Positives: The service was great, breakfast was delicious. Negatives: The room smelled odd and the beds were very squeaky. The price has gone up since my last stay 5-6 years ago, yet things are more worn and look like a little sprucing up wouldn't hurt.

I had a King bed room with sofa. It was extremely comfortable complete with 42" flat-screen TV in the room plus desktop computer. Another, smaller, TV was available in the bathroom to watch while you were enjoying the jacuzzi. All comforts were there with a good breakfast available in the morning. The staff was very nice and the room was clean. The carpet was wet from a leaky fridge, and the room could use updating. The back entrance door was always ajar which made me a little uneasy. Overall, it was clean and the price was good.

The beds were the most comfortable beds I've slept in while traveling. The TV's were huge, and had a couple HD channels. The one thing that I did not like about this place is the non-smoking rules were not enforced. People down the hall were smoking, even though the rooms were non-smoking. The bed was very comfortable, the price was right - BUT - the room could have used a good dusting. The tiles along the wall in the bathroom were missing. We needed a light bulb and a phone cord - but were told neither could be retrieved until maintenance came in (in the morning). Later we found out that was not true. very affordable, centrally located, but in dire need of updates in all areas. this is not a smoke free hotel which was somewhat of an issue because the smell of smoke lingered into our room and throughout the hallways and stairwell.

The room itself was ok but the bathroom was not. While generally clean, the shower rod was almost falling off the wall and there were water leak stains on the ceiling. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. They just need a better product to promote.

Other people across hall coming in a 4:30 AM banging on their door and hollering. Baymont is an older property that is pretty well maintained. The rate was a good rate and the room was comfortable. The breakfast was good with eggs, sausage, grits and waffles in addition to some bread items. Stayed last year and will stay again.

Very satisfied with this hotel for the price. It was super cheap and better than I expected. Big tv, very comfortable beds, kichenette AND a HOT breakfast. They even had grits!! The only downside was the bathroom. I think they are in the process of renovating them. It was outdated.

If you are looking for a decent (nothing special) hotel in Statesboro at a good price, then this is a good choice. We were in town for my daughter's graduation from Georgia Southern and needed a hotel close to campus. This hotel fit the bill.

We requested a non-smoking room and our room was on the fourth floor, When we stepped off of the elevator, we were greeted with a very strong smell of cigarrette smoke. Once you enter the Hotel you can tell that it is a little older, but the room was spacious and the king bed was nice. I also enjoyed the big flat screen TVs. There was a slight musty smell when I exited off the elevator on my floor, but the room was nice and didn't smell bad.

I'd stayed at this location previously and the rooms were nicer. I'm not sure if it's under new management but I was disappointed. The room was not clean. There was dust, chipping paint, dingy sheets, mold in corner of the tub and ceiling stains. I was very uncomfortable & did not want to touch anything. I definetly will NOT stay there again.

Went here for Homecoming so the price was higher than usual...I enjoyed the breakfast and cable tv though. Beds were a little hard compared to home but everything was clean. We had a king size bed, couch, hot tub. Nice overall. We'll be returning.

I was very dissatisfied. The cleaning crew did not come into the room at all the whole weekend. They came by while we were getting ready and asked if we needed anything, but never came back with the towels that were needed. The bathroom floor needs to be retiled. this was not a great experience, very loud hotel...someone was given a key to my room and tried to walk in at 10:00 at night. Luckily I had the safety latch on. Then didn't get any towels to replace the dirty ones and no toilet paper.

Carpets were worn. Room was not particularly clean. Wrappers found on floor. Tile had dust and dirt in corner near tub. Drain plug in tub was not secured. Toilet rocked side to side. Found food left in the fridge by prior guest.

We were visiting Georgia Southern University. It was very convenient to the college. The breakfast was very good and had an extensive selection. The bed was firm and comfortable. That is about all I can say positive about this hotel. It was very dirty and the plumbing leaked terribly. The bathroom had hairs left on all surfaces when we arrived. This is an average hotel, that is suitable for a short term stay. The hotel has some age on it, but it was clean. Just be sure you do not overpay for the average quality.

Room was clean. Bed was very comfortable, but the rest of the room needed updating. Lamp shades were torn/ broken. I went to turn on a lamp and the table top fell off. Bathroom fixtures very old. Lobby and breakfast area were updated and clean. Breakfast was very good.

Bathtub needed a bit of work - there wasn't a shield around the water knob and I was looking at the drywall and the tub caulking needed to be replaced. Other than that, the room was well kept and comfortable and the staff, as always, attentive and friendly.

I was just in Statesboro for the weekend visiting my sister at college and it was nice to be able to stay in a clean, friendly hotel. The extras included were great! Hot breafast, jetted tubs and pet friendly. I recommend this hotel if you are staying in the area!
