"Not good enough"

"Place to spend the night"
We stayed at this hotel overnight before heading to the Everglades and points west. It was fine for an overnight stay, but a little tired overall. Sound traveled easily between rooms although fortunately everyone went to sleep by 11 the night we were there. The pool is ok, but nothing fancy and a bit tired. Convenient to have a full service restaurant […] on the property although we did not eat there. Room was clean and Internet was good enough to Skype. "On the way to the Keys"
The room was not clean, stains on the carpet, stains all over the bathroom walls and had an unpleasant odor. The outside stairs were in poor condition. No hot water at 6:00 am, but it did warm up by 7:00 am. The man checking us in continued a phone call while working with us. We were not his first priority. "Good hotel for visiting Everglades Park"
Hotel was completly full when we stayed there on Friday between Christmas and New Year. Staff was friendly, but did not manage to clean the room during the day. Was OK because we were able to take new towels anyways for the second night. (by Florida humidity there is no chance of the towels from day before to dry out!) "Ease of location!"
We wished to tour the Florida Keys as the location of the hotel placed us Midway between the airport and US 1. The area surrounding the hotel was not great as it is in South Miami, which houses a very poor portion of the population. I do not recommend driving at night through the city. Use the Florida Turnpike when leaving Miami International Airport! […] With that being said the hotel stay was very relaxed as there were no rowdy teenagers or other riff raff to deal with. "A good choice near national parks"

The hotel staff was unfriendly, and the attached nightclub blasted music till 3 am. My room was about 100 yards away and it sounded like the speakers were in my room.AWFUL! "Pay for somewhere else."
I have stayed in many low budget hotels.. This one was by far the worst. No shower curtain in the shower. In the morning to make coffee, found the previous users coffee bag dried up in the filter. Had to have my key reset when I came back because it got changed some how. While taking my bag up to my room a permanent resident told me I could buy any […] drugs I needed from him. "Clean, inexpensive motel with a good location"
That is a typical motel-style establishment. Check-in and checkout was quick, room was clean, Internet was working in room without problems. "Better than I expecdted for an inexpensive hotel"
Our room was clean and comfortable, as were the beds. The room was reasonably quiet. We had a room in back, and one of the furthest rooms from the highway, which probably helped. One of the lamps did not work (? burned out bulb) and another was missing a light bulb. It is hard to understand why such simple items are not checked by the cleaning staff […] on a daily basis. The breakfast was nothing to write home about, but the price we paid was low enough, that I thought any breakfast was a plus. Overall, I was pleased enough that I would stay here again. "Very enjoyable two night stay."
Lamar, a very friendly/smiling front desk clerk greeted me as I arrived. Lamar later exchanged my room immediately after checking in, when I found air conditioner wasn't cooling the room. I was a little disappointed with the confort of the beds and the roon was muggy and very warm when we arrived. When we went to shower in the morning before we checked out there was NO hot water.
