We loved the Leela Goa. We stayed with two small toddlers. The property is beautiful and the private beach was large and nearly empty most of the days we were there. Not worth the price paid. The conservatory premier room was hardly 350 - 400 sq feet whereas the hotel states the room is 58 sq mtrs or about 625 odd sq feet. Room service is very slow. Lagoon is crappy. Hardly a Lagoon. You can get better stay and facilities for 1/3rd the price. Pool is very shallow. The hotel is very good .great value for money in rainy season However the lunch and dinner buffetis very mediocre, especially for indian guests, the spread is very few and very poor in taste and also abscenely priced. I recommand people to stay in the hotel leela and eat out.

This was a wonderful resort- our room (with terrace) was beautiful- the resort is spacious, private and impeccably maintained. We dined almost exclusively in the main restaurant, sometimes a la carte, sometimes buffet, and it was very reasonably priced, and the standard was very high. These hotel was absolutely amazing from the service to teh decor and teh staff. You were treated like royalty and definitely worth paying that little bit extra. We had the buffet 'All Measl' in our package and there was so much food that I do not think you could ever get bored. The waiter and waitress' were amazing they really helped with the children during meal times so that you wee not at all uncomfortable. Swimming pool is not as big as I thought it would be for such a big hotel but I guess the beach is beautiful, clean and warm that you don't really need to use the pool that much. It you want to stay in South Goa this is the best hotel by far. The beach is also great with a variety of water sports and you can take a trip to Dolphin watch by speed boat or in a big group. Lovely lots to see. The Spa and Gym are also well equipped. They have good activities for kids in the kids club and they have free sessions for all every morning like yoga etc. * Please note that there are some renovation works going on at the moment but this part of the hotel is closed off for residancy. I was travelling on my own and was nervous about getting lost in a big hotel, but from the moment i arrived, the Leela staff did everything they could to look after me and make my stay special. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone, despite being under reconstruction at the time. The beach is perfect and at your fingertips, the pool is a blissful haven, gardens to stroll in, massages to enjoy and so much food to eat!! Stayed in Club Suite for 3 nights with family (Sept 29 - Oct 2nd, 2011). Lovely views from the balcony, quiet section of Mobor beach, almost feels like private beach for Club guests. We stayed here with our 21 month old son and could not fault the hospitality and willingness of the staff to accommodate our every need. The Leela at Goa is an amazing destination, stay only there while in Goa if you wish to pamper yourself. The service is great and so is the property. There were some renovations going on but with minimum disturbance. The restaurants are out of of this world. Highly recommended.

I came to The Leela in Goa to specifically do nothing. Just relax for a few days, sit by the pool, eat, and drink. The Leela was PERFECT for this. Ein sehr schönes Hotel nach einer manchmal anstrengenden Indien-Reise. Alles sauber, man kann alles essen (habe dort sogar Fisch gegessen, ohne krank zu werden). Wunderschöne Parkanlage. Sehr schöne Zimmer und Bäder. Freundliches Personal. Wer einen reinen Strandurlaub plant, sollte aber lieber z.B. nach Mauritius fahren, in Goa kann man wegen Strömungen […] schlecht baden, es gibt keine Wassersportangebote und keine Rettungsboote, und trotz allem ist der Hotel-Standard insgesamt eben doch nicht ganz der gleiche wie in klassischen Stranddestinationen. Tip 1: Die billigsten Zimmer nehmen, nicht "Conservatory Premiere". Im Gegensatz zu den billigeren Zimmern, die in kleinen Häuschen zu zwei Zimmern schön um Lagunen angeordnet sind und Balkone haben, liegen die teureren "Conservatory Premiere"-Räume im Haupthaus neben der indisch riechenden "Shopping Arcade", haben keinen Ausblick und keine Balkone. Tip 2: Man muss aufpassen, nicht irgendwelche Leistungen abgerechnet zu bekommen, die man gar nicht wollte oder die umsonst sein sollten. Z.B. wurden mir, weil das Bier wegen einer Fliege ausgetauscht wurde, 2 Biere berechnet. Wenn man sich aufregt, wird das alles aber immer berichtigt. Letztlich ist man in dieser Hinsicht dann eben doch wieder in Indien, auch was die Versuche manchen Personals betrifft, einem ständig etwas aufzuschwatzen. Tip 3: Lieber Halbpension (Half-Board) als Vollpension (All meals package) nehmen, sonst ist nur das Buffet inbegriffen, nicht die Restaurants. Pročitajte više
