Holiday Inn Express Long Beach - Long Beach

Absolutly loved the hotel. Rooms were clean & the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was good & our girls enjoyed the bisuits & gravy. The hotel was right across the beach, we just walked over. The staff was friendly & helpful. We would definitely stay here again. We are already planning another trip down to Gulfport.

Holiday Inn Express Long Beach gave us everything we needed in a hotel for our quick Spring-break family get-away from Wisconsin snow. First of all, it was a great value & very clean and conveient. Not much around for other buildings and congestion, so we felt very safe. For the kids to just escape, run across the street and enjoy the Gulf water and […] beach, it was a perfect location. The staff was very helpful and friendly at all times, to print out directions to dining or sites, or bring us extra towls when the kids used them up. Locals in the area were helpful and freindly, and always willing to show the kids how much fish they caught & how, or tell us a fun site or nice, un-ordinary local restaurant to try. Free morning breakfast had great choices, was layed out very well, tasted very good and was a big bonus reason to choose holiday Inn again. We will be back. Pročitajte više

This was a really pretty hotel and a nice stay. We chose one of the rooms with a view. It was extremely nice. We woke up and the gulf was right out the window. I thought the bed was exceptional. It is a great stay well worth the money.

We stayed with 2 adults and 2 kids. The hotel was good. Only issues were in the bath room. The shower head was junk and sprayed everywhere but on you and the drain was slow causing the tub to fill up during the shower. The elevators take forever so unless you need to use them take the stairs. Staff was great. The beach is just across a 4 lane highway […] with no crosswalks. We didnt have an issue with crossing it. Breakfast was average but since it's in the price of the room we ate it instead of going out. All the main restaurants are a 5 minute drive down the highway. All in all, I would stay again. For some reason there was no hot water Fri morning when we got up:( Other than that we had a great stay. We were looking for a place to stay that was close to the beach and that had free breakfast!

Great stay. Only complaint is there were not enough tables in the dining area for the complimentary breakfast. Every morning we had to stand around with our food and wait for someone to leave or sit at the sofas in the lobby with our breakfast on our laps. Other than that AWESOME. Great location, great price, clean and comfy rooms.

I wold refer friends to this hotel. Loation was excelent. Staff was courteous and helpful. e visited in February so weather was not "perfect"--windy and cloudy but that is not reflection on hotel. Pool on ocean side was beautiful and kept spotless. Ovweall,,,exellent stay.

The hotel was great. The front desk nice and helpful. the only issue I had was at 11am some of the hotel staff had a small short argument in the maintenance closet that my room shared a wall with. We had a room facing the parking lot and it was next to the elevator. It was very noisy. We asked to have a room with a view and the desk clerk told us we would have to pay another nights lodging for an up graded room. The hotel was empty. We asked to speak to the manager. We were told there was no one there and there was no phone number to reach anyone […] to help us. The clerk was watching TV in lounge area and did not want to be bothered. We were not told about breakfast. The rude way we were spoken to was hard to believe. In the room the heat could not be adjusted so we just turned it off. The commode seat was broken and paint was chipped on the door frame. Also there were burn holes in the rug and stains on the dust ruffle around the bottom of the bed. We called reservations and were told the manager would call us. We never got a call. NEVER have we experienced such a lack of service. We are now hesitant to stay at or reccomend this hotel chain. the clerk that checked us in was awesome! she upgraded us to the gulf side room! The view was amazing! I have stayed here in the past, but this was the best room and the best experience! Sunshine and the beach! Views were awesome!

We were right across the street from the gulf. The pool was nice. Had a good dinner up the road, were able to walk to dinner.

Everyone was very accomidating and polite. The rooms were outstading for the price. This will be my normal stay location while in the Gulfport area.

our stay was only one night , it was our aniversary and i paid extra for a room with a view what we got was on the 4 th floor and a view of the trees outside, very limited view of the gulf. upon checkout the girl at the counter did not understand that the room was previsously paid for and charged the insidental charges to my card instead of just canceling […] and then tryed to explain it away as something else , the hotel was very nice but as told a bit inconvient. The hotel is right on the water and so peaceful. It's the perfect place to unwind after a long day of traveling. You must take the time to take a walk on the beach before going to bed! The hotel is very clean, the staff is very nice, especially Diana. If you can get a room with a view of the ocean, it's worth asking for.

The hotel is very new and very clean. There was a lovely pool right in front which allows you to look at the beach. The beach is literally across the street which makes for easy access. The only negative about this area is that the beach is not a great swimming beach for those taller than 3 feet. The water barely came up to my knees. However, the sand […] is fine and clean. There is not a lot to do in this area aside from the beach unless you are here for the casinos. The casinos in Gulfport and Biloxi are at most a 10-15 minute drive depending on which one you are going to. Food choices in the area are fairly decent. My grandson (8) from MN wanted to see the gulf of Mexico, and his brother (4) wanted to stay in a hotel. We had a room with a view, easy crossing to the beach, a delightful swimming pool and very friendly staff. It was close to Slidell and made for a great one night get away to fulfill their wishes.

Great hotel. The staff was friendly, room was clean, breakfast was great, and the location was perfect. One downside was that they don't have bathtubs. With a small baby that would have been nice. The only other issue is that there is no cross walk to get to the beach. You have to run across the highway. Great hotel all around. Housekeepers were very nice, always said hello, and asked if they could do anything for us. Breakfast was great and always well stocked. Beaches where great if you just enjoyed laying on the beach. Beaches clean and we were the only family for most of the day for a mile or so. We stopped at this hotel on a whim - we were driving down the coast and it was there at the right time. We paid more for a beach view room. The room itself was nice and large. Huge nice bathroom. Stayed here with family for five nights in late May 2012. Hotel is very nice. Breakfast area and our room overlooked the pool which overlooked the Gulf of Mexico across the road. Nice location next to Gulfport.

I enjoyed the stay in this comfortable hotel. The staff and hotel were great. The only issue I had was there were no stores nearby. I had to drive a few miles to a walmart to buy food. Other than that it was a great place and I will stay again next time I am in town.
