stayed with my 3 young boys for 1 night. management was fantastic as we checked in later in the afternoon and discovered the room had not been cleaned(there... was a note from maid service on the bed). I called and the manager came up and helped us move across the hall and was very apologetic. He brought a few bags of chocolate for my kids with him. The pool was a bit grungy and is in need of a full reno. Rooms are a bit outdated and rundown. Bed was a bit soft for my liking; and traffic noise was a bit annoying(im a light sleeper). But it is central to shopping and there is a starbucks across the street; also the big mall is across the street. if the room was facing parking lot i am sure noise level would have been much less noticeable. we got a good price of hotels.com, and for a free breakfast included i can't really complain. good price and good location- safe neighborhood. would likely stay again on a girls weekend but not with the kids unless the pool was re-done. it was small, rundown and very cold. od mamasmyth od southern alberta dana 14-05-2013
