Homewood Suites by Hilton Grand Rapids - Grand Rapids

We really enjoyed our stay at Homewood, I don't think I've ever had better service from a hotel and the breakfasts we're awesome. In the future I wouldn't hestiate to stay here again and I would refer this hotel with confidence to anyone! Great Hotel!!

This is a very nice hotel. Unfortunately the walls are paper thin and you can hear every sound (and noise) throughout the night. We stayed in a suite with a separate master bedroom. The only bathroom however is located in the master bedroom so our daughter had to come through our room to use the bathroom. Very poor design. We stayed at the Homewood Suites for the Grand Rapids Marathon. The staff were very friendly and the hotel is very clean. Our stay couldn't have been better!

Very welcoming and helpful staff. This hotel was above my expectations. The complimentary breakfast choices exceeded all other hotels I have stayed at. Clean, very comfortable. The hotel was full, and we did not have any trouble with noise from other guests.

We enjoyed our room. Only thing they said it was a king, not sure about that. We have a king at home and this bed was smaller., but still comfortable. We will stay again.

This Hotel was fabulous! Our suite had a full kitchen..seperate bedroom..big living area! They offer a full breakfast FREE!!The price was very low...we are definately coming back!

I checked in around 10:30pm, very tired, and got all the way up to my room on the third floor and upon entering the room was "welcomed" by a paper on the table for someone who's name was NOT mine, which was quite awkward thinking they gave me someone else's room by mistake. Then I went to use the bathroom and lifted the lid and there was urine all over […] the seat.... Then I saw hairs all over the floor and water ring marks all over the bathroom counter. Clearly, the bathroom had not been cleaned at all. Also, the pillows looked as if they'd been tossed into a pile on the bed instead of being neatly arranged. I called the front desk and the manager himself came up with toilet brush and some cleaners... I expalined my discomfort with the room's cleanliness and asked for a new one. He was fairly accommodating but did not seem very sorry. I went back downstairs and was finally in a new room, much cleaner by 11:30pm. Likely would not go back here. Pročitajte više

Homewood Suites are always nice properties. The breakfast was excellent!!! Room was micely laid out but there was some lack of good housekeeeping (some mildew around the tub, fuzz balls behind the end tables, used washcloth beneath vanity. Beds were extremely soft. I have stayed at Homewood Suites before but this specific property was not as good as the others. The room was clean, but the bathroom tub, floor and walls looked old and not very clean. The toilet was running all the time becaause the flapper would not close all the way. The tub looked old and the caulking around it was cracked and coming off. The […] coffee machine in the room was the tiny, standard hotel coffee machine, but the one in my room was dirty inside and out. I don't mean it hasn't been washed, it looked like the stains on the glass decanter, heating plate, and the outside of the machine was baked on. I guess the age of the property makes a big difference in the look and feel of the hotel. The hotel had free Wifi, an excercise room with two pieces of equipment, and an indoor swimming pool. It was a great pet friendly hotel. No surprises at check-in. Very clean and well kept. The soft bed was wonderful. It was a little difficult to get in and out of the parking lot, but other than that it was a great place.

We stayed here after arriving into the airport late at night and waited until the next day before driving up north. Service was exceptional with a great breakfast in the morning and a friendly staff. You can tell that the hotel is a little more dated than other Homewood Suites, but I would definitely return for a visit.

I stayed for 10 days during the holidays in December and had a wonderful time. Friendly enviorment, free delicious breakfast offered daily, free dinners during the weekday, and courteous daily housekeeping. Comfortable room, comfortable bed, highly recommend it. Five stars '__'

We stay at this hotel every time we are in the area. It is our absolute favorite. Staff is friendly, hotel is clean & the location couldn't be better. We especially enjoy the hot breakfast and the dinner served Mon. - Thurs. evenings. While we do use the pool, it is a bit chilly at times. Nice hotel in the middle of shopping and restraunts. Friendly staff. Would like to have a more comfortable couch in the room and a bigger TV, but over-all a nice hotel to stay at.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. They were very hospitable from the front desk personnel to the people serving our breakfast in the morning. All made us feel at home and anytime we needed anything, they helped us get what we needed. Definitely will stay here again when we come visit family members.

We had an extended family getaway here. With 14 of us, the hotel was accomodating in putting our rooms together, our suites worked out great for all of the family members, and the facilities were used by all.

You can tell the staff cares about their customers. From the minute we checked in, we were taken care of. The front desk personnel were always asking if there was anything they could do. The breakfasts were plentiful and varied from day to day. The only negative is the bed -- it was a little soft and as the other reviewer said, we did have problems […] with the sheets coming undone. This hotel was really quite nice . . . .except for one BIG problem. The fitted sheets on the beds do not fit at all!! The king size mattresses would have been OK, but the fitted sheets kept popping off . . . . .all night long!!! And due to the slippery fabric of the mattress pad. . . .we would wake up on the mattress itself! This was not just because […] there were two in our bed, because the same things happened to my son, my daughter and my mother-in-law and they had the king size bed all to themselves. Very nice place to stay but a little hard to find at first. There is an Olive Garden right next day and several places down the street to eat. The breakfast left lot's to be disired. I'm sure that the next days would have been better. Very clean and quite place to stay.

We only had 2 nights booked and wish we had more. The front desk staff and the cleaning staff were very friendly. The room/suite was so much more than we expected.
