For the price, this was very disappointing. Very outdated, old carpeting, odd smell, extremely slippery floor with water/snow in lobby, falling apart walls in bathroom. Friendly staff but this place is in need of renovations.

Heater really didnt work. Bed was hard as a rock. I could barely turn around in the bathroom. Hallway smelled like smoke.

We checked in late and slept OK, but there were a few things that needed attention. There was an iron burn in the carpet and the hair dryer was weak, but other things were OK for an older hotel. We were glad we googled the location, as we didn't know Waterloo.

Although my hotel room was clean, it didn't really look like it because everything is so worn down and old it all looks dingy and dirty. The lobby and hallways reeked of cigarette smoke. Breakfast was disappointing because there were a few stale bakery items or make your own waffles. Not even bagels.

Very good from a value standpoint, breakfast was very good. Hotel internet was ok in my standards. I game, every 5 minutes I would lag out for whatever reason in my game. This is very important to me. Surrounding neighborhood was good for a bar scene, but otherwise kind of sketchy.

the staff couldn't have been nicer, but the neighborhood could. There were people lingering in the parking lot just watching us unload our car. Not to mention the boarded up buildings across the street. The hotel itself was clean and breakfast was good with nice staff.

The hotel was big disappointment overall. No pool, weak internet service and a pitiful breakfast. The hotel looked very old and the room didn't look clean to me. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Room was very small but clean. Small beds, queens would have been much better. Would have been nice to have a listing of TV channels in rooms. Only one elevator was working. Liked fridge and microwave in room. Was across the street from convention center where we had to go. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Front desk staff was tired so that made her iretiable, only one elevtor workng, had problems with key a couple of times, just wasnt a good stay.

Online the hotel seemed fine but once there the hotel was old, dated, dirty, and unpleasant. It was not worth the price that was paid.

Walked into a cold room probably 40-50 at 12:00am after driving 5 hours. Turned heat on which did work but by 2:00am still very cold. Too tired to ask for new room. Just piled other side of bed covers on me and my coat and tried to get warm. Shower was very cold in AM. Only 1 channel of TV which was a country music video channel. Overall stay was horrible. Horrible sevice and horrible cleanliness. Just an overall horrifying experience. Not at all satisfied. Couldn't even sleep the hotel was so unclean. The name says it all. Thsi place is a quaulity facility. Very nice breakfast in the morning. Very clean nice rooms. People are helpful and friendly. The person working nights can be a little unpleasant, but overall this is a great place.

Besides the carpet tiles on the elevator walls ceiling to floor, and the toilet paper you couldn't use because it was so tightly in the bar, and a non-smoking room, where the hallway smelled like smoke, it was not all that great. Just saying.

When I come through the door I wonder how I'll be treated when they know I'm an Expedia booking and paid less than probably most staying at the hotel. In this case, were treated fabulously. This was a nice hotel for the price. Easy and convient check-in and check-out. We only stayed in the room mostly to sleep but it was comfortable and quiet. This is an older building found in downtown Waterloo, but we ended up with a room that has 2 rooms inside it. It gave us space to spread out!
