Comfort Inn DFW North-Irving - Irving

The halls smelled like dogs lived there. The room AC/Vent system smelled like mildew. We switched hotels the next day and we're much happier. The only thing good about this hotel was that it was located right next door to the airport off-site parking and shuttle service (called Parking Spot).

Stay at comfort Inn was O.K. The carpets in the hall way,elevator and the room were dirty and did not smell good.Time for new carpet or tiles. Breakfast was not my favorite. The scrambled eggs was worse, it had lot of water.

My connecting flight had been cancelled but I didn't find out about it till after 10pm. So luckily I had my iPad and I got online to hotels.com and found a room available at a nearby Comfort Inn with a free airport shuttle service. It was only 10 minutes away from the airport! And even being that close, I was able to get some rest before heading out […] the next morning for my rescheduled flight. No complaints. Room was comfortable and clean. Free breakfast was open later then most places which is a plus. Breakfast was what i expected.. maybe a little more. Right off the main highway from Texas Motor Speedway.. was easy to find.

The hotel is close to the airport. I called when I arrived out front of the terminal and the shuttle was there very quickly. The staff was pleasant and the room was as expected; basic. There was a noticeable humming noise that would come and go. I called the desk and they were going to send up someone (shuttle driver) to check it out and said they would […] move my room if necessary. It got late and I did not pursue further. I was dissapointed in the state of repair of my room. There was a hole in the bathroom door as if someone had punched it in. The bathroom wallpaper was peeling and appeared to have mold underneath.

Location in Market Center is also ten minutes from downtown Dallas with its fine arts district. Room was large, bathroom new, bed reasonably comfortable. Paid a bargain price which also attracted some rather unsavory fellow travelers.

Hotel and staff were great. Hotel was clean. Staff were very professional. Hotel is tricky to get to. There are two ways to get to it. The front entrance is accessed off of the on ramp. Once you figure it out it wasn't a big deal. Hotel is near the airport and is well sound insulated.

Everyone was very nice. Access to the printer to print my boarding pass was difficult because of the large number of businessmen and women in the hotel during my stay. The shuttle to the airport was a huge help.

You could feel the cold air coming in from under the ac/heating unit. So you had to keep the room hot or freeze. Not enjoyable. Top blankets were not comfortable and lots of static so you got shocked every time you moved. Pillows were cheap and small. Oh and our view was a brick wall.

We enjoyed the hotel, the staff was wonderful, and the breakfast was tasty. Ran out of waffle batter too soon, and the lady preparing the breakfast cleaned everything up before some of us had completely finished breakfast. It was a great place.

We booked online for two rooms with two queen beds in each. The beds were full size and were uncomfortable. The staff was very helpful with directions, etc.

I can not reach hotel by the phone in the airport, next to the waiting sign. When the voice says, "please type in first four alphabet hotel name ", I did it "COMF", but it kept saying that it can not recognize. So, I have to use my cellphone to call the hotel. This has to be fixed.

The hotel was sufficient. There were no bedbugs. I was in town taking care of business concerning a family member who I am responsible for and who has Alzheimer's. I don't think I'll stay here again though because the room had a musty, perhaps urine odor (hence the #2 rating). I think it was in the carpet and was noticeable when I turned off the a/c […] since it began to get cold out. I did not notice it at all the first night I was there. I might have tried to check out if I had not paid the whole amount through hotels dot com and the room was non refundable. The fridge was noisy as well. The staff was courteous. It was a very nice hotel; however, when i called to make sure that we could leave our car there, they said yes, no problem. When we got to the hotel, they told us that it would be $25.00-which was no problem, but it would have been nice to have been told that up front.

we needed only 1 night near DFW. I did not expect much for the very low price. WOW it was great. comfy King bed, great breakfast, 2 newspapers, clean room, good tv, easy parking. I saw small exercise room, guest washer/dryers. I would stay again.

We enjoyed our stay, our room was clean, bed was comfy, the breakfast provided a lot of options. The staff were great, we so appreciate the hotel van that will take you to some of the nearby malls, restaurants etc as part of your package. The hotel was nice and easy to get to. Even though it is right by an airport you couldn't hear the first plane landing or taking off. Very clean and friendly. I really enjoyed my stay there. The breakfast is really good. They also have a nice internet area. Overall if I'm ever in that area again I will be staying there.

The mattress in the sofa bed needs to be replaced. It was very uncomfortable. Also, the person at the front desk when we checked in did not notify us we needed to sign up for the shuttle. Our flight was at 6:25 and we needed to be on the first shuttle. When I asked when the first shuttle was, I was not told, and it could have been a real problem. When the website for the hotel states there is a courtesy airport shuttle, they should tell you it stops at 11 pm. My on time arrival at 11:45 pm left me with no shuttle service and a cab fare of $35 to get to the hotel. The hotel was nice but it was very difficult to get to it as it was on a one way street. Make sure you ask the clerk to give very good instructions. The TV had a problem and the bathtub faucet leaked all night.

Hotel was handy for airport and close to main highway for travelling around Texas. Breakfast was included in price and really good. Hotel had pool which was handy. Service was good and staff were helpful.

We stayed here while attending a wedding in Dallas. It was very convenient to our location as well as shopping. Hotel looked fairly new or renovated. We picked this particular hotel for its location; close to our appointment the next day and close to shopping, eating, and visiting with friends/family. The asst manager accomodated our wish for adjoining rooms and was very helpful with directions, meal suggestions, etc. This was a great stay at a great price. Thanks!!!
