This was a very convenient hotel within walking distance of the Convention Center. The room was very comfortable and clean. The included breakfast buffet was substantial. I think the location was perfect for hitting all the major sites in DC. However, our room only had one night stand, which made the room look like it was missing something, but the rest of the amenities were great! We visited DC to run a half marathon so having a kitchenette was perfect!

The hotel was nice and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic compared to most other hotels and the location was perfect. Probably a 15 minute walk down to the mall and from there you can walk anywhere. We were able to check in at 9:00 AM, park our car for the next two days and never have to worry about driving or parking again […] while in the city. Huge relief. The staff was very helpful and professional. It's close to Metro and Mall. We walked or Metro'd everywhere. Breakfast and free parking were added bonus. Only drawback was they turned the water off one day from 10:00 am until 1. Overall, good time. Too early for Cherry Blossoms.

My family & I found the Residence Inn to be a great place to stay. We found the Hotel modern & its staff members very eager to make our stay enjoyable. Excellent stay here. The breakfast was plentiful and the early dinner available was a nice touch. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Everything was great except the buffet breakfast was very crowded and they couldn't make the food fast enough or wash the dishes fast enough. There was also limited seats for breakfast dining.

Don't go without a printed copy of reservation if you book the parking package. The receptionist gave us a hard time at checking because she didn't know how to check if our package contains parking and delayed our check out for almost 30 minutes!

You have to valet park your car. When the hotel valet parked the car, he backed into a concrete structure which shattered the back window of our vehicle. The hotel management was very nice and honest about it, but this was a hassle.

I loved everything about the hotel accept for that fact that my ice maker was slow and there was no other option for ice. If you arrive late and need ice right away then it's an inconvience waiting on the maker to make the ice. Other than that I loved my room and my stay there

The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was extremely small but functional. Kitchenette was a nice extra bonus. They even had microwave popcorn in a basket for us! The staff was extremely friendly and very willing to help. Breakfast daily was a super nice perk.

Hitel is looking and feeling very dated. Doors don't fit on cupboards, robe doors don't slide, sofa bed past it's use by date, feet sofa missing a wheel - all obvious stuff not addressed. Topped of by the crunchy chips in the middle of the floor outside our room for 3 days that you couldn't miss. Other option in W are much better value.

The hotel was very nice. The room was comfortable and clean. We got a studio and it was more than large enough for me and my husband. Large Bathroom, Queen size bed, Sofa and chair and table with chairs in kitchenette. The breakfast was complimentary and had a full line of items: eggs, breakfast potatoes, gravy, biscuits, pastries, bagels, muffins, […] waffles with fruit toppings available, oatmeal with various toppings, yogurt, 4 cereals, coffee, milk, juice, fruit. GREAT! Staff was friendly and helpful. They let us check our bags on our last day since we had an evening flight. Would highly recommend this hotel. We enjoyed the 10 min. walk to the National Mall. If looking for a good place to eat nearby, go toward Chinatown. More restaurants in that direction. If you prefer Metro to travel about. McPherson Square station is about a 5 min. walk from hotel. Very comfortable room with nice amenities (studio). The small kitchen allows one to cook simple meals in the room which is nice when staying for an extended period. We booked a studio room so I assumed when we got their it would be quite small but to our surprise it was a very large space with a full sitting area (couch&chair/coffee table), full kitchen(full size fridge/stove/microwave/sink/utensils/glasses/dishwasher), small kitchen table to eat at, the bathroom was a nice size as well with a seperate area for […] the sink and mirror to get ready. We were so impressed with this room and everything it had come woth for the price we paid. The service at the hotel was also amazing, from the front door, valet to the workers in the breakfast area. The continential breakfast offered so many different varities of food (yogurt,waffles, bagels, eggs, sausage, fruit, ceral, cookies, muffins ...list goes on and on)..... The parking was a reasonable price $28/day and the location most of all was fantastic. Walk straight down about 5 blocks and you hit all the main attractions (whitehouse/ museums / old post office) ..etc .... This has been one of the best hotel stays I have had in a very long time ....exceeded my expectations by a long shot and I would strongly recommend it to anyone thinking of visiting Washington, D.C. Not for those who need glitz and fawning service: but for everyone else this is a very pleasant, well-run, cost-effective place to stay. Staff were efficient and helpful. I stayed at another Residence Inn last fall, in California, and had a similarly good experience. Recent stay in DC confirmed Marriott's Residence Inns as a brand I will return to.

Very nice. We were given a very large room. There was a leak in the air conditioning, but we were moved to another room of the same size. Breakfast was good. Close to metro stations, but a bit of a walk to the sites we were visiting.
