This hotel is close to the metro, has a great breakfast and has WiFi included. The staff is friendly and it is an easy walk for multiple restaurants in Bethesda Row.

I selected this Bethesda hotel because of its proximity to the event I was attending a few blocks away. The service was outstanding and the valet service parked my car. Our room was quiet and we were a few floors above the entrance and didn't hear any street noise or noise from other rooms. The price was excellent for a one bedroom suite with an immaculate […] kitchen. The furnishings, drapes, wallpaper and carpet were modern and tastefully done. The breakfast buffet was included, which was located in a roomy cafe on the second floor and the food was great. The desk staff was exceptional when we arrived. Giving us restaurant ideas etc. Even had a Polish girl working and I had a foreighn exchange student from Poland...was great. Althought the lady in the morning was less awake and really didn't aknowledge us at all before we left.

We were very pleased by the size of the room, the friendliness of the staff and the convenience of being very well situated, (close to Bethesda's shops and restaurants and 15 min away from the Metro Center station, which is downtown DC). We will certainly return to this hotel in the future.

I stayed for a week and I loved this hotel. The suite was beautifully furnished and comfortable. The hotel also had free dinners 3 nights a week in addition to full breakfasts. The staff was extremely helpful.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very kind and helpful. We took the Metro to see the sites and the distance to the station is not much at all. Do not pay for the hotel parking. There is cheaper parking at the lots not far from the hotel. The room was beautiful and the inclusion of a small kitchen was a delightful surprise. The beds were great, as was the shower. Towels were a little tired, but otherwise the stay was wonderful. Nearby restaurants terrific. Parking difficult in this area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel - Bethesda is a great area; we were close to the metro, movie theatre, and book store, plus excellent restaurants (Original Pancake House, Madeline's, etc.). We had a great time!

We pre-purchased our hotel stay in May, and we arrived on Saturday, July 1, the day after the massive storm and power outage in DC. When we tried to check in, they told us they did not have our king size bed suite that we had paid for, but they could give us 2 queens or a studio. I asked how they could not have it, since we had already paid for it. […] She said there was a massive storm the night before, and I replied that I knew this but that should not affect our room situation since we had already paid for it. She offered for me to talk to the manager, so I waited. While waiting, I let each customer know what I had happened to us. Rooms were selling for much more than what we paid, so I assumed they were hoping to get more money for ours by giving it to someone else. After the third guest heard my story, the front desk clerk magically found our room. When we went upstairs to it, there were wet towels in the bathroom and trash in the trashcans. This is NOT typical of this hotel- we've stayed here twice before, and I blame the messy room on the natural disaster since maids could not get in to work that day with all of the roads closed from overturned trees. I would have appreciated this message instead of we no longer have your room. I would absolutely stay there again, as the area is fantastic and the rooms are great for families. I come to the Washington DC area every two weeks and this is where I would like to stay now each time I come. I got a good deal from Expedia and will be checking frequently in the future in hopes that I can find another such deal for this hotel. Hotel also had a great full breakfast for guests.

For a family of 4, the size of the room was wonderful. We had plenty of room to relax. The heating and cooling worked great. It was so nice to have a kitchen and living room separate from the bedroom. The bathroom was huge which worked great for us 4 girls.

Felt like it was a great value. Very quiet and comfortable room. I thought wireless was free, but only for 24 hours so I was a little disappointed with that. There was quite an extensive assortment of breakfast choices. They did offer food in the evening but it was quite limited. I would highly recommend this hotel and will return on my next visit.

The Residence Inn has nice comfortable suites--perfect for families--in a good location within walking distance of the shops and restaurants of Bethesda, and a convenient metro stop. It also has an extensive buffet breakfast (included in the room price) with hot and cold foods, waffles, eggs, juices, several coffees etc.

My family and I were looking to visit Washington Dc for a few days. The price of the hotels in the city were very expensive. This hotel offered the same quality and for a lot less. It is close to the Metro so getting into DC was a breeze. The city of Bethesda also had a lot to offer.

Hotel was conveniently located in downtown Bethesda, room was exceptionally nice and exceptionally clean. Staff was friendly, and they called us a cab that got us where we needed to go inside of 15 minutes. Parking was confusing, when we got there, there were over 1/2 dozen cars parked outside with blinking lights and nobody in them - I presume the […] valet was backed up. Metro stop away from the medical center and few more stops to see DC's attractions. Being able to have them shop for your groceries is definitely a plus :)
