From the room, to the staff, the overall stay was fantastic. I wasn't impressed with Ric's, but after chatting with the hotel staff, I learned that they aren't affiated with the hotel directly.

We stayed for just one Saturday night at the Crystal Lodge and it was a great experience. Very centrally located in Whistler Village, the lodge in connected to lots of stores and restaurants. Our room was a bit small to share between three people, but it was fine for one night.

My wife and I loved our stay at the Crystal Lodge & Suites during a 3 day ski trip in February 2013. The proximity to the lifts was great (just a couple of minute walk). The room was clean, spacious, and well equiped. We usually have problems getting a good night's sleep in a lot of hotels, but the bed and pillows were very comfortable and we slept […] well. The staff was very friendly and eager to answer any questions we had about the area. There are plenty of restaurants and shops just steps outside of the hotel. I can see how noise might could be an issue if the room faces towards the shops and restaurants (the "Village Stroll"), but our room faced away so it wasn't an issue for us. This hotel was perfect for our stay in Whistler. The service was excellent, the room was very clean and comfortable, and there was only a short walk to the ski lift/Gondola. The location of the hotel is probably its best feature. Its in the centre of town and just a short walking distance to many restaurants, Starbucks, the pharmacy and grocery store. […] Also like I said, it is a short walking distance to the Whistler Gondola. The Crystal Lodge is just perfect. Perfect location. Just a minute away from the slope and at the same time it's close to great restaurants. Their service was top notch as well. I could not ask anything more than they did. From early check-in at 8 am, to storing and cleaning our snowboard for a whole day after we check-out. I stayed their 2 double bed […] rooms. It was big enough for us and bed was confortable and clean. Their spa and pool was great, too. I would definitely come back here again if the price stays like this. Excellent location for access to the lifts and Whistler Village, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. The only thing we would change were the beds. We found them a bit too soft and hence uncomfortable to sleep in.

Great cleaning staff, very friendly. Awesome location just wished we had a better view. Love the products in the bathroom are nice too. Cable kept going down and the free wifi didnt work.

There was a mixup with my reservation upon check-in, they wanted to put me in a room with two double beds, although I had booked a King. The staff said it was a mixup through Expedia, but they were able to get a King for only two nights and then I had to move my final night to a room with two double beds. I arrived expecting good service for the price I was paying. Instead not a single staff member offered help nor was any advice offered without continued solicitation. In short it felt more like a hostel than a hotel.

The hotel location is superb. All of the staff went out of their way to be helpful and of course, as friendly and welcoming as possible. The whole of Whistler Village was a perfect setting for our family holiday. it is not cheap to eat in Whistler. As we booked quite late we were limited in restaurant availability. our Christmas meal was at Edgewater […] Lodge. a lovely restaurant which was 10 minutes taxi drive from Whistler Village. it was almost $100 dollars a head and although it was a nice meal it wasnt outstanding so not the best value for money but the surroundings were fabulous. We also ate at caramba which is a family friendly restaurant and the prices werent too high. There were just a few areas that would improve a stay at Crystal Lodge. It is obviously a popular hotel and this showed in slight wear and tear in the rooms. There is no way to adjust the heating temperature in the rooms and consequently we had to open the window at night even tho it was -10 degrees outside! The hotel certainly didn't want their guests to be cold at night. Finding the entrances to the hotel can be a bit of a challenge. the lobby is situated around the back and one floor down whereas there are several ways to enter the hotel off the main street through the shopping mall. we did get lost a few times! . The guys working the ski room were awesome. It was so nice to have your skis taken right at the front door and having a couple minute walk to the lift is convenient. After having left the housekeeping staff a generous tip, I had to go down the hall to have my empty Kleenex box replaced and the next day didn't have enough TP to get through the day! We rented two rooms and were in the older part of the hotel, no comparison to the new part which we experienced last summer. WiFi was sporadic at best, one elevator was out of service, pop machine was also out of service, our room was not made up, only change of towels on Christmas Day. The crystal lodge is in such a good location. The staff were so friendly and helpful. I was sick for days and had to stay in the room which was very comfortable. The king bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping were great and accommodating. We will stay there again. Board valet, hot chocolate and Santa in the foyer. We had the fire alarm go off in the […] middle of the night and the hotel manager was very quick to pop a letter under all the doors thanking everyone for their corporation. Specifically booked a hotel in the village for the view, our room looked out at an alley and some dumpsters, but we could see a bit of the slopes. Otherwise, clean, friendly and helpful staff, great location in the village, and very quiet at night . Really enjoyed our stay!

Just spent 5 days at Crystal Lodge. We had a loft suite, overlooking the village and LOOOOOVED the location. It was not only in the HEART of the village it comes with a discount card to all the restaurants in the building like free desert at Rics, free wings at the bar, etc. It was my husband's 40th birthday and the hotel even remembered and left him […] a Birthday card. The maid service was a sweetheart from New Zealand. My only issues with the hotel was the King bed was actually two twins pushed together and not quite even, and the hot tub was not hot. Their maintenance guys were working on it, that was a let down after skiing all day we were a little disappointed with that. Exceptional if I need to use one word to describe this hotel. Check in was a breeze. We arrived early around noon before check in and our room was already ready for us. Mind you, we arrived during shoulder season (slow time of the year). When we reserved through Expedia, we noted that we had a baby and a crib would be necessary. Our room had a crib […] with two soft blankies. We wanted a bit more comfort for our baby, so we asked for a thick blanket to put in the crib and it wasn't a problem. It was delivered within minutes. Room was very comfortable with soft pillows and cozy mattress. You are able to adjust the temperature of the room to as hot or cold as you want. We asked for a room on the quiet side due to our five month old daughter. Definitely quiet, but the hallway noise can be heard. Hotel is located in the perfect spot. We had a wonderful stay at Crystal Lodge. The hotel is located close to the slopes right in the Whistler Village. The staff was amazing. They let us take a shower after we checked out from the hotel and were super nice and responsive to all of our needs.

My husband and I just stayed here for 4 nights. We loved it! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location just steps away from the Whistler gondola and many shops. There is a Starbucks which can be accessed without even leaving the hotel (which was a huge plus for us!) Excellent hotel, very good value, and very conveniently located. Staff were extremely helpful; they not only let us leave our bags at the hotel while we skied on our final day, but let us take showers and checked and confirmed our bus back to Vancouver. Would definitely stay there again.

The hotel is like 2 minutes walking to ski lifts. The room was clean, but a little bit small for 2 queen beds. There are a lot of restaurants and shops on the market stroll level. The hotel has a free parking for hybrid cars.

We were in a loft suite, and liked the layout and convenience of the kitchen area (which was better stocked than expected, having a full stove and refridgerator and not just a cooktop and undercabinet fridge). There were three in our party, with two sleeping in the loft bedroom and one on the pull-out couch. I would stay here again, but not get a loft […] suite because the temperature of the upper and lower floor couldn't be maintained consistently. The room would benefit from a ceiling fan to circulate the hot air down to the first floor, where it was freezing if we adjusted the temperature for the top floor, or the top floor was swealtering if we adjusted for comfort on the first floor. Also would bring our own pillows, but we're picky that way. The pillows in the hotel were thick and quite firm, which didn't suit our preferences. But overall for value and quality, this was a good hotel that we would stay in again. Used the outdoor pool and hot tub, as well as the indoor sauna - all were clean and in good condition. We were in a dog-friendly room (and had dogs with us) and the carpet looked a little stained but that's to be expected. Definitely wasn't something that bothered us. I suspect the non-dog units wouldn't have that issue. The bathrooms were clean and we liked the deep soaking tub. Pročitajte više

My wife and I went here for our 6th anniversary and took our two black lab mix dogs. The hotel and surrounding area is very pet friendly. The only issue we had was where to put our pets when we went to dinner. There were not very many pet sitting services in the area which was disappointing. However, the hotel staff here were great with our pups and […] gave them treats. They also received dog blankets upon arrival and a treat. We stayed in the loft which was very nice. One draw back is the noise from the village at night tends to be a little loud. Loved the location and the service here. Located just a minutes walk away from the hills and write in the heart of the village, this place was a great place to stay. The room was clean and large, the fitness center was adequate, the pool was above average. Overall, I'd stay here again.

The hotel was well located. We had the "tradtional" room, which was a bit snug but addeptable. The service at the hotel was fine, and we were comfortable. We would stay here again.
