Stayed in North Adams which is a 10 minutes drive from Williamstown. The overall stay was very nice. The hotel was clean and we, a family of 4 booked into a room with 2 queen size bed. I was pleasantly surprised that the rooms were as nice at this hotel as they were. I have stayed up in the North Adams area 3 times in the last 4 months and this is the first time I stayed at this hotel. I will be back. We have stayed here many times in the past and have been very satisfied. The rooms were updated and clean. Plenty of towels and amenities. Very pleasant staff. My son forgot his wallet and they called to let us know they were safeguarding it. Highly recommended.

I've stayed in this hotel approximately six times over the past 10 years or so and I'm happy to report my stay on 11/11/12 has been the best so far. The rooms have been updated and include improved bedding, TV's, and now have a fridge and microwave. My only complaint is the outdated heat/air conditioning system. It's loud and i had to keep adjusting […] it because the room would fluctuate between too warm or cool. The restaurant in the lobby is nice and not overpriced. The service was very good and the comfortable chairs in front of the fire and TV is a nice touch. I took advantage of the room service for breakfast by leaving my order on the outside door handle. It arrived on time and included everything that was ordered as well as any necessary condiments needed. Next time i stay in North Adams it will definitely be at the Holiday Inn as usual. This hotel was great - nice overall, including indoor pool, hot tub, ping pong table, game room. Nice lobby, nice staff. Restaurant on premises. The room itself was nice & spacious, very clean and comfortable beds. Also, hotel is very conveniently located - walk into town. The building looks more like an office building than a hotel. The parking lot feels odd, as does the lobby. The room was very comfortable - very good bedding, great flat screen TV, microwave, coffee maker...but no exhaust fan in the bathroom. We checked in very late (almost midnight) and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We prepaid for breakfast, and the vouchers were included along with our room keys. My only complaint was that Holiday Inn promoted "Kids Eat Free" when ordering from the children's menu. However, we were charged for all three of our children. The heating/cooling unit is not modernized and requires old school knob turning with an unreliable thermostat. It blows constantly and is noisy, and the temperature is never constant. This would be more typical of a $59 motel. It ruined an otherwise decent stay.

This was not a bad hotel for this category. I chose the hotel for a brief visit to Williams College. It was conveneintly located and I didnt want or need a luxury hotel. The room was clean, the staff was polite and helpful and the room included free Internet. My only complaint is the pillows...but I am picky about this.

Really dissapointed in the restaurant. Ordered a breakfast and asked for a blueberry muffin instead of toast. I received an english muffin and the blueberry one arrived at the end of the meal after a second request and then this poor statement from the manager "the blueberry muffin doesn't come with it - that's why it's late." Come on...how stupid does […] this guy think I am? The muffin had 3 blue berries in it. Also received a glass of milk I didn't order. Ice machine was loud and kept us awake at night. The hotel was conveniently located to the center of North Adams. It was a close walk to some really good restaurants. The Hub for dinner was outstanding (the chocolate cake was sensational). For a two night stay, it was perfect. Everyone at the hotel was very pleasant. The neighboring towns offered plenty to do within a half hour drive. Nothing much going on in No. Adams with the exception of a museum or two. They do have a couple of movie theaters. We (3) stayed at the Inn Room 510 when we checked in the Computers were down at 12:00, we were early but had a 2:00 apointment and wanted to get lunch before going so the girls at the Desk were so nice they stored our bags and said they would deliver the bags when the room was ready.We did not get back until 2:00am but the desk knew that we got to the […] room and we had asked for a cot...it was stained and very saggy no one could sleep in it so one of us slept in the chair! I called down to the front desk for extra blankets and for a half hour from 2:00 to 2:30 the front desk was busy so we gave up trying to contact them!
