Nice hotel obviously aimed for business travellers but also handy for shoppers and tourists.The beds and pillows were the most comfortable we have used. It would be better if the pool was open later than 7pm., but overall a great place to stay

most of our stay was very good until partying from across from the shopping centre partying all night with loud noise forget sleeping. I had high hopes for this hotel. However, I was gravely disappointed with the service and room. There were a lot of issues with the room. First the toilet was leaking and had hair in it. The bed sheet had a stain and the phone does not work and cannot call to housekeeping. The safety deposit area was small with most of the boxes unavailable and the […] key was not working. Getting your things out was difficult and requires a lot of time. The housekeeping took a long time to come and bring towels and brought a dirty towel. The registrations staff was courteous but they were understaffed. It means long waits even to check out. Location is the best. Singapore-KL bus stops are just in front of the hotel, and the other is just across the road in front of Time Square Shopping Mal. Shops, food, LRT are just at your doorstep. You can get to any location easily. Hotel service is good, but you have to ask for it, otherwise the TV is not adjusted, no bath robe, no slippers, aircon […] cannot be adjusted...The swimming pool is too small to swim in, and there is a rope the divides to pool in half, making it just a place to soak in. Melia is located in the busy Golden Triangle (Bukit Bintang) area. For anyone who has not been to KL before,this is probably the favourite area for tourists. Our flight to Sydney left at 2340pm and our checkout was 13.00pm. We were told that we would have the opportunity to have a shower before we would leave for the airport. The best about the hotel is the location. The service was very slow and the reception didn't answer when I called from our room (which I never experienced before to get a new password for the WIFI which was included in the premium room charge. Breakfast was nice.

Convenient location for shopping at Bukit Bintang and Berjaya Times Square. However, has to pay RM 3 per entry for each time we enter the car park. Should have complimentary for guests.

The staff was most friendly and helpful . Unfortunately, the same can't be said for the room. On the second of our 3 night stay, we found a bedbug in our bed which had fed itself to its fullest with me being the victim. Staff was great and friendly, and the location is good. the room we had was appaling, the whole level smell musty, and also the room. i have hayfever so that smell cause me to sneeze alot so was a bit unconfortable. smell was amplified when the aircon was turned on. the only experience was great staff.

Hotel itself and location OK, right opposite Berjaya Times Square Mall. Staff made it a real let-down. They'd lost our booking, power failed in our room, our swipe cards repeatedly stopped working in the lifts / room..all could have been dealt with smoothly and easily if the staff had have been friendly and helpful but almost all of them were very unapologetic […] and didn't seem to get the idea of service with a smile! The hotel was nice and clean but there were almost no sun on the pool area since the pool is behind the hotel. Also they charge 58 RM for 24 hours of Wifi which is simply too much! My suggestion is to go across the street to Starbucks for their free Wifi.

Meliã is a great hotel - it's literally at the front step of the Imbi monorail station, across the road from Bejaya Times Square (which is huge!) and a 5 minutes stroll the the shopping paradise of Bukit Bintang. Every morning housekeeping provides daily newspaper as well. The room was clean and bathroom amenities were all present; bathtub was clean too and the king size bed was very comfy. I am very annoyed with the check in system in which debit card is not accepted. I offer to have my deposit to be made through my debit card but they insist cash or credit card. I am confused what is the different with paying through debit card as it is cash deduction direct from my bank account? And they wont even willing to complete my check in until […] they receive full amount of the deposit, not even if I offer them partial (all my available cash) and return later after going to ATM. My intention is to have my family checking into rooms instead having to wait at the lobby in which they have been waiting for more than 30min because of lond queue at that peak hour. Some more, I had PREPAID the room charges in full. I have to go to the ATM, return and back into the queue for another 15min. The porter and Bellman are pretty crude and attitude changes when tips are given. So give your own judgement. Inspite of repeated requests and reminders for Star or Chinese paper (which they agreed),hotel gives only one type newspaper ie The Straits times. Judge the service yourself!
