and scrambled egg, but cereals, croissants, toast and fruit also available, nice pub next door

Booked for one night for 2 adults and 2 children. The 'queen' size bed is really small for a couple and the sofabed is actually very basic but enough for two small kids. The room was very cold on arrival and there was some water leaking onto the bathroom floor. The thermostat of the shower was not working properly and the water temperature changed constantly […] without warning. Staff were very helpful and the complimentary breakfast was fine but would not stay here again. The hotel does not come up to the standards of the newer Holiday Inn Express establishments. A convenient hotel for access to central B'ham. Very quiet even though near major roads. Access off main traffic island a little tricky, you really need to watch which lane you are in. Friendly helpful staff, clean and tidy room. Breakfast adequate to keep you going until teatime. I would use this hotel again for weekend stay or short breaks.
