Hotel San Luca - Verona

Great location, about 100 yards from the main Piazza Bra and Arena right at the gateway to the old town. It is down a little ally just behind a McDonalds so wasn't the easiest to find! Breakfast was very good, plenty of choice from the European style buffet. The waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful. Really central - only a couple of minutes walk to the Arena, and a supermarket just round the corner. Staff in the hotel were helpful when asked a question, but don't offer you information on check-in - there are free maps on the desk though for exploring Verona. You can buy a city pass for 2 days for 15euros or 20euros for 5 days, which gives you entry […] to all the attractions and free bus transport. However, all the sights are in walking distance and most you just want to see from the outside anyway, such as Juliets balcony. Very good place to stay. We enjoyed the stay. The room was very clean and nice. We enjoyed how close the hotel was to the arena (400m). About the only thing we didn't like is the Hotel is by a suspect alley, but is well lit and seemed to be safe.

Had a lovely stay in this little hotel which was a five minute walk from the arena and old town of Verona. The room was freshly decorated, clean and very comfortable although had only one small window which made it feel slightly claustrophobic. When my partner and I were going on a weekend break to Verona, we wanted a hotel that would be comfortable, affordable and in a great location to explore everything on foot - the Hotel San Luca is it. Friendly staff, average but pleasant breakfast, 2 minutes (if that) from the Arena and Verona is so small that most things are within a short walk away. […] The station is even only about a 10 minute walk. We have just returned from a one night stay at the Hotel San Luca. The hotel is in a very convenient location just a couple of minutes walk from the Arena. The main rail station and the airport shuttle bus stop are also within walking distance. The hotel is located on a side road but was still easily located. The reception staff were very friendly […] and efficent - helping carry our bags to the room. The room itself was well furnished and comfortable. The travel cot provided for our one year old son was of good quality and better than we have experienced in hotels in the UK. For a 3 star hotel, this was really pretty good. The location was great, and barely a minutes walk from the old city center and Arena. The room we had was fine, with good wi-fi that was included free. There was a nearby church bell tower, but it only rang a couple times a day and never too early or for too long, so was quite a nice bit of character, […] rather than a distraction. Breakfast was a continental buffet, plenty of fruit, cereals, breads and pasties. We realy liked it, thought it was great, but just don;t expect a full english. There is CNN channel! The room is clean but looks like a 10 yr old hotel.

Satyed for 4 nights in a double room. Staff was very helpful, the hotle is very clean and well maintained. Wireless internet was very fast for us. Only drawback was the size of the room, which was rather tight for 2 people.

The only downside to this hotel is the early checkout time of 10.30am.

Hotel is well located and good quality for the price. Room was small but very clean. Staf was formal and polite. Breakfast room spacious with good selection of food. Additional cost for parking at reasonable rate.

This is an affordable hotel in the heart of Verona, 5 minutes walking to Arena and everything. Wonderful place to stay, the staffs are kind. Only thing needs to be improved is the internet service.

Cet hôtel est une catastrophe. Dès notre arrivée nous avons été accueilli comme des mal propre après 5 heures de route même pas un bonjour. Si vous êtes ici c'est juste pour votre argent et on vous le fait comprendre. Le matin on vous presse de quitter la chambre à 10h30 et le petit dejeuner et médiocre. Zeer vriendelijk personeel. Charmehotel. De buurt schrikt op het eerste zicht wat af, maar éénmaal je in het hotel bent, voel je je volledig ontspannen. Nous avons passé deux nuites dans cet hotel du 8 au 10 août. C'est un très bon hotel placé à deux minutes (à pîeds) du centre historique de Vérone. Notre chambre était très confortable. Le petit déjeuner est également de très bonne facture. Si nous retournons à Vérone, nous retournerions sans hésiter dans cet hotel.

el hotel habla por si solo, tiene el encanto de un hotel boutique. se encuentra a 5 min de la Arena de verona. y bastante comodo.

Meget godt plassert like utenfor gamlebyen, i en stille sidegate, nærmest bortgjemt. God service, god frokost, meget pent rom og høy standard på fellesarealer. Litt hard seng, farlig glatt badekar/dusj.

Hôtel très bien placé, à 2 minutes à pied des arènes et de la vieille ville. Pas besoin de se déplacer en voiture... A recommander

Ideal gelegen, sehr netter Empfang, für ein 3* sehr luxuriös eingerichtet. (War wohl einmal ein 4*, wenn die diversen älteren Broschüren etc richtig sind). Man ist zwar mitten in der Stadt, merkt aber kaum etwas davon (unsere Zimmer gingen auf den Innenhof). zeer verouderde kamers. Tapijt smoezelig in de kamer, wc-bril oud en geel. Prijs-kwaliteit niet in verhouding. we boekten een extra nacht dit was inclusief ontbijt. Later moesten we het toch betalen, maar na enig onderhandelen werd dit geschrapt.

Loistava sijainti josta lyhyet etäisyydet joka paikkaan. Autollakin löytyy suhteellisen helposti ja parkkeeraus onnistuu. Siistit huoneet ja viihtyisät ja rauhalliset tilat.

L' Hotel San Luca prende il massimo dei voti quasi sotto ogni punto di vista. E' situato a pochi metri dall'area pedonale di Verona, 3 minuti a piedi da piazza Bra e dall' Arena. Al nostro arrivo (2 adulti) il check in è stato velocissimo, un collaboratore dell'hotel è salito in macchina con me per accompagnarmi al garage privato sotterraneo (che […] è esattamente sotto l'hotel, ma per raggiungere l'entrata sul retro occorre fare un lungo percorso in mezzo ai sensi unici). L'hotel da fuori non è appariscente, l'entrata è sotto un portico e non dà per niente nell'occhio, ma l'interno è rinnovato di fresco in uno stile classico molto gradevole e pulito. Il personale dell'albergo è molto gentile ed estremamente professionale. La stanza ci è stata consegnata alle 10:40 del mattino nonostante il check-in fosse previsto dopo le ore 14.00. La camera non era molto grande ma estremamente pulita e confortevole, tutta nuova, il bagno luminosissimo grazie a illuminazione di faretti a LED, sanitari immacolati e talmente lucidi da dare l'idea che fossimo i primi ad usarlo. La colazione viene servita in una sala al primo piano, anch'essa ristrutturata di fresco con lo stesso stile classico delle altre aree. Il menu è tipicamente tedesco, yogurt/torte/brioches/toast/cereali con l'aggiunta di affettati e formaggi. Le bevande calde vengono servite al tavolo dal personale di sala. La posizione dell'hotel è davvero ottima in quanto consente di raggiungere il centro a piedi in due minuti, ma è anche molto comodo per spostarsi in macchina in quanto non è nella zona pedonale. Inoltre per ogni evenienza, a pochi metri dall'albergo c'è un comodo supermercato. Per quanto mi riguarda il San Luca è promosso a pieni voti, anche grazie al prezzo molto competitivo (offerta di Hotels.com), e sicuramente sarà ancora la mia scelta quando tornerò a Verona. Et udmærket hotel hvis placering er rigtig god som udgangspunkt for at se den historiske del af Verona. Personalet var meget flink. Værelsets standard var under det forventede: Trang plads og det virkede lidt nedslidt. Garageforholdene var et helt kapitel for sig - sikkert med "dybt" under hotellet. En oplevelse i sig selv.
