This is the 3rd or 4th time I've stayed at this particular hotel and I've been extremely satisfied every stay. The staff is always friendly and willing to help.

THE LQ is a very nice option on the North end of KC. CLose to the casinos and a $15 cab ride to the P&L district and downtown. A very nice option.

Nice enough but not above average in any way - conversely, currently staying at another hotel close by, paying more per night, but rooms are MUCH better - coffee and cookies when I am greeted and surprisingly, no graffiti in the elevator! If you are in a jam or need a cheap stay, stay here - otherwise, you may feel happier somewhere else

Room was in a state of disarray when I checked in - the staff fixed the issue in a few hours but offered excuses rather than a simple apology. I don't really care WHY the situation occurred, just fix it, say you're sorry and move on.

The services was bad, kind of rude... the room was dirty, really dirty. No ice, no sodas in the vending machine (only one machine in the hotel) and they don't have a mini store or anything else.

The bed was comfortable. Room service didn't even come one day. There was on of those silverfish bugs on my last day that I noticed on the other bed (had room with double beds) Slight smell if smoke in the hotel but not bad. If I had to I'd stay there again location to hospital was perfect (reason for my stay)

I stayed at this hotel because of the mega snow storm and I was afraid I would not make it back to work the next day. Based on storm prediction, I called later after booking online to extend the reservation by phone. I was told "sure, you are booked another night". I get in after 9 pm after a very long day, and my key did not open the door. Front desk […] said"you were supposed to check out today, so you were locked out" I gave the story and was told since I had reserved online, I would have to book again that night, with a much higher cost for the room, of course. Not really friendly and seems bogus if another clerk accepted the reservation a day before. Perhaps a way to get another $25 out of a person just trying to get to work in a snow storm? I could've slept on a cot at work and saved a couple hundred dollars, and I probably wouldn't have heard the storm whistling through a crack in my window all night. Pročitajte više

I can see why the price is so low. The towels are very thin, and the amenities are the bare minimum. The breakfast included was laughable--stale bagels and strange tasting jelly that turned my stomach. But if you are working with a tight budget, there are probably worse.

There was a Very Bad snow storm when we stayed. The staff did ALL they could and made it confortable. Most resturants were closed but the Denny's next door stayed open mostly for the guests close around. Everyone was very short staffed do to the weather but worked Extra hard. We will stay again just because they made it a good stay.

The person at the front desk was more than helpful. We came way early before check up time, the rep apologize that are room was not clean yet, I informed her that I was fine, because I knew that we were too early for check up. After 20 minutes, she found us a room. It was really great to be able to check-in early. She was very pleasant and helpful.

The room and service itself was great. My only issue was that on the website I had booked a smoking room and when I got there they had booked a non-smoking room. It would have been nice to at least get a heads up that i wasn't getting what I asked for.

The hotel was kind of musty smelling (like it used to be a smoking facility). The main guest room was nice, but the bathroom smelled like they took a smelly wash rag and washed it. The hotel needs some updating. The ice machine was broken and the door to our room didn't close properly. We have stayed here several times as it is close to our family and good price. We stayed 4 days and 1 day our room was not cleaned, had to go to the front desk for clean towels. breakfast is adequate. The People of the hotel are what makes it for […] us. We have stayed at many La Quinta's during our travels, and have enjoyed them very much. Despote the pleasant appearance of the loby, we were assaulted by cigarette smoke, despite the No Smoking signs present outside the building. The elevator was filty and stunk. The baseboards in the hallways and around all of the guest rooms showed signs of neglect, […] and the absence of a vacuum. When we entered our room, I was in the room about two minutes, when suddenly the door opened without warning and an Eastern Indian man was standing there with a clipboard in his hand... no knock or any other warning, just opened the door. I asked him, why? He said he was not informed that our room had not been cleaned....okay...but, knock first ! The bed was awesome! The room smelled so bad, I had to get a spray deoderizer for it. No one had vacuumed around the mini fridge in a long time. We travel with our 11 year old poodle, and she was going crazy over all of the strange odors she was smelling in that room. Fortunately, she did not smell another animal's waste in the room. I do not recommend this Motel, until it has had a thorough going over, and Quality control has done some work here. Pročitajte više

The hotel was easy to find, and very comfortable. I was nervous when I arrived because the entry and the hallway smelled like smoke, but the room was nice and clean with no trace of a smell. My one complaint would be that they emptied the dumpsters in the parking lot outside my window at 4am and it woke me up.

We have stayed in La Quinta in San Antonio, TX, Wichita, KS, Kansas City, MO and Fort Wayne, IN on our way home from Mexico to Canada. The best was in Fort Wayne. We booked through Hotel.com because it had better rate $$ than booking online with laquinta.com. We would have booked with laquinta if you had matched the hotel.com rate.????

This hotel is located in a fairly industrial area, with train tracks being fairly close by. The trains going by were not a nuisance to us because they didn't seem to go by at night. The location of the hotel allowed for very easy access on and off I-29. The hotel staff were a little flustered as there were issues of rooms being assigned to new patrons […] when they were either still occupied or not cleaned yet. However, the staff resolved the issue quickly and called the room shortly after to check in to make sure the room was satisfactory. We were pleased to have a microwave and refrigerator at that price point and there was a nice, big desk for work and eating. Additionally, the free breakfast in the morning was also surprising at that price. The bathroom was small and a little dingy, and even though the rest of the room did not smell smoky, the shower curtain had a strong smoke smell. At that price, we just ask that a room be clean and feel safe. This hotel provided both of those things in addition to a few extras one would not expect to find for the price. I stayed at the hotel on a Thursday evening and evidently there was a concert that night. Yes the people in hallway late in the evening were loud. But that is somewhat to be expected and part of dealing with being in a hotel. My issue was with staff and their walk-talkies. My room was right next to the elevator. Three times that night 12:30. 2:15 and […] 4:10 someone got off the elevator and had a conversation with another staff member with the walk-talkie. Beep, chatter, Beep, chatter, Beep more chatter. That is what woke me up. I understand they need to communicate which rooms to be checking but there must be a way to turn the sound down on the phone. That is a basic function on any phone. I had no other issues with the hotel cleanliness or location. The staff just needs to be more aware. I can say it did not give me a good impression of the La Quinta hotels. We stayed for 5 nights. Our grandson was having surgery at Children"s Mercy. The hotels closer to the hospital were twice the price or more. The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. Would stay there again.

The hotel room was okay. I didn't like how the bathroom was set up cause it was like a normal bathroom at home. I thought it was way too small. The add said breakfast included, but I have never been at any other Laquita were they just served waffles, toast, yogurt, and juice. They usually have meat, biscuits and gravy with a variety of cereals too. […] Needless to say I was very disappointed in their breakfast. The front desk people were really nice, but the housekeepers were so great. We stayed for 5 days and left some personal belongings on our bed the 2nd day. (Obviously I knew they would make the bed, they won't touch any of you personal stuff) They however used this as an excuse to only clean the bathroom and not take out all of the trash.
