I have stayed in alot of hotels and this is not up to par as to what I payed. not even a ref. or a micro wave. the room was very clean and the service was good.

Too much noise from hallway, exterior sides of room. Heating/ventilation difficult to regulate/moderate. Arrived to find that I had TWO reservations via Hotels.com - despite cancelling one of them onlne a day earlier (and replacing it with the second). The hotel is a few miles from the university, but close to restaurants and the highway. Rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Pros: Room was clean that is it. Cons: Refrigerator did not work, King Bed was oversized for the room, two people need a larger room, and this room was the smallest I have ever seen in my life. Mattress was VERY hard, my husband and me were sore by end of the week. I was extremely disappointed that they would call this a "HAMPTON INN"...it was nothing […] like any of the other Hamptons I have stayed at. Was not worth the money. Did not like the hotels lobby it is very shabby. It did not seem cleaned because it looks run down.( Although, it was fairly clean.) I expected it to be more like the other Marriott's hotel and it wasn't. The breakfast wasn't that good. I wouldn't stay there again. I hated the lobby area and rooms. It was not a good value!

I had stayed at this property about 7 years ago and was just expecting a clean room honestly. The staff was very nice, but the bathtub still had hairs from previous guests in it and there was a huge spiderweb (with spiders in it) in the corner of the bedroom. This is the 2nd Fairfield I've stayed at recently,and will be the last. Like the last one, it is not bad, just not very good overall. The staff was good. The room was reasonably clean, one towel was stained, the bathroom wall covering was peeling off, and the TV was the kind not sold anywhere in the last 4-5 years. The hotel is next to a busy highway, […] and the noise was pretty intrusive. Out of ~60-70 hotel nights I have a year, this one is the noisiest I have encountered in a very long time. Like the last Fairfield, the breakfast is way below par compared to every other chain I've stayed in. It is very limited, and anything other than bread products or the waffles is machine wrapped in plastic or paper. Our stay was very pleasant. We had no issues. It was clean and had everything that had been represented. The staff was friendly and helpful. We thought it was a good value for the price. I would recommend this hotel.

stayed Thurs-Sun for a Bama game weekend. Front desk very nice. Wanted to get a roll-away, but due to fire code they cant give them for rooms with 2 beds, only single king rooms, of course not their fault. Would stay here again in a heartbeat

If you're just looking for a decent hotel that's also quiet, you should check out this one. Even though it is very close to I-20, I couldn't hear any traffic noise at all in my room. A nice, affordable, quiet hotel. Service was good, rooms were clean and modern. Nice indoor pool, free continental breakfast (actually had quite a selection !). A short drive to the main shopping and tourist areas, and there's a 14 screen cinema within walking distance (5 mins). A great place to stay if its just 1 or 2 nights.
