Comfort Inn - White River Junction

Stayed for 1 night for a meeting held in Enfield, NH. Check-in process was pleasant and the attendant was friendly. I was handed an electronic key which must be returned upon check out. Halls are a bit outdated. Upon entering the room, it was clean and and well-kept yet a bit warm. Nothing fancy. A typical Comfort Inn. The heating system was very sensitive […] and difficult to maintain a comfortable temp causing to 'toss'n'turn' all night. The next morning I went down for breakfast, which is included, offering fresh fruit, donuts, breakfast patties and eggs, yogurt and more. Coffee and food tasted fresh and was pleasing. The hotel and the rooms are quite basic. They are clean and comfortable enough but nothing extra. The staff was very helpful. My only "real" complaint is that the hotel walls are very thin. My neighbor was on a conference call at 7 a.m. and it sounded like she was inside my room. Otherwise, the stay was just fine.

I suppose that because the town is so small, the hotel wasn't quite as nice as other Quality Inns I've stayed in. There was a restaurant across the street but that was about all. The lobby area was verrry small so wasn't convenient to sit around with friends and visit.

THROUGH NO FAULT OF THEIR OWN, WE HAD TO LEAVE AFTER ONLY ONE NITE DUE TO A MAJOR POWER OUTAGE IN THE AREA RESULTING IN NO LITES, PHONE, TV OR ANYTHING. EVEN MCDONALD'S ACROSS THE ROAD COULDN'T DO BUSINESS. WE PAID FOR TWO NITES BUT ONLY STAYED ONE. RETURNED TO MAINE BY 8PM. KM PAGE

Carpeting in room had numerous stains.Very hard to adjust water temperature in shower do to overly sensitive faucet.( Either extremely hot or cold) Shower drain was very slow. You ended up standing in 3 or 4 inches of dirty water.

This hotel was ok at best. The carpets are all worn and stained on the 4th floor. The gym was small and only had 3 machines 2 of which were very old. The breakfast was fair. For the price of the hotel I was not impressed but the bed was comfortable and and the service from the employees was very good.

We called for an early check-in and were told on the phone we could check in between 12-1. We arrived at 12:45 and were told we could not check in until 2. The front desk attendant did not look up from her newspaper to make eye contact when she spoke with us. I found it rude and uninviting. The beds were comfortable. We needed a room with grab bars in the bathroom and what was available wasn't set up for someone handicapped and I was unable to use the bathtub.The indoor pool was cold and the water was cloudy. I enjoyed the free breakfast. This hotel is affordable and more than comfortable for 1 or 2 nights.

When we arrived there was no where to park - we couldn't even pull up at the front to drop stuff off because there were 3 or 4 cars blocking the area. We had to park in timbuck two.There was only one person at the front, which I think is understaffed for a busy Saturday night - I had to wait 5-6 minutes to check in but the girl was really nice -she […] gave us a treat for our dog. The room was nice and did not seem outdated to me, there was a new looking flat screen tv, but it actually ended up not having a great picture, but we didnt watch a lot of tv so it didn't matter. Everything was clean and nothing smelled, and they let us have a normal room with our dog, a lot of places force you into a smoking room, so this was a big plus. The pool was really small but nice - we went in the morning and for a little while had the whole thing to ourselves - the exercise room had like two things in it.... wouldn't really call it that! Lastly - We had the most problems with breakfast - They need a bigger area - it was packed and really hard to get around, and they let everything run out. My daughter wanted a waffle - well after waiting for 5 minutes for someone to come fill up the empty mix I went and found the food lady and she rudely said "I have to mix it up so it will be a while" I could see where she was overwhelmed working all alone so they were understaffed yet again. Overall great experience. Easy check in. Wasnt expecting much from the room considering it's a comfort inn, but it was surprisingly comfortable and well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful and the hot breakfast was great!

No body at front desk would answer our calls from the room. Room sofa bed had used bed sheet and no blanket or pillow. Room cleanliness was not up to the expected level.

The front desk staff was unhelpful when I arrived the day earlier than my reservation in finding alternative accommodation, but fortunately the staff at a competing hotel with whom I did not have a reservation helped me find a room in another nearby town. The hotel is dated and needs some renovation. Found the overall cleanliness of room to be lacking. Elevator smelled of cigarette as did the "no" smoking floor. Staff was a bit unfriendly. On the positive side the breakfast was great and well stocked. The pool was one of the nicest areas of the place.

The curtains had dust on them but the pool helped us be forgiving. I was positively appalled that the exterior doors of the hotel are never locked and don't even have locks on them.

Hotel was fine for a quick overnight (arrived late, left early). Breakfast was good. Staff courteous. No shower curtain was... well, airy. Room temp was just right.

This was a nice hotel but a bit dated with worn furniture and carpets - but the staff was very polite and courteous - convenient location to the UVAC - Upper Valley Aquatic Center - overall okay for the price.

It took about 15 minutes before getting hot water in either sink or shower. Shower wall was cracked. When booking with Expedia, I had requested a non-smoking room =- only available rooms upon arrival (at 2:45 pm) were smoking.

Very nice price/quality ratio. The included breakfast was very nice and varied (including warm breakfast). Staff is friendly and helpful. Great location. I've tried several hotel/motels in this area, and this is the best for the price, but a long shot!

We arrived at 3 AM on our way up to Killington from NYC and were swiftly checked in...the pillow-top beds are more comfortable than I expected! Make-your-own-waffle machine at the Continental breakfast adds to my recommendation for anyone to stay there.

Really good location for Woodstock if you dont want to pay Woodstock prices There was not enough staff for check-in..just one person No good restaurants nearby...Chinese buffet was average
