"Satisfied all our needs"
This was a beautiful hotel. We had a luxury sweet that was perfect for our needs. They have a restaurant. We had room service. Although the menu was limited the food was excellent and there was plenty of it. The hotel was close to the Florida Orthopedic Institute where I had to go for a consultation. "Excellent with shutte availability"
Beautiful hotel that is nice and clean. Has all the accomadations you need. Has a door to seperate the sleeping area from the other room. One can sleep while others watch TV and plan the day. The service in the restaurant was slow. We actually walked out waiting so long to get breakfast. The parking was limited and at night it was terrible. There is a restaurant next to the hotel and it appeared patrons going to that restaurant(not part of our hotel) parked in the Sheraton lot. The use of only 4 elevators was not convenient because the cleaning […] staff, etc had to utilize the same elevators. Desk personnel were helpful. Best service- free shuttle to the airport and Steinbrenner Field. We had a deluxe suite. Was satisfactory but the furniture was outdated. Stayed at this hotel while attending Yankee spring training game. It was a 15 minute ride to the stadium and very close to Dale Maybre Hwy which has everything you need on it. If location is everything then this Hotel has it all. Close to the Airport, shopping, restaurants and major highways.....and not far from the cruise ship piers. The hotel staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. We called for additional towels and they were at out door in less than 5 minutes. The public areas are very nice, however the room decor, […] lighting, and furniture are dated and in need of refurbishing. The room was large, and the bed and bedding were comfortable. "Kids loved the indoor pool"
I had a convention to attend - my husband and kids drove up with me for the night. Hotel was nice and close to the convention center, it is a name i know and trust, beds were so comfy, indoor pool was awesome for the kids (as we are floridians and do not swim outdoors in the winter time - lol), they gave us an early check in as we got there early.. Front desk personnel were extremely helpful with exception of one woman whotold me housekeeping wasn't in and all the rooms were booked when I asked for a hairdryer to replace the broken one in our room. My group stayed here before we went on a cruise. The location was convenient being in between the airport and the port. Transportation was FANTASTIC, they took us everywhere we wanted to go EXCEPT downtown to the port of call. "Good location but needs upgrade"
Everything about this hotel is fine, except that it is dated and really needs to be remodeled. Otherwise, it is of the same standard of other hotels in this chain-- big rooms, comfortable beds, etc. You might be put off by the worn carpets, old elevators, etc., but if the price is right this is still a good value. "Clean and spacious"
This location was close to the airport which was exactly what I was looking for. I loved the space the room had and the set up. Only 2 out of 4 elevators actually worked at the time, so we had to wait extra extra long for the elevators after pressing the button to go up or down. "close to the Raymond James Stadium and restaurants"
We stayed 2 nights for the Outback Bowl and were happy with the location. When we arrived the hotel was busy checking in guests. There was at least one high school band staying there. We requested more towels and washcloths and it took a while for them to bring them up. The next night, same thing...we needed extra towels and washcloths and only had […] one roll of toilet paper for 4 people. The room was clean and well maintained. The hotel had 4 elevators and 2 of them were shut down and being switched over to "a new system". This caused the 2 remaining elevators to be very busy. We are able to go DOWN the stairs but since they opened up to the outside, the downstairs door remained locked and we could not get in to go UP the stairs. Couldn't figure out why they decided to do this at this extremely busy time of the year. The hotel was convenient to Raymond James Stadium for our bowl game and there were places to eat nearby. "Great Place to Stay"
We were there for the Outback Bowl and the location was perfect. The hotel was less than three miles from the stadium and the shuttle took us to the game. The staff were friendly, couteous and very efficient. The desk clerk had out reservation waiting when we arrived. Check in/out was quick and easy.
