Nice hotel. Stayed in the upper building which has the quaint furnicular that takes you up the hill. However, if you are trying to work and have to go back and forth, you lose too much time going up the hill.

The hotel in general was perfect. Very clean and comfortable room. The breakfast was absolutely perfect and more than I expected. The location was good enough, you have metro and tram five minutes walking, and shopping centre, restaurants, shops and cinemas so close.

I was very happy with the Movenpick Hotel in Prague. It suited me because it was only 4 stops on a tram to the convention I was attending. It was very clean and of high quality. It is not the most convenient location if one is on vacation since the Old Town area is some distance away. However for my purpose it was excellent.

If you're booked into the Executuive rooms, you'll have a surprise when you go to get in the elvevator. It's a cable car, upto a steep hill to another building. This gives fantstic views over the spires of Prague. (you can get a similar view in the Bar of this building. Very big clean rooms. Free wired internet. Clean bathroom and aircon/heating that […] works. I was on the ground floor which backed onto a park, with a table and chairs outside - perfect for the moring coffee and cigarette. The Movenpick Prague is on the airport side of Prague so makes getting there after a flight pretty easy. It's not in the centre but only a 15 min away by taxi. We were with a tour group, the hotel oversold for our dates, then gave us all upgrades to suites. Those rooms were excellent, but the wait for a twelve person tram to get everyone in the upper building to/from the lower lobby got old quickly. I had booked a standard for an extra day (the tour was supposed to go into standard rooms) and Movenpick insisted […] we move ourselves out of the upgrade and down to a standard - not how we wanted to spend our extra day in Prague. Got lost looking for it. However, the rooms made up for the inconvenience in location. Staff are courteous but some are struggling with their English. Breakfast is ok with a fair amount of choices. Stayed there for a week and it was Amazing! Everytime we go back in our Hotel room it was clean and bathroom stuff were organized. This is a great hotel. Our rooms were on the 8th floor, executive level and were absolutely huge. The breakfast buffet was superb, probably the best I have ever seen. The surrounding area was OK, a bit noisy next to the road but perfectly safe. One is cordially greeted by the maitre d each morning, there was an amazing variety of fruit, cheeses, juices, eggs, meats, vegetables, hot dishes, beverages, etc, including champaigne. The dining room is lovely, with a great view, and the service there was outstanding. One's coffee cup never remained empty. Ackoliv se jedna o 4* hotel, zklamalo me zarizeni pokoje, ktere pusobilo zastaralym dojem - hlavne opryskany nabytek. Angenehm, Super Frühstücksbuffet. Zimmerzustand in Ordnung, eben typisches Business-Hotel. Die Betten bzw. Matratzen hingen etwas durch,. Lage 25 min zu Fuss von Altstadt. Großer moderner Shoppingcenter nur 2 Blocks entfernt. Fitnesscenter ist alt, keine Fenster.

Attention, l'hôtel semble accueillir beaucoup de groupes (le parking d'autobus en contrebas est assez éloquent). Für einen Städtetrip nach Prag eignet dieses Hotel sehr gut. Von Vorteil ist eine gute Verkehrsanbindung und vieles ist auch zu Fuss gut erreichbar. Es gibt ein tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Wir bekamen ohne Aufpreis eine Juniorsuite statt eines Doppelzimmers! Für unsere beiden Kinder wurden ebenfalls ohne Aufpreis 2 Zusatzbetten bereitgestellt! Vom Verkehrslärm (mehrere große Straßen in der Nähe)hörten wir im 7. Stock fast nichts. Die Frühstückszeiten sind gerade für Eltern von kleinen Kindern sehr angenehm, ab 6.30 gibt's schon das Frühstück. […] In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es mehrere Spielplätze. Ho avuto un'esperienza pessima primo giorno ho avuto camera tripla quando avevo prenotato per 4 il secondo giorno sul tardi mi hanno dato quadrupla. Le cartine di Praga per quanto riguarda metro non sono aggiornate e te le danno alla reception dove non capiscono nulla di italiano ma parlano un inglese sbiascicato. Poi la cosa grave che ha terrorizzato […] la mia famiglia e' stato guasto teleferica la sera al ritorno cena ci siamo trovati bloccati nella cabina bloccata e piegata di 60 gradi non si stava in piedi mia figlia più piccola strillava terrorizzata e per fortuna eravamo solo in 4 altrimenti se c'erano persone anziane si ferivano e se non si fermava sarebbe stata una tragedia. Non solo ma questi mascalzoni una volta usciti dalla cabina ci hanno indicato la strada di ritorno a piedi ci hanno dato 3 ombrelli e via senza giacconi al freddo di sera sotto la pioggia nel mese di gennaio a Praga. Morale nemmeno delle scuse niente ci siamo persino persi la sera ed abbiamo dovuto chiedere ad un passante la strada x hotel. Husk å kjøpe dagspass til kollektivtransport i hotellets resepsjon, kioskene selger ikke dette, og automatene tar bare mynter (og er alltid opptatt med lang kø). Hotellet er stort, betjening er hyggelig. Det er plassert i utkanten av de tetteste områdene i sentrum, med 5 min gå-avstand til Andel handlesenter (stort, fint senter) og trikk/t-bane. Rommet […] vårt hadde enorme vinduer som kunne åpnes i sin helet. På badet var det en litt dårlig lukt, typisk som om vask manglet vannlås el. Tre engelske kanaler på TV. Hotellbaren og restauranten ("fin" men kleine servitører, god mat) ligger veldig høyt i pris ifht. selv de dyre turistfellene rett ved Karlsbroen. Anbefaler kjeller-restauranten/bula på høyre hånd like før Andel handlesenter, 3-4 min gange. God mat, også tradisjonell om du ønsker det, OK rimelig. Bodde i en av deras "superior suites". Stort och fräscht rum. Mycket bra frukost, bra hotellbar och trevlig personal över allt, från receptionen till städerskorna. Inga porrkanaler på teven dock. Fanns spårvagn och tunnelbanestation nära, gick även att gå in till stan om man inte hade bråttom. Wir wurden bei unserer Ankuft mit einem upgrade für unsere Buchung angenehm überrascht und bekamen eine Juniorsuite zum Superior-Zimmer Preis. Die Fenster waren gut schallinsoliert, so dass man von der nahen Stadtautobahn nichts hören konnte (Zimmer lag zur Strasse raus). Die Leistung der Klimaanlage war wenig überzeugend: aufgrund ihrer Lautstärke […] konnte man sie beim schlafen nicht eingeschaltet lassen. Frühstück war super: große Auswahl-immer alles verfügbar. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Negativ waren die Preise im Hotel, die weit über den Preisen der sonstigen Gastronomie in der Umgebung lagen (sowohl bei Speisen als auch bei Getränken.)Absolut abzuraten ist von einem Besuch im Il Gardino: völlig überteuerte Preise bei winzig kleinen Portionen und langen Wartezeiten. Und: obendrein holte ich mir dort eine Lebensmittelvergiftung (der Hinweis darauf wurde von Hotelpersonal nicht beachtet und ernstgenommen..). Fazit: Hotel als Unterkunft besonders bei Sonderangeboten als Unterkunft absolut emphelenswert-Essen und Trinken sollte man (abgesehen vom Frühstück)lieber auswärts! Pročitajte više
